006 Jeju Island

I don't feel like this fragrance represents Jeju, one google search will tell you that Jeju is known for its tangerines. It is a lovely bright circuit perfume but it is missing the sweetness that Jeju is known for.

I detect a surprisingly strong toasty, “brown” note in the opening that is keeping the entire composition from feeling fresh and green. The toastiness is gone after half an hour or so, but then what I’m left with is like fresh cut grass with basil, white musk, and an indolic white floral that leans soapy. It’s giving me classic Italian cologne.

For how simple this is I really love it. It feels like crisp air and sunshine, even though there's what feels like a very mild chypre hiding underneath. Cool, floral, and radiant, with a very natural-smelling freshness. The tea note gives it a slight texture and earthiness that sits just right with me. The citrus feels very well formed as well. There's a bit of sour greenery, a light juiciness mixed with bitter rinds, something that could border on fresh herbs...Luckyscent has more notes listed that include tomato leaf, grapefruit, basil, orange blossom and moss. I'm picking up the moss a bit and feel like it stabilizes and supports the bitter citrus that otherwise feels clear and cleansing and high-pitched.

it‘s decent, but i‘d find this more fitting as a hand soap or hotel-esque air freshener than a perfume
