From website: Passionate top: bergamot, angelica, peppery rose Mysterious heart: orris, ambered frankincense Seductive base: ambrette seed, vanilla, patchouli Ambrette seems to be part of the dna of this house, and true to form it is very strong at the start, and thankfully calms down later on. The end result is a combo of ambrette, orris, incense, patchouli, and something sharp (can't place it but it could be angelica or pepper). It is a very pleasant combo and a quality fragrance with a solid performance. My only criticism is that it is not deep/rich enough as an 'oriental'. It feels more like an aromatic/floral composition. Still, worth exploring this house. Update: I think one should look at this as an incense perfume. As such, it is excellent.

This scent deserves a review & explanation for the down vote so here goes. Fun concept of scents based on personality, the packaging & bottle are beautiful and on spraying the fragrance it’s clear it’s good quality. The scent however is not for me. This isn’t just not my personality, this is stranger danger. It’s a heap of smoky spice in a bone dry desert. Not a flower, blade of grass or raincloud in sight. A place so hot & dry one snapping twig will ignite the whole thing. The website gives different notes than here—Passionate top: bergamot, angelica, peppery rose. Mysterious heart: orris, ambered frankincense. Seductive base: ambrette seed, vanilla, patchouli.—What I get is orris root, smoky frankincense & black (not pink) pepper, faint amber & patchouli peep through after 4+ hours. Definitely no bergamot, vanilla or rose. Layered with Tresor Midnight Rose it becomes less of a fire hazard, a spiced rose/orris with a woody backbone. Its strong, very long lasting & draws attention. Leans very masculine to me. Apparently smells different on everyone due to clever skin-reactive base notes, so hopefully it’ll get some love. I have a full bottle for swap, but first a glass of water...!
