Almost Nude

Oakcha did it again. This is so close to GGGB that I cannot tell the difference. I smelled a sample on tissue and I was immediately reminded of GGGB. I was transported through time back to trying on GGGB at Saks; that’s the power of olfactory memory, and it wouldn’t have happened if this perfume had not been practically identical to GGGB. It’s pretty. It’s not as powerful as GGGB, but that’s a good thing. It’s a pretty, non-offensive floral that is just as worthy as the one that inspired it. This doesn’t smell like ten other things; it smells like GGGB, and that’s a beautiful thing. I like it a lot.

As a lover of tuberose and white florals, I was super interested in GGGB based on its notes and description. I finally smelled the OG at the airport and was smitten by her, but not enough to pay the full price. So when I saw that Oakcha had a dupe, I pulled the trigger immediately. Unfortunately, while it's similar, it has a strange unpleasant plasticky note that I encountered in many modern fragrances. I don't know what it is, but it ruined the experience. I will give it a few more days.

I love how it smells when I spray it - and that is about as long as I'm able to smell it. Very light and clean smelling, but it's literally there and gone.

Almost a perfume. Just like GGGB, it’s almost a full fragrance. It’s a whisper...
