Fawah Midnight Edition

Wow. 4 weeks after first getting it, it has gotten SO much better. it started off quite middle eastern grandma sorta smell, and i failed to see what the "apple pie" vibe people refer to this as. NOW however, the cinnamon, sweet honey, vanilla & has ramped up so much, still has the backbone of the incense & leather giving it some depth but it smells delicious. made it into my favourite fragrances list on my profile now... this is just a test on my wrist after the first 10 minutes, so i cannot speak for full performance yet, but i will come back to edit it after i have given it time to progress. although, the projection is pretty darn strong now tbh, only did two sprays and it's pretty much room filling rn 😂 we'll see how long it lasts, but i am very impressed with how this has aged over a month. has a nice atomiser too! the bottle design is quite boring tho thats just about the only down side for me... but much less people will be seeing that than smelling it so i suppose isnt a huge deal, but its nice to have a pretty bottle to make my collection look more aesthetic. Update: 2 hours in - much closer to how it smelled on the first sprays out of the box, with that leather & incense grandma vibe much more prominent, i still like it, but the opening is much more enjoyable. Update: 8 hours in - i can still smell it on my wrist with it still being easily noticeable. i went to sleep after this. Update: After sleeping - STILL smelled it on my wrist when i woke up, this is 17 hours after spraying. Update: 24 hours after spraying - still there! faint, but there. for on skin this is very impressive. Performance Conclusion: Strong projection first 30 minutes, moderate projection for around 2 hours, slowly progresses towards skin scent to the 9+ hours mark then hangs around faintly for 24 hours total. I would like to try the newer silver cap batches of oajan, because this is supposed to be a dupe of the original gold cap version, so it would be interesting to see how they differ. Hopefully keeping the sweet cinnamon opening for longer?.. although i doubt it. reformulations usually only make fragrances worse. armaf the lion's club courageoux is also another more recent inspired by oajan fragrance, with "tobacco leaf" listed as a prominent note. tobacco & cinnamon are probably my two favourite notes, so perhaps i may prefer courageoux to this nusuk. courageoux isn't available in my country yet however, so i will be looking forward to when it is!

Im impressed how this is so close to oajan, I have a decant and the only minor difference is in the quality, not twists or missing notes. While oajan feels a bit more sweeter and well blended, this has a lighter opening and feels a bit pungent compared to the og, and when it dries down few hours on my skin i get a very slight “pissy” aspect if I smell it very close (this might be the honey bc it happens to me with other fragrances that has this note, especially vintage ones) that I don’t get in the original despite having this note but it's not something very noticeable or that ruins the fragrance, it’s just an attention to detail. That being said it doesn’t mean that it smells cheap or something like that, in fact it has an amazing quality in terms of smell and especially performance (way better than current batches of oajan), but aside that little aspect they’re pretty the same after 5 minutes, 90-95% close imo. Great fragrance, great performance (10-12 hrs in my experience and loud projection) and for the price it’s an absolute bang for your buck that could easily replace the og. 9/10

Worn it three times to work so far, and I have to say I fell in love with this scent and its performance. Lasts all shift with PRESENCE (but not overwhelming at all) and even catch whiffs of it 10 hours later and it's present on skin even 12 hours later. *EDIT: Perhaps I oversold the performance because of missing with a lot of arabian fragrances recently. After using hitters like Liquid Brun and Ghost Spectre, those two are in a whole different ball game with performance. Fawah Midnight Edition does perform, but expectations aren’t nuclear. It’s a very subtle lingering scent that you catch whiffs off throughout your wear.* The scent itself is in the realm of vanillic warm spicy and almost sweet, akin to it's clone oajan, and in the same ballpark as angel share. As a novice I would say this is the masculine leaning evolution of the angel share DNA, and I would say it makes owning angel share or a clone of it redundant. The scent alone is beautiful, but the performance is even better, and the price makes this a foundational scent from now on.

@Kamil it’s widely available on various platforms such as eBay and Amazon and from sellers who specialise in Arabic fragrances. I’d highly recommend this but not just in cooler weather. Many will tell you it’s a winter/fall fragrance but heat makes many dissipate, quickly. This actually shines in warmer weather. I use a body lotion before I use my fragrances and it gives more longevity and projection, I know many others who do the same. This is going for low prices now. If you buy trending Arabic’s then you’ll pay double or more. This can be bought for as low as £25 now. One that get a lot of reaction when I wear it. I’m 61, many on here would baulk at the idea of guys my age wearing what I do. Luckily I’ve never followed trends or am I bothered by opinions about fragrances being feminine leaning. You’ll not be disappointed by the allure of this one. Back up bottle worthy

After a year on the shelf can safely say it's a keeper for those who wait that long. Was good out of the box - deep honey, amber sweet and a good dose of cinnamon. Very wearable. Came into its own after months in storage though, same as before but much more complex, heavier projection and a lot more interesting in the drydown, although it has morphed from an easy mass appeal profile into something I can see others not liking, although I find it a marked improvement. There's a deeper, darker but still 'new' leather with some incense and some medicinal notes that appeal to an older bloke like me. Strong 8-10 hour performance, type of stuff you'll wake up and still smell yesterday's wear. Not for overspraying, has the capacity to offend if overdone and can get cloying. Monster on clothes.

im not even lying i just got this yesterday, sprayed it at like 10PM 3 sprays on my ARM, its currently 9:34 PM the next day and i can still smell it on my arm, keep in mind there has been NO maceration yet I just sprayed it for the first time yesterday and the scent profile is absolutely gorgeous, this is a must have. ima still let it macerate a bit tho cus i thought it wouldve needed it which is why i bought this in july lol, although honey isnt a listed note it still smells like theres a honey note present, very nice warm sweet fragrance, not really unisex i think i see this as more masculine leaning, this is a beautiful scent very close to pdm oajan for a fraction of the price and better performance.

lovely little pickup for cheap. won't get into the weeds over how close it is to oajan - comparison only involves talking about where it fails when this can quite happily stand on its own. great opening on the spicier side - almost get notes of a citrus and unlit incense when the wind blows the right way - and after half an hour start to dry towards this dark, slightly sweet scent that is kept from getting too powdery and vanilla by the patchouli and amber. very wearable stuff that i find myself liking the more i use it. easy daily driver, easier to wear in cooler weather but you wouldn't be super annoyed if it was your only pick on warmer nights. easy recommend.

I think I tried Ojan some time ago but it was with a bunch of other scents so my memory of it is kinda vague so I can't compare Fawah to it but I can tell you this reminds me so much of SA Shaghaf Oud Azraq, with Fawah being better blended and way cheaper (about half the price, at least where I live!). I'm getting waxy honey, cinnamon, resins, vanilla, and patchouli. Smooth and cozy unisex cool weather night time scent. Pressurized atomizer, good quality juice, acceptable performance (not beast mode on me so far tbh), nice heavy bottle, for a very low price. This is amazing value for money that's hard to beat!

My version is 07/25, so should be mature enough and just need a week to oxidify. Out of the box, already a delight for those who like gourmand fragrances. The recommendation by Eau de Jarino was spot on, it’s “edible”, prominent cinnamon very slightly incensy. Projects well, lasts long. I don’t know about PDM Oajan, but this fragrance is another keeper. I wouldn't spray it on clothes, the notes won't develop fully, and the cinnamon/patchouli mid/base will get stuck alone, becoming a nauseating scent that will last over 24 hrs.

In one of my prior reviews about PDM Oajan - I highlighted the fragrance very much - this is a very close by - I love the scent - It is Nice and Unique - I think it is Unisex with a slight inclination towards Male. Yes it is cinnamon pronounced and the scent is very likable - it lasts the whole working day and I still get whiffs after 8 hours. Very pleasant and not screechy. I enjoy it very much and would buy again. Found in in EU for EUR 35 = which is a solid price for that quality.

Honestly, this is incredibly close to Oajan for a fraction of the price. I have a decant of Oajan (and it’s from an older batch as well, with the golden cap) — Fawah Midnight Edition just came in the mail. After spraying both on each arm I can attest that there is literally no difference between the two, not in smell, not in quality. Absolutely recommend this if you’re looking for some pure cinnamon-honey goodness with really good performance. 10/10

I agree, just wooow! I've just got this beauty and I'm so in love with this fragrance. Beautiful honey is the dominant at first. Slowly drifts towards cinnamon and vanilla. Simply amazing! Unisex for sure. No experience about longevity, projection is moderate...with one test spray so far🙂 Can't wait to wear it.

This is exactly the same as Oajan after testing it up against my bottle of Oajan I will never buy Oajan again as this is actually much more potent this site is becoming a joke because anyone who voted this as weak is simply trolling this is 💯 beastmode

I own the OG gold cap PdM Oajan and this stuff smells so darn close. I snagged a bottle today for a steal. Now I can smell like Oajan without wasting all my high end juice. These clone houses are getting ridiculously good. Amazing stuff!

Don't want to spend the cash to own PdM Oajan or Hermes Ambre Narguille... this is a very inexpensive alternative and smells very, very close. Quality is much lower but scent profile hits very close.

Smells like an older formulation of Oajan. Projection is a little weak for what its supposed to be but for the price tag this is nuts! Longevity I get is ok but this stuff smells absolutely amazing!

Ok. It's Oajan - right after opening it was not possible to tell the difference. Box pretty elegant, bottle not very ugly. Sweet, strong, dark, plummy and boozy. Well done.

Wow, such a nice and strong fragrance. I can smell honey and cinnamon. I adore it, one of the best perfumes I own. For me, it's unisex. I am a woman, and I like it a lot.

Honey and cinnamon, what can i say more? Real winter killer, only downside is performance being only around 6 hours longevity, but for 30$ what can i argue

This is could’ve been a contender to Oajan. I was able to get a decant of PDM at my local Nordstrom so I could do a side by side test...Fawah opens up extremely cinammony and a little screechy but, because it’s an Arabic fragrance, I would assume maturation would help fix some of that. Besides that, this is pretty dead on in the dry down. Obviously the quality of oils here differs from Oajan but it doesn’t smell cheap. Where this veers off a bit is in the sillage. Compared to Oajan, this is LIGHT. The performance on this is not good. It sits closer to the skin after an hour then completely disappears. I can’t say with full certainty that this will improve after a bit of maturation but I don’t see this improving all that much. When it comes to presentation, bottle and atomizer are middle of the road. For the $30 I paid for it, it is well worth the price. If the performance in this wasn’t so bad, it would be a Great fall/winter fragrance that would’ve made Oajan almost unnecessary.....almost. And remember “Scent is subjective and so are opinions”

It’s great it’s definitely more of an oajan then an angel share little less of that apple pie though, so if you just took oajan and took away some of the sweetness that pretty much exactly what this is. I’m gonna let it macerate for while though, because i just got it.

Don't get me wrong I like this scent but just does not perform for me. Nothing more than a skin scent with little or no projection.

Got this yesterday. Keep in mind that I've never tried Oajan before so I don't know how close it is to the O.G. To be honest, I think It's just alright for now. The first hour it just smelled like this overpowering waxy honey and I didn't really get anything else. In the drydown those spices and vanilla came forward so then it did sort of smell like some apple pie, which was really pleasant. I'm just gonna let this one sit for a month or two and then I'll see if it changes.

So far all I get is the cherry filling of a cherry pie: tart sweetness, I get no burnt sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, incense... any of that. Disappointed but this is only day one.

Yes, I also get that medicinal smell mentioned in the comments—cinnamon, burnt sugar, cocoa shell, yes—it reminds me of the hacı yağı (pilgrim's oil) used by the elderly grandfathers who come to the mosque, it definitely smells like that. When I wrote this review, the visible rating was 4.49/5, which is very odd—I don't think it matches general appeal. To me it's a polarizing scent, and it seems I'm on the side of those who don't like it. The perfume is quite new, and there's no sign of the scent evolving into something completely different either.

Idk i just see videos about this fragrance and see the notes and order it i thought i will love it depends on everything but what i smell is a cinnamon lotion i cant get past the old creamy part of it suprisley baaaaaaad

So not good! If you know perfume then you know this is not in the same league as PdM Oajan. But if you enjoy this then wear it, who's to judge..... just dont go paying more than $10 for this, honestly.

For all the ppl talking crap about this they just don't like gourmand fragrances, this fragrance up close smells dark and sexy with incense leather but in the air it smells literally like a cinnabon, i don't have oajan so idk if it's similar, the longevity is not beast mode but very good 8+ hours with strong projection for the first 2 hours, definitely very good fragrance, even my teacher complimented me on it and I got 6 compliments in two days with it Edit: i just tested the performance and it was 7 hours working 11 hours as a skin scent and the projection was room filler for 1 hour and strong to moderate for 3 and then into a scent bubble and on skin it smells like cinnabon too no incense maybe in the first 15 mins there's incense but then it smells like honey vanilla cinnamon and a bit of booze

I was suckered into getting this one as a blind buy after watching a video, and while the fragrance does smell good and feels perfect for the fall and winter seasons, I was expecting much stronger projection. The scent itself is pleasant—warm, spicy, and inviting—but the performance was disappointing. Both projection and longevity fell short of what I had hoped for. The cost wasn’t bad, so I don’t feel too bad about the purchase, but in all honesty, I’d probably recommend skipping this one. If you’re looking for that rich, spicy cinnamon-type fragrance for the colder months, there are better options out there in the same scent family. The presentation was excellent, but the overall quality didn’t quite live up to the look.

Smells exactly like how juicy fruit gum tastes. Which would be nice if it was a more refined smell of juicy fruit, but no - straight up juicy fruit. Hoping maceration puts some fire in this cus right now youd be better off walking around the city chewing a pack of juicy fruit for 99c than this. If oajan smells like this then f*** pdm i will never buy your 99% watered down bs bottles, id have a better chance getting a scent out of a bottle of fiji water and itd probably smell better too. This is an Amber forward fragrance, You do get the honey , The honey is the waxy comb like honey . Maybe a little patchouli, No cinnamon. I don’t get any of the other notes but that’s my nose . It’s pleasant but nothing groundbreaking! It reminds me of Angel share on the dry down! I will let it sit a few weeks then revisit hoping the other notes come forward especially the cinnamon! It’s unisex leaning masculine.

After sampling 10 ml of PDM Oajan, I realized it wasn’t that good for my taste. That’s why I decided to buy this instead. It gets about 80–90% close to the original, which is good enough for my taste. However, if you’re a true fan of the original Oajan, I wouldn’t recommend this one. The synthetic quality is noticeable, and it lacks the richness, smoothness, and refinement of the original.

Fawah midnight is a beautiful combination of lemon zest and soothing lavender. It's got a hint of smoky patchouli, crisp apple, and earthy tones that give it an interesting twist while the vetiver and vanilla keep it perfectly balanced. Loved the lingering essence of lavender! I'm a huge PdM fan, but have never gotten my nose on Oajan. I really like Fawah Midnight Edition, but at the extreme tail end of the drydown or after showering I get this very distinct hair spray smell. It's the only part of it that I can't stand. Can anyone who owns both this and Oajan tell me if Oajan exhibits the same thing?

For me, the ‘smoky’ note gave it a much stronger, more beautiful edge than the original. Honestly, the original is nice, but the smoky one took it to a whole different level. Beautiful perfume, great for night outs — hard to wear just anywhere, but for me, it’s amazing and stunning specifically because of that smoky quality.

On YT and tiktok people are saying that this has good strong sillage and longevity here no one mentions it? Accept one guy i guess
