Blue Fortune

I received a sample with my Aqua Di Gio order, not heard of this so wasn't that fussed about it, but it was at hand and I had to leave the house to pick my son up from school so gave myself a few shots from the sample. It's funny because it comes across as a more subtle version of Aqua Di Gio, greener but a similar vibe which must be the citrus and patchouli. Walking outside in the North East England crisp weather (November 8°c) I really enjoyed the smell, doesn't change much from the initial spray but almost 3 hours in and my wife can still smell it on me sitting a few feet away. Very pleasant, I would say all year round and versitile which is exactly what I look for in a fragrance, maybe better for casual occasions. I think the £80 retail is about right but will be looking for a better price, overall I am impressed.

This is herbal and fruity fragrance, where rose is not overwhelming, but rather completes the scent with woody undertones really beautifully. I have 9 different Novellista perfumes and everytime i apply one, i get this feeling that they are put together of truly high quality scent oils. Blue fortune is very stylish and suave fragrance, masculine, but not '500mph in your face' kind of way. Sophisticated might be the word i'm looking for. Also it's very nicely balanced. Definately a warmer climate daytime scent. I can imagine this works in any occasion. However, there are better performing Novellistas out there, as this doesn't last but an 2-3hrs. I wish this would stay longer on me and had better projection and sillage.

On my skin it reminds me a mixture of Bleu de Chanel + Aventus, interesting

I destroyed my previous review of this because I was quite on the cut with this! I have had this scent sample before , and now again. I couldn’t understand that trick here for price. Really got this like a very pungent, coniferous green, superior general of the beast and the masculine scent. But... Yesterday I did the spring cleaning and just sweat hot( ! ) when my doorbell rang, and I quickly freshener myself with this ... Oh, heaven how beautiful this blooms on warm skin ! Masculinity green and sharp pine tones have go down to base and stand out from the warm, slightly peppery but stunning sweetness of the elemi and some jammy rose and jasmin. The scent is beautiful, pleasant, interesting and very long lasting.... An hour later, as my skin cooled again, that masculinity and very green note became overwhelming for me again. I would love to smell this on a man. But I think with the right (warm) skin chemistry and summer heat this could be enchanting for woman too. But for me? No.

Got this as a part of a set of samples, never having heard of it before. The opening is.. something. Intensely herbal or genrally green and quite harshly so, definitely not pleasant. Fortunately, it settles into a more reasonable generic blue fragrance type scent - somewhat sweet, bit of wood, maybe some spice. Overall not something i'd consider buying.

Its is like a woody grassy scent. At the opening i liked it but then the grass smell started to get stronger and i hate that in a scent and it putted me off. Nothing wow and it is not for me. Reminds me of a flower in our garden from my childhood. Performance is great.

Super herbal—like really herbal 🌿🌿. That’s the dominant vibe, nothing else.

Received a sample. Far from unisex in my opinion, leans heavily female. The rose, jasmine and cedar notes in this remind me of my wife's Dior J'adore. Not for me.

This smells just like cheap aftershave.

Had a sample of this, with another perfume and just tried it. Boy, this is all over the place. The opening is rampaging through my nose one time smelling like sweet bubble gum, then slightly sour and soapy body wash and the next whiff is some Axe bodyspray... Smells artificial, cheap and not well blended... don't even want to wait for the dry down. Just avoid!

Very very nice and versatile fragrance that could be used all year round and for all occasions. Got a few compliments and that does not happen to me usually. Would say it smells like a warm sunny day.
