Chakra

I discovered Chakra through a friend when I was visiting her apartment and getting ready for her birthday dinner. The scent was intoxicating and mystical and I asked if I could try it. It had a great sillage on her - on me it seemed to get absorbed into my skin more quickly, but that is how almost all fragrances work on me so I wasn’t surprised. I ordered some online and have been wearing it steadily since. I am a fan of Frederic Malle’s “The Secret”, which is very strong (some might say too strong!) so I have substituted Chakra as my go-to scent and I wear the Secret more on special occasions. Anyone who likes refined rose floral and incense notes should appreciate this scent. I think it’s very elegant so some might prefer to wear it at night but I find it very versatile. Grateful to have found it!

I've owned a bottle of Chakra for 5 years now and it's a perennial favorite. I've been interested in other rose fragrances before - especially rose/leather/wood fragrances - but never pulled the trigger because I don't like any of them as much as Chakra. The tobacco and leather add a dark edge but despite a profile that sounds sort of heavy and imposing, I find this fragrance to be very wearable and not heavy at all. I feel like this could have something to do with the high-quality natural ingredients that are used to make this perfume. When I get through my bottle, I will definitely be repurchasing and I look forward to wearing this fragrance for years in the future.

I have nova chakra and have been loving it for the summer weather...it dries down a bit powdery on my skin from the rose but also has an oily and warm edge to it that works so well in the hot weather! It’s floral without being too overwhelmingly sweet which I really like. Florals and musks are my favorite and I find that so often they don’t last in a way that works for my skin, they get sharp or just totally disappear which I don’t find happens with Chakra. It’s also an unusual mix of the two which can be very polarizing depending on how they are used, but here I really enjoy it. One of my current favorites!

This is my favorite scent and one that friends remember. It’s not overpowering but it’s often noticed and I’ve often received compliments about it. I’ve also gifted it to friends and have found it changes slightly on different people’s skin. I find it has a little tea, a little woody with a slightly sweet floral note, which makes it very adaptable as an everyday, every-situation suitable scent. I’m a little sensitive to some perfumes but this only is the right balance for me.

Love this scent, it's very unique. Warm, sensual and absolutely not something you will find someone else wearing. A great signature scent thats very intoxicating. I first spotted it at Catbird in New York years and years ago and it stayed on my wish list for a long time before I sprung for it a few months ago. Stays forever so its a really great value.

This is a strong scent that lasts. To me it is very unique. I see the scent notes, but I thought one of the main components was chrysanthemum :) A bright chrysanthemum. It is not q typical rose scent. I will have to wear it soon and see how I could be mistaken. Anyway, I love it.

Signature Scent worthy! Any temp! Any occasion! In the heat it’s fresh and uplifting and in the cold it cuts through and goes less green into a deeper scent. A Love.

I usually hate rose, but my friend wore this once and I was really intrigued by it. I always thought the combination of tobacco and rose sounded too heavy, but it's actually incredibly alluring! It's more attention grabbing than the other NOVA scents, but it's really nice. Probably a good date night perfume.

I have to admit, I have been collecting fragrances for 2 decades now and I have many fragrances that makes me happy, but there is not one I can compare to Chakra by Nova. When I wear this fragrance it immediately enhances my mood and elevates my entire look for the day; wearing Chakra also makes people around me are happy and the compliments that I receive are unparalleled. Julia is also one of the most amazing perfumers I have ever shopped with, her customer service and care are just phenomenal. I love Chakra by Nova. It's legit my favorite (I wear it all seasons, but autumn nights are the absolute best time to wear your Chakra by Nova).

I have a thing for tobacco rose perfumes. I'm always seeking them out from natural perfumeries. This one is truly a gorgeous blend with all the right touches. The soft rose petals are fresh and sparkling with dew. There is a waft of a breeze of nearby tobacco fields. Growing up in the south near the tobacco plantations, the scent of fresh tobacco leaves is truly an aroma I will always remember. This is a unique approach to the tobacco rose. Its airy and vibrant. A scent when you want to feel refined and put together for the day. A modern day masterpiece. Beautiful!

Absolutely amazing rose fragrance set apart from others by its staying power and combo of woodsy, musky sweetness. I love wearing this in fall and summer, but it works for any season. Lovely for an outing, day or night, but I find myself wearing it when I'm alone to feel like a goddess! Another amazing unisex scent from Nova.
