Hmmm, what does it most smell like? Cheap scotch, bandaids or lysol? Right now I'd vote lysol. I'm normally willing to concede skin chemistry, personal taste, etc, but this stuff is just not good. It opens with a snort of ginger then settles into a weird sponge of fake sweetness and a distinctly medicinal smell. When I read "incense" as a note I expect the stuff that's burned in church, not the fake fruit stuff that's burned so your mom won't smell marijuana. Nope, no, no way on this one. Sillage: close, 1-2 ft Persistence: poor < 2 hours (thank god) Fabulosity: the drunk tank Value to price ratio: awful 1/10

This is not an incense scent. It is an aquatic with a bit of watery ginger to it. Skin scent. If you like aquatics, you will like it. I'm not a fan.

gin and tonic for me here. juniper and quinine where the bitterness embraces contradictory sweet elements. my father liked gin and this reminds me of him. bitter serious man smells, maybe stale tobacco, slightly urinous, unscented soap, metal, a little varnish, the garage at home when i was growing up. fairytale scary danger, however not in any way really frightening. and even though one might not notice it at first, there is a little flower underneath. violet shy. sweet incense. a mean saleslady at the department store downtown in the late 50's, not because she smelled like this, but because she looked like this. definitely black and white movie time, and inexpensive very used paperbacks in the bargain bin. 2.2.2021 wearing a second day in a row, this seems to become a little more herbal in addition of the mechanic mood of yesterday. the vegetal does not change the direction of the scent but adds an additional dimension, wild grasses. for me it is familiar and not unpleasant. garden chores, working in the garage, a little bit of sweat, old rags, sealed paint cans. not the stuff to wearing to the opera, but kinda cool nonetheless. maybe even an artist's studio. may 2021, it's in the bathroom now. what happened? affair over. leaving a bitter taste. life is too short for this.
