Acqua Fresca

I went to high school in Campinas, Brasil from 1984-1987 and this scent gives me saudades! Probably half the girls in my school (Escola Americana de Campinas) wore it, my sister and me included. Obviously, I have strong sentimental associations with this fragrance, but even if I didn't, I would love it. It's a beautiful clean, fresh, green scent, but with a little something warmer and deeper too.

I find this a very therapeutical water (and as a matter of fact, one of the sales girl has told me it was first created for medicinal purposes). It ́s wonderful to use when you feel tired of strong parfums, because it ́very clean, uplifting and detoxing (citrus). Also very relaxing, great after a bubble bath. I didn ́t like it when I first tried it, but know I like it a lot!

A Brazilian classic, this is a timeless beauty and a national jewel. A perfume that is perfect for a tropical country, or anywhere nice with warm weather. Acqua Fresca is fresh without being aquatic, it is citrusy without being particularly fruity, and it is woody without being too bold. It is one of the most elegant perfumes I own.

This makes me feel like I'm 12 again! This was my first ever bottle of perfume, a gift from my godfather. It's hard to objectively review it, as my memories make me quite biased. But I can say that this is green, uplifting, and happy. :-) The closest comparison would be Vera Wang Bouquet.

Wonderful, really famous in Brazil in 1987, 88, 89, ... So different, fresh but strong. I love it, it ́s a classic!!

I don't think this is a light fragrance at all.. it's green, for sure, but not light. For me it's heavy and I didn't like it at first, because it gave me a terrible headache. But I decided to give this one a new chance, and now I think it's good. I use it to go to college. This fragrance lasts for about 6 hours on my skin,silage is average. This is a good choice if you want a green scent with good longevity that doesn't scream for attention, but makes you smell good the whole day.

I like this one very much! It's kind of an unissex scent, that makes you feel clean and in a bright mood. It is very fresh because of the citruses, and the notes of lavender, rosemary and pine tree give that relaxing feel. The cedar note is also very comforting. As many people have already said, this is a great perfume for extremely hot weather. This is one of the only 3 that I can stand wearing when the temperatures are very high.

Got this as a birthday gift. A simple fragrance that has so much sentimental value to many Brazilians. I am also reminded of my dear departed grandmother, she always smelled amazing. However, it is not in any way "mature", you can pull it off at any age, as it is a very fresh citric and green scent and I think part of its success is that it works well even in hot and humid climates.

Very fresh, clean fragrance. Like “I just took a shower” type. Perfect blend of citrus notes that get comforting (lavender) and just settles in a suave musk. I love it. Had to let it sit for almost a year though, when I just got it was way too unbalanced.

Um clássico dos anos 80! Fazia muito sucesso entre os funcionários de uma certa empresa multinacional automobilística, de origem alemã, onde estagiei naquela época... Maravilhosa!

Acqua Fresca was a fever during the 80s. Fresh fragrance, it is a unique lavender with strong notes of musk, patchouli and a kick of lemon, which reminds me of a sophisticated, delicate and neat person. Reminds me of bath taken, spring and nature, too. The scent of my adolescence. Acqua Fresca foi uma febre durante os anos 80. Fragrância fresca, é uma lavanda única, com fortes notas de almíscar, patchouli e um toque de limão, que me remetem à uma pessoa sofisticada, delicada e arrumada. Me lembra o banho tomado, primavera e natureza, também. O perfume da minha adolescência.

An extremely fresh & uplifting fume. Lots of citrus to give your nose a zing but in a good way. Great for scorching hot days. Personally I wear it to gym but apply minute amounts as it can be strong. The best I can describe it to is waking up in a meadow with scented greenery along which a crystal clear stream flows, feeling all energised by the fresh air of the early morning & ready to take on a brand new day.

This unpretensious potion sure smells vintage and completely different from what we see as feminine nowadays. It has zero sweetness, is very sharp in the beginning, and smells like a citrusy, earthy soap in its heart and drydown. Despiste all of this, it is SO comforting. Very natural and unobtrusive. I like to wear it to bed, it makes me feel grounded and safe.

Fresh! Fresh! A lot of freshness! Yes, it really gives the idea of cut leaves! When I was younger I didn't like it, I thought it was only for "mature women". Now I think I can wear this one! hehe :D And I ain't mature enough! ahahaa

i know a lot of people that like it, but i really dont. smells like home fragrances to me. smells cheap and it's cheap
