Wood Whisper Eau de Parfum

I’m captivated by the enchanting whispers of ‘Wood Whisper’ by @ojarofficial crafted by the master perfumer Jordi Fernandez. True to its name, this is a soft fragrance that is cozy and comforting. It makes its presence felt in gentle wafts and soft whispers each time you pass by or when someone hugs you. If ”quiet luxury” was a perfume, this would be it . It has made its way into my husband’s favourite fragrances as well. In fact, while it smells lovely on me, it smells absolutely, sensuously amazing on my husband! My nose can’t really pick up the plum notes though I do get a bit of the violet, but I definitely get the warmth of sandalwood a bit of vanilla and more of the sensual amber and musk. When I wear Wood Whisper, I feel like I’m cocooned in a cozy, woody-musky embrace. 🍂💫 What I love most about this, besides the fact that it is totally unisex, is that it is available as an Oil Mist, EDP and Perfume Oil so that you can layer the fragrance for better longevity.

Pafory Advent Calendar 2025 – Day 17 First impression: One spray in and I’m already leaning closer. Rose and plum, but softened - never loud, never syrupy. Powdered, gently sweet, and surprisingly calm. It feels intentional, measured, composed. As it opens, sandalwood, violet, and cashmere wood take over. The violet blooms with restraint - no vintage fuss, no sharp edges - while the sandalwood brings a steady, comforting warmth. The whole heart feels serene and grounded, almost meditative. The drydown is where it settles into itself: clean, cosy, and warm. White amber, vanilla, and musk, underpinned by an earthy, slightly salty ambergris hum. Nothing dramatic, nothing abrasive - just smoothness and quiet confidence. It doesn’t announce itself. It whispers. It lingers. It invites you in. Full review to follow. Absolutely in love with this fragrance. It is a gorgeous sandalwood blend. Starts of a bit peppery to my nose but minutes later transforms into a beautiful sweet but not overly sweet softly sandalwood cloud with some floral accents. The violet adds powder and the plum sweetness. It evolves beautifully on my skin , it has no rough edges and it never overwhelmed my senses even when I over sprayed it. I would say it leans more feminine due to it’s softness and cloud like texture. I also find it similar to zadig en voltaire this is her but it doesn’t have the heavy synthetic undertone and it is considerably better constructed.

Sandalwood is central here, combined with cashmere woods, musks, elusive florals, and ambergris—smelling smooth, seasoned, sweet, and velvety with a lush floral texture. It's unisex, but leans more towards the feminine side. It’s not cloying, as it has a certain maturity. Up top, you get rose and plum, which aren't distinctive to my nose, but rather create a soft, jammy layer in a red or purple hue. Underneath that, the woods are dry; more calming, giving the right amount of balance to the sweetness.

Tested this in the shop tonight and I thought it was beautiful. I love sandalwood and this is a creamy sandalwood with a purple tinge (violet and plum). Not a loud fragrance, but I was catching whiffs for a few hours after. This is very cozy and fluffy.

Soft and cosy olfactory blanket, reminds me of mysterious, sweet incense, never overpowering, moderate and comforting in all aspects, suitable for any weather and time.

A warm unisex perfume. A perfect balance between sandalwood and cashmere, a nice scent for cold days. Cosy and cocooning, like a scarf. I love it for winter.

Bath & Body had a release called secret woods, I still own it, compared with this hand to hand, they are almost identical.

The opening hits with a mix of woods, plum, and a touch of sweetness, wrapped in a noticeable powdery tone. Right away, it leans more mature, carrying an “mature” vibe. But not older like tobacco and leather older, more like powder room, (this isn't bad just a bit mature and sophisticated. ) As it settles, the amber, vanilla, and violet start to take over, creating a warmer, smoother base. The dry down feels cozy and balanced. Think clean, warm, woody. Like walking in the park in spring but it’s a bit chilly and you want something soft and sweet. It’s very creamy woody. To me, this works best in fall or spring...perfect for a rainy day, reading, or studying. That said, it’s versatile enough to wear year-round. Could be pulled off on a date-night or just casually. Very versatile frag. Performance is strong, with excellent longevity and noticeable projection in the first couple of hours before it sits closer to the skin. Overall, while I appreciate the quality and craftsmanship, it’s a bit feminine. Personally I love this as it gives a sweet chill vibe. It goes great with my natural skin scent. If you’re not into unisex, woody, sweater-weather scents, this one probably won’t be for you. For me it smells quality and I can appreciate that and as a collector it’s a great addition. I don't have anything else that smells similar. Update: this is an ADDICTIVE smell. One that is so smooth you just wanna keep taking a sniff. Really great! 8/10

Niche December Contestant 17: I'm split. I really like the scent, the slightly fruity opening and the beautiful wood-amber-vanilla drydown is hard to beat. Longevity is amazing, projection is great. But it did cause a slight unpleasant headache today. The scent is MUCH better up close than its sillage. Don't know what else to add. 7/10, would've been more if not for the headache part.

On paper this is quite nice - a very photorealistic plum note (one of the best I smelled) on top of soft, sweetened woodiness. On skin though the screechy ambroxan base completely takes over, leaving only cashmeran still detectable. After half an hour or so the ambroxan mellows out a bit and sandalwood and vanilla become noticeable, but that hyper-synthetic opening lasts too long to make it worth waiting for that stage.

Ha! This is Arabian Oud's Jabal Tamya 1:1! Exact copy!! Not sure why Fragrantica don't have it in its database but Parfumo does. Loool, i'm not surprised since they're both Arabian scents but it's one of the best fragrances you'll ever smell. Has that mountain, pink pepper, whip cream, vanilla I can't even fully describe it. I don't know where those notes on this site came from but just look up Jamal Tamya. Amazing looking bottle but uhhh yeah it'll cost you. Like this one it's not a cheap fragrance but what you get is an extremely unique scent with crazy performance. That's really where the price comes from, I'm not exaggerating when I say this but if you spray it on you it'll last about 16 hours on your skin. It doesn't project out because it was designed to be an intimate scent. Anyone who gets into your 2 feet bubble becomes a victim. If you spray it on your clothes IT'LL LAST 2 MONTHS! That can be a good or bad thing depending on how often you like trying out new fragrances. You're also paying for the quality of this fragrance; you can see the heavy oil content on your skin. I like this a lot, smells like a niche version of This Is Love by Zadig & Voltaire. Not exactly the same but definitely has a similar vibe but this is blended better and has phenomenal lasting power and silage. I’m impressed with the quality of this house so far. This doesn’t feel screechy like this is love and doesn’t have that ginger in it that I didn’t enjoy. Again, it’s not a dupe but it just has a similar vibe to it, has to be from the violet and sandalwood aspects of the two fragrances. Referring to the reminds me of section: This does not smell anything close to Santal 33, I have no idea why someone would even vote that haha I own that one too and enjoy it but definitely not similar at all.

Whisper of woods on a breezy day. I dont think you can overstay this. Just a dry wood, light spicy, hint of fruit and florals. This is an office safe scent that goes on light but actually lasts. I'm a fan of woods so this is fantastic to me. Definitely an all season frag. 3rd of the house I've reviewed and its becoming a reliable house for lovely smells. This smells like a less creamy and lactonic version of ZV This is Her and more similar to Zara Fields at Nightfall. Both are incredibly cheaper but with slightly less performance.. I love this scent profile as I love a cozy sandalwood. But all 3 are similar enough that you don't need to be crazy like me and have all 3. Such a comforting scent - I love it a lot.

An immediate NO for me. Agree with the person who said it’s loud and nauseating. Sniffed some samples blindly and with this one I wrote down: strong, milky sandalwood, perfumey, This is Her with florals? It nauseates me immediately. But take my review with a grain of salt because I’m not the biggest sandalwood and floral lover.

I can see why it’s compared to this is her. They smell somewhat similar but at the same time they’re different. This is her is milky sandalwood. Wood whisper, while creamy isn’t milky. I get some of the plum and violet in the opening, and once it dries down it’s heavier on the sandalwood and ambergris. Performance is excellent.

A better quality This is Her! Z&V. Overall more pleasing and has a more natural feel to it. Only downside is on my skin it lasts 2 business minutes, but smells really nice, id definetely say its worth getting if it works on your skin.
