I have long been searching for a fragrance with a truly authentic character, one that speaks volumes without suffocating the space around it. Lighty floral, pinch of saffron, followed by a rugged leather sunbaked in a smoky spice-blend, with incense and patchouli. Dark, yet refined and clean enough for formal attire. The olibanum note itself (not the entire fragrance) is very similar in execution to Dawn by Frederic Malle. Agreed with c0rtland that different facets are always manifesting, leading to a mysteriously pleasing journey throughout its wear. Superstar.

Beautiful rose-jasmine-frankincense-spices-leather-and hints of Oud blend. The leather in the dry down enveloped in olibanum and slightly dirty patchouli but sweetness of praline is extremely well done. Arguably the best from the house and has similar DNA to Dead of Night but is sweeter, fresher and airier than the latter. Above average performance. Clearly unisex. Shukran Habibi!

Inspired by the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Serenity is grace personified. It opens with rose and saffron, noble and luminous. The heart of cumin, carnation, cedar, and jasmine is complex and refined — spiced yet serene. The base of leather, oud, patchouli, olibanum, musk, and praline is where the divine meets the sensual. A fragrance that elevates every moment into meditation.

here is a scent that is hard to put your finger on. it's the type of scent that smells different everytime you put your nose on it. different facets of the smell pop out each time. the overall signature is there but it is always seen from a different angle, twinkling, not letting you pin it down. the notes jump around and remain interesting. a dancing glimmering scent.

This is such a beautiful and unique fragrance. Truly the embodiment of luxury. The dry down on this fragrance leaves the most incredible trail of leather and oud with the hint of rose and saffron. This is the kind of fragrance that elevates your mood and really makes you feel something grand. Stunning fragrance.

Serenity! What a blast of Oud, Rose and Saffron in the opening! This is probably my favorite from Oman luxury, if you like leather fragrances then Serenity is a must try. 10/10 from me

I see this compared to Oud Wood intense and Kilian Pure Oud, both of which I have tried. Oud Wood Intense I tried many years ago when it was sold retail and not yet discontinued. I don't remember specifics about it except that I didn't like it. Kilian Pure Oud I had a pretty decent sized decant of, and I remember it vividly. It smelled like a industrial chemical fire. This one however, is a different ballgame. It smells like high quality ingredients and does not give me a headache. The saffron and to a lesser extent rose top notes are clear and very nice. The cloves are not overdone and serve to add some spice. I don't get praline thankfully.The full drydown is a slightly animalic , slightly smokey oud and leather. I'm exploring this house through a discovery set and so far I'm impressed with their work. None so far feel too synthetic and they're using good quality natural ingredients. This one is a night out scent and may be challenging if you're used to western leather scents like for example, ombre leather. Still testing, but I'm enjoying this one so far.

This stuff is STRONG. Like, probably the strongest fragrance I have ever tried. I have Dead of Night, so I am familiar with it, and I disagree that the 2 are similar. Anyway, I got a sample of this with another order. I decided just to try it out, not look up notes or anything about it first. Immediately I knew this was a leather scent, with saffron, rose, and Oud. It’s intense. I do think it smells good, definitely not a synthetic smelling scent, but it’s certainly masculine. I’ve been wearing it about an hour at this point and it’s calmed down a little, but still a beast. Serenity is a frag for a confident man, it’s an evening scent or special occasion type in my opinion. This is also for experienced noses, because I don’t think this would be mass appealing to anyone not already experienced with heavy middle eastern fragrances and real oud. However, if you do like those types of scents I would say this one is a must try.

A very deep and dramatic fragrance... First of all, it's not sweet, there is praline in the notes, but I never felt it. If there is any sweetness, it's almost like a silhouette, something added to soften the scent. It starts with saffron, leather, rose and cumin, then cedarwood and agarwood. I found the cumin very irritating at first, I didn't like it at all because it's heavy and strange, like human sweat... The patchouli makes it stand out even more. After this phase, the perfume begins to soften. Saffron and leather come to the fore. The leather here is not harsh and unpleasant. It's an elegant and soft leather, not a leather that smells of tannery. What happens next is that the perfume captivates you. Very sensual and deep. As unpleasant as the beginning is, the drydown is just as seductive. Agarwood, leather and saffron stay with the fragrance. Slightly masculine. Long-lasting and intense.

The cumin makes it funky as hell but I like it, it’s not unbearable but it certainly will make its presence known. Other than that, it’s blended incredibly well with the other notes. Serenity smells similar to some of the quality oud mukhallats that are available in the Arab world and has a very oriental feel to it. It is probably the only one that I would consider buying from the Oman Luxury Limited Series.

Saffron - Leather - Cumin. Intensely animalic. Butch leather at the start. Cumin as we know it in the kitchen and not like the spiciness as we get from Habit Rouge or Spice Blend. Very close to Cuir Intense.

I’m liking the rose–saffron top notes. It’s a leather fragrance with a subtle rose–cumin combination. The scent profile feels very elegant, and the oud is subdued.

One of the most challenging fragrances from the house for me. It opens with a blend of rose and saffron, but very quickly the leather and cumin take over. The cumin here isn’t soft or blended it’s raw, spicy, and realistic, almost like the cumin you’d use in cooking. It gives the fragrance a very animalic and dry character that can feel intense, especially in warm weather or when you’re around food, as those notes tend to amplify. The leather is smooth yet dominant, creating a bold contrast with the subtle florals that peek through now and then. Oud, incense, and praline are listed in the base, but they stay quietly in the background. The focus remains on that unique mix of leather and cumin. It’s not a gourmand, not sweet, and not your typical Middle Eastern oud scent. It’s raw, daring, and unapologetic definitely not for everyone. On the right skin and in the right setting, it can be powerful and magnetic, but for me, it’s more of a scent to admire than to wear often. On me, the smell changes to oud and cloves with a zing of something almost like a herbal oil. I’d be quite interested to know who could wear and pull this off.

Not my favorite, but I can understand why people like it. I've realized I can't stand cumin in a lot of fragrances; I find that it often smells like super spicy curry. It settles down after an hour or two, but I felt that the opening isn't worth going through to get to the dry-down.

Consistently draws me in, then slaps me. Not actually super similar to Ombré Nomade, but in the same space. Ultra-spicy and leathery, it’s just a bit too punishing for me to use realistically.

Too offbeat scent...its leathery and spicy at same time with animalistic feel. Not for faint hearts. Leather is too prominent. Cumin, clove, cedar is secondary player and oud is in background. But leather is overpowering through out. Can wear only in very low temperature. Its not recommended for even very experienced nose also.

Absolutely not my thing. Its heavy saffron/burned rubber/ leathery and spicy with animalistic notes. All the other notes are overwhelmed by this saffron/leather combo. Typical Middle eastern oud/saffron/spicy and rose scent. Sample before buying.

Are you kidding me? This is extremely heavy and suffocating—the complete opposite of what the name suggests.

Serenity is well-balanced work goes to a spicy leathery aromatic blend. The equilibrium showed in the opening voyage due to the natural rose and the saffron's collision with the Jasmine. Those notes came on the top-mid ending then it turned to a spectacular fresh leathery spicy through a well crafted accord, reminding that view from one of the old château's balcony in the renaissance days. The leather accord continues to blossom in the mid-base step, along with the resinous aromatics, the oud is not too recognized a part from its last whiffs, attached to some rose nuances with resines. The musk accord gently placed to guarantee the maximum staying of the whole blend, but also to let immerse the wearable deeply into a clean vibe. The surprise may come at the finish with a smart appearance of the Cumin. Sincerely, it's an easy-to-wear and the most transparent fragrance in the collection, safely created to please all genders. The performance is average to some, to me is what it must be taken in consideration in every perfume "Amouage's Jubilation 25" style. Serenity could be best enjoyed in spring/summer days. The technical work done here reminds me of some Memo brand releases with fewer gymnastics. ★★★★★

Serenity is a Oriental Woody Floral Leather Spicy Aromatic fragrance unisex. Serenity has a spicy floral start with saffron and cumin intertwined with a delicious bouquet of rose and jasmine. It continues to advance and becomes a predominantly incense-woody perfume with an excellent dry oud, the famous Oman incense, woods and patchouli. And yet it doesn't become a heavy dense perfume which makes it more versatile. Towards the drydown, a very affable leather starts to stand out. Serenity is basically an ‘Oud/Rose/Leather fragrance. It is a MUKHALLATH(Blend) fragrance with a typical aroma used daily by the Arabs of the KHALIJ(Gulf) region, very elegant and with a lot of quality. Woody Spicy Perfume Leather ‘Oud and Rose.

This is my initial impression. I was excited when i saw its notes - rose, saffron, agarwood, leather and resins but all my excitement disappeared when i sniffed it. Initially I got some saffron, cloves and lot of cumin then potency of cumin gradually reduces at this point I could smell only blend of saffron and cumin along w some leather at background. I did not get any resins, rose and agarwood. Do sample it first before buying. Longevity is good easy 10+ hours. I could smell it on my wrist even next morning. I would spend some more time w it and later try to provide more details.

Ive had serenity, for some months now and i do enjoy using it in the colder weather...serenity is definitly not for everyone. If you into rose, oud and leather its for you. For my nose i get this burned vibe from it, very smokey. At drydown you can really get the mild rose and oud in the smoke which personally i love...now most people hate leather, however serenity has this smooth leather note but still a tiny bit dirty to it. scent: 9 bottle: 8 sillage: 9

Take PdM Godolphin, drench it in gasoline, drag it on asphalt then store it in a dark, smoky place. Or can be also the dark cousin of TF TL. I am stunned. Btw I yet to discover Dead of Night vibes but let’s see.

To me, Serenity smells like PdM Godolphin, but better and stronger. It has the oriental style over the smell of leather. After you will try this, you will never buy Godolphin again.
