Patchouli

@frankcrummit. Yes, these are all incense containing fragrances. But if you want that as the main note then you get Sacra, their fragrance focused on frankincense (olibanum). All the others are exploring how incense plays with (or underneath) another (more dominant) note. These are incense fragrances you can wear around and not offend people. As it dries down the patchouli gets a more earthy quality, almost like dried clay with a hint of chocolate. This is a delicious dry and powdery cocoa (the chocolate is dry and woody, not any sweetened confection). I’d liken it to opening a tin of bakers’ cocoa while sitting in church. You get overtones of old incense and woody pew. So cozy and easy to like. An approachable and unisex incense that seems perfect for cool weather evenings. The reminds me of LIDG without the anise. If you like that one then you’ll probably like this one.

One of the most incense heavy out of the brand honestly not as earthy or dark as I was expecting, very tame patchouli and a soft cacao but mostly get the frankincense base on this one pleasant nonetheless

Pleasant but thin incense-based fragrance: a crispbread spread with low-fat margarine, rather than freshly-baked wholegrain bread, spread with lashings of full-cream butter. Not satisfying or exciting. Very much just-OK.

Not a blind buy! Smells like stepping on soil nearby animal barn. Good idea to layer it with something Vanilla to tone down the earthy smell.
