Solution No.10

I couldn't find anything about this online and it just popped up out of nowhere the other day so I decided to order a bottle. I'm a big fan of Paperwork Solution 4 and the notes profile seemed in line with my taste so I felt it was a pretty safe bet. Really like this one from the first spray. It starts off musky but over time it rounds out a bit, still with the musk but a bit more green and fresh. It sits pretty close on the skin so projection isn't too great, but if you're looking for something more subtle that shouldn't be an issue. It's refined and comforting without being overbearing, especially in the dry-down where the wood comes out and sort of reminds me of a coastal forest (probably from the sea salt). There's definitely a clean laundry vibe too. This could be used on many occasions, maybe not a winter scent as I normally go for something more spicy/dark, but other than that it would probably work wherever whenever. Bottle design is amazing, and the 50ml keeps everything much more in proportion than the 100ml Paperwork bottles with the giant red top. Slightly tempted to put this as a new favourite in my collection. I love woody/green scents and this one is a safe and solid option. I usually use CDG Wonderwood for those occasions, but this will be my new alternative. There's nothing too mind-blowing or adventurous about it, but it smells good. My one criticism is I think the projection could be slightly better.

I got this in an off-white cracker, heavily discounted, and I’m very impressed by Solution 10. The dry down is salty, marine, musky to my nose, it is addictive - I find myself smelling my arm frequently when I wear it. Performance and projection are moderate but I’m good with that for this scent profile. It’s versatile but I tend to use it during the daytime and I think I’d be happy with it all year round.

This kinda smells like salt water and chlorine, very synthetic but somehow I like it? Really interesting. Wasn’t expecting to like something from this brand but I dig this one.

Very unique, the opening is sooo salty, smells like salty air near the ocean, Its not for everyone, the dry down is actually nice, musky and a hint of cardamon

I find a lot of Off-White fragrances to be a little ‘meh’ but this one is surprisingly evocative. Marine heavy musk, which dare I say, I prefer to Oud Minerale. Only a safe buy if you like marine fragrances, but if you’re into that excellent note then fill your boots!

Strange. Complex. Unpleasant cold opening followed by a warmer musky drydown, only to be burdened by the same cold accord later. Intriguing but for me, unwearable. Returned my bottle.

Fresh vanilla with a bit of salty. Much more vanilla than salt to my nose so to me it smells closer to stuff like Armani Bleu Turquoise or JHAG Vanilla Vibes than to Acqua di Sale or Sel Marin. It smells nice and it's a popular DNA these days but I feel like if you have one fragrance like this then you don't need another.

Might be too salty and offensive for some but, I don’t mind it. If you like aquatic ones give it a try
