Stallion Soul Eau de Parfum

Lovely scent during all its "performances". My favourite act was the leather, which was on scene during the first 30 min. Afterwards is mainly floral and powdery.

Smooth leather with rose florals. Deeply sophisticated without smelling screechy. Has a mysterious and sensual feel to it. One of my favorites from this house

#1459 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is my first Ojar scent decant and I really like it. Most orientals that have all or many of these notes seem to reflexively throw in citrus, usually bergamot, which takes away from an otherwise nice incense and leather vibe that is accentuated here by the cypriol. I've not gotten around to Emper "Stallion 53" so no verdict on that one being similar. The most similar scents I've tried are Orto Parisi "Cuoium", Anatole Lebreton "Grimoire", Herrera's "Platinum Leather." I like this a lot, but I prefer the "Cuoium" to this, and even the way more animalic Nishane "Afrika Oliphant" to "Cuoium." But I doubt most women will go for those strong masculine scents, and for men that prefer not to be taken to the woodshed, this is a fine leather option, moderate performance, safe for most any use, and something leathery to wear without being yet another Tuscan Leather or Ombre Leather dupe. But if you're on a budget, want leather, don't need a churchy incense note, and haven't tried a $25 bottle of Rayhaan "Dark Leather", you might want to give that a go first. This Ojar scent is well over $100, so get a decant and try before you buy.

I got this as a free gift. Instantly reminded me of Dior Fahrenheit; there is that similar gasoline like scent in the opening to this, both have that leather & violet note. However, this goes into the background quite quickly. I really have to doubt there is real oud in this, it seems they have tried to create a slight funky oud with other notes. Overall, very green & floral. I actually don't mind this.

wow.....I try to avoid violet at all cost as it just tents to smell obnoxious and overwhelming sometimes, but Stallion Soul is the 'IT' violet fragrance to go for. And its also the first violet scent in my collection that I would love to smell especially on a gentleman. So highly addictive, sensual, chic smelling. I love it doesn't have this vioelt powdery rose old school scent. Pure perfection

Smells sort of like a smoother, less potent Maison Crivelli Oud Stallion, with the rose/floral notes more forward in the opening with Stallion Soul, whereas, with Oud Stallion, they take a back seat to the strong leather and oud notes.

I find it heavily floral and animalic. A bit like how I wish a rose smelt. I can't quite decide if I like it or not.
