Marshmallow Mist

This is my first review here, and I made this account purely to post about this scent, because it's my new signature scent, and I can't get enough. Think "freshly opened bag of fruity marshmallows." The orange is clear and sharp, the anise gives a nice, warm edge, the soft powdery vanilla marshmallow scent takes center stage as its backup dancers of citrus and musk follow its lead. I'm a big fan of Sixteen92's CrushCrushCrush. This is a similar scent, but with less going on. The marshmallow is more straightforward here. It lasts quite a while. I still smell it on my clothes after a shift at work, albeit a weak trail of what it once was. The first fresh sprays are divine, and the scent sits close to your skin, making it perfect for anyone who wants a fun scent without bothering coworkers in an office. I could justify using this year-round. The citrusy scent of the the cloudberries and orange make it a neat summer addition, the sweet warmth of the marshmallow makes it perfect for cold months. While this may not be everyone's cup of tea, it's certainly mine. I didn't truly like a single perfume from the Oakcha gourmand collection, except for this one. UPDATE: IT TOOK ME MONTHS TO NOTICE MY BOTTLE IS SPELLED INCORRECTLY AS "MARSHAMALLOW MIST"???? HOW DID I NOT SEE THIS?? I ordered directly from their site...

This is REALLY pretty! Very soft, sitting close to the skin. If you have ever smelled Philosophy's Falling In Love (one of my FAVES before it was reformulated to shreds), this reminds me of a lighter version of that with Marshmallow added to it. I think spraying it on clothes would be much better & even when you can't smell it anymore, others can. I do not see how anyone would not love this. You have to appreciate it for what it is, b/c it is not a strong scent. A stronger "Intense" version would be nice tho OAKCHA! Can we give them props for their atomizers??? Reminds me of Jousset's. Beautiful. YUM! I saw this referenced below to smell like Unicorn Fruit. I do not see that & I have had that one since it came out. They might be in the same scent group, but they do not smell alike, in case anyone wasn't crazy about that one. It sits just "Somewhere" in my collection TBH. I wanna carry MM with me everywhere!!! this perfume opens with a strong yet wonderful citrus smell, star anise too. a few moments after you get the marshmallow, this follows into the heart notes where the marshmallow gets even stronger !! the caramel is strong yet i get floral from this perfume, that may be the honeysuckle piercing through, as it dries down it smells like musk and caramel together, really beautiful perfume!!! i will say i was a little disappointed at the fact that this ISN’T a sickly sweet marshmallow (im a big fan of very sweet perfumes..) but i really appreciate that its a bit more mature, definitely a good going out scent that most people will like, its definitely sweet but not overly girly and out there ! TLDR: great perfume for the cute girls wanting a more mature, subtle girly scent <3

Hmmm...I thought I left a review for this icon when I received it last year! I absolutely love Oakcha and feel lots of their fragrances are criminally underrated, especially this baddie. ‘Marshmallow Mist’ is the velvety smooth spun sugary base of ‘Praise the Perfume’ minus the bright red berries up front. Love the balance the citrus and soft spices bring to the dense sweetness. When this first arrived I thought it was quite close to YBM, but I dont get that at all anymore. Honestly, I fully prefer this to YBM and the multiple impressions of the DNA. If I was to draw a resemblance to anything, this kinda reminds my nose of the new ‘La Vie Est Belle Vanille Nude’ flanker without the luxurious floral accents. 🤠

This is a lovely, delicious marshmallow fragrance. It has an edible sweetness without being too strong or cloying. It's fun, feminine, and yummy. In my opinion, this is a good all-year fragrance. Suitable for day and night, though leaning heavier towards day. I was a little hesitant to buy it at first because musk is listed as a base note, and I hate musk. (Like I literally cannot emphasize enough just how strongly I hate musk.) But the musk in this fragrance is nearly undetectable to me! Yay!

I bought this on tictok when Oakcha was live and doing a flash sale. Daniel Rene recommends this and it has the notes that I enjoy, musk, marshmallows, anise, ect, so I decided to buy it. This is lovely! Fruity, sweet, musky goodness! It's not complex and sometimes I just want a pretty, simple scent. There is something comforting and cozy about it too. I think this will be wonderful in the summer.

This is like a close cousin of Kilian's Princess. They share the same delicate, heavenly marshmallow followed up with a sweet citrus in the background. Unfortunately, they also share the same lack of projection. This lasts, but sits very close to the skin. I truly do love it though. It's divine.

I don’t really smell the marshmallow; it has a very citrusy scent at first, almost throwing me off because I was expecting a very sweet fragrance. However, that sweet orange was ripened before the time. After a couple of minutes, it becomes sweeter. I don’t agree with the musty smell, but it definitely has a strange smell on my skin—sweet but with something else I can’t quite put my finger on. If you expect marshmallow to hit you in the face like I did, this is not the right fragrance for you. I think it would be best for a picnic. Edit after 5 hours in my skin: I used it at a reunion with friends, and after 5 hours, I still smell it. It has turned into a sweet smell, very vanilla. It reminds me more of marshmallow. I LOVE how it smells right now. I wish that this was the top note as well, but I got a compliment minutes after spraying it, so it was a win in my books 🥰

Not what I was expecting, but nice. The Marshmallow doesn't come in until the drydown but once it's there you get it. It more citrus and powder so I do see the comparisons to Praise the Perfume. But I also get sweet citrus which kind of reminds me of 000 by Le Monde Gourmand, or Light Blue Summer Vibes By Dolce and Gabbana. It's pretty but if you are expecting a yum boujie Marshmallow dupe this isn't it.

A super simple sweet fragrance. One of my favorites from this brand. It's got a nice slightly citrus open that dries down into a warm vanilla/marshmallow scent.

This is just okay and I don't see how a man could wear this because it only smells like a woman perfume

A very light frosty, powdery marshmallow with a hint of wood. Definitely leans female.

Musky, slightly citrusy and fruity, but the fruitiness sadly fades after about 3 minutes. I would say the musk is a lot stronger than the marshmallow. It’s a bit head ache inducing as the musk and citrus are quite sharp to my nose. I don’t get any star anise or milk, and both the caramel and vanilla are pretty faint. Has moderate sillage and lasts all day. In terms of perfumes listed as similar— ❌ BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar: a warm coconutty vanilla, no fruitiness or citrus ❌ Billie’s Eilish: a light, grassy vanilla ❌ Oakcha Praise the Perfume: much woodier and not as musky or citrusy ❌ Zara Marshmallow Addiction: much more floral and fruity

I was very excited to receive this fragrance, but was unfortunately disappointed with the results. To me, It doesn't at all give "marshmallow". Its very musky. Im not totally sure what star anise is, but after reading the description of the note, that could be the note that ruins the whole scent for me. (I absolutely despise licorice-like scents) However, Lemon Cake by oakcha gives exactly what I expected Marshmallow Mist to smell like. The dry down is so creamy and delicious, and it's only for the first half hour It smells like lemons. So I'd definitely recommend Lemon Cake over Marshmallow Mist

Honestly, I thought this was Praise the Perfume when I smelled it. It smells very similar, but I think it is more powdery and less fruity. For some reason Marshmallow Mist has a slight chemically scent to me, I'm not sure why. I opened day 2 of the Oakcha advent calendar and this was the perfume of the day. It is safe to say that I am glad I have a little bottle instead of having bought the big one, which I almost bought. This scent profile is up my alley too, I am a bit disappointed.

Smells like a citrus cleaning Supply like pinesol or something 6/10. Not really marshmallow, it smells like sweet sugar lemons.

I am really glad this was a sample only because this is NOT good on me. I'm not a big fan of marshmallow fragrances to begin with but that isn't even it. It smells like marshmallow for about 30 seconds then smells like lemons, spices, and sour milk. I had to scrub this one off. Yuck.

I really wanted to love this one but I really dislike it. It smells nothing like marshmallow to me and it’s very heavy on the musk. I ended up selling mine.

No projection. I dont smell the majority of the notes listed. Very weak fregrance. Dont waste your money
