There’s a slickness here that exists in the realm of “soapy” but with the highest of accolades. The way a professional cleaning product with a mandatory MSDS promises to remove a stain or stink where typical home products fall short — Jasmine Tea puts an end to your pursuit of a pungent jasmine fragrance in one fell swoop. Layering this with Le Labo’s Another 13 drives this haute-couture janitorial image home. If Another 13 is John Galliano then Jasmine Tea is Pat McGrath. The combination transforms me into Gwendoline Christie walking Margiela's SS24 show--- a masculine femininity--- a seven-foot china doll. It’s also worth mentioned what an amazing effort One Day put into their packaging. The lid to this bottle is MAGNETIC — which I have never encountered before. The atomizer is like a mechanical sneeze— brisk and mighty, almost aerosolized. The bottle comes nestled in a dense-foam-filled box immune to the indifference of USPS couriers. Jasmine Tea is a force of nature. One Day substantiates the belief that a little flower can leave a large impact and pays homage to its role in the millennia-long relationship humans have shared with tea. This fragrance gave me confidence through beauty and I walked around the city shedding a collective memory to strangers in passing. Easiest blind buy ever.

I recently bought some makeup from Victoria Beckham and I got two of their perfume samples (Portofino & Rêverie). I immediately tested Rêverie on my skin, liked it, and I was happy (and a bit sad because it's too expensive!). What made me even happier was that a lady stopped me in a grocery store and asked me what perfume I was wearing because I smelled lovely. I don't get much compliment about my scents so I answered in a very awkward manner and we exchanged goodbyes. THEN I CAUGHT A WHIFF. A whiff that was so stunning and ethereal that it actually stunned me. It was coming from that lady. I had to chase her and ask the same question. Ultra mortified but I'm glad I did. She told me she was wearing Jasmine Tea from One Day. I couldn't stop thinking about the scent ever since. It was like the scent had invaded my brain. It kept telling me that I needed it, it was the only thing I need in my life.... So I caved in and bought a full bottle without even testing it on my skin. No regrets. This is a nostalgia in a bottle. A beautiful nostalgia that reminds me of memories I never actually lived yet so real, heartbreaking and beautiful. It's so so peaceful and calm but at the same time turbulent to me also, as if I'm sensing the storm coming on the calmest day. It doesn't last so long on the skin but lingers well in the hair and on the clothes. Definitely one of those "signature-worthy" scents. Love love love this one.

I wore Jasmine Tea on a trip into the mountains with my mother and dog. We went in search of fall colors before the leaves began to drop. I brought my sample with me on a whim, and splashed some on my wrist as we rolled through a swath of open fields. To my right, I saw a pregnant woman in a long dress, kissing one horse in a field of horses, a dog at her feet. On my skin, Jasmine Tea opens with a bubblegum blast of jasmine, hot pink and giggling. This was unexpected, and not what I had remembered from the time I had worn it once before. It made me think instantly of Diptyque Olène; in other words, a Bridgerton floral. After awhile, it became more herbaceous, and only more magical. Clary sage is a scent that has entranced me since I was young and playing around in my hippie mom’s Burt’s Bees cosmetics, and it’s soapy and delicious here. My experience with Jasmine Tea is very clean and crystalline, a bit more iced tea than hot. I remembered trying a perfume of a similar idea, The Point, which had a bad effect on my life for the few hours I could smell it. Something about it made me feel like I was standing in a dirty parking lot overlooking the ocean. Churning, moody, rancid. Anyway. No need to gossip. Whatever is dirty in The Point is clean in Jasmine Tea; maybe it’s the porcelain?

this. this is so good. i'm usually left a little wanting when it comes to most tea scents — i have an unfortunate love for weird photorealistic fragrances that smell Exactly Like What They're Describing. so when i first got a whiff of jasmine tea, i was in love. it opens with very strong bittery, tannin-y(?) tea leaves, and the jasmine seems to float along beautifully, enveloping me in a scent that smells exactly like a cup of jasmine tea that was oversteeped just a little. this is so fucking good. this is like crack to me. i don't even care that i sneeze uncontrollably when i first spray it. when you're in it for the love of the game, you're in it forever. or whatever socrates said idk it's an incredibly light, refreshing scent! after it dries down, i definitely feel like it gets sweeter. not to an overbearing amount — like adding a single cube of sugar. i find that it loses the strong tea leaf smell the longer its' worn, but you can still tell it is A Tea... if that makes sense. Lol. it has just Ok longevity, sitting at around 3-6 hours on my skin, but if you spray it on your clothes, it'll last the whole day! so do that 👍 overall rating: 10/10 — i just spilled actual jasmine tea on myself and can barely tell the difference 🐦🍵

If you are looking for something that smells similar to hot jasmine tea, there is no way you are going to be able to find something more realistic than this. The same word keeps popping up. Realistic. I see it so often that I thought people were getting paid to say it by the company. But it's true. I drink jasmine tea almost every day and this fragrance is literally spraying jasmine tea on your body. Yes there are other elements that heighten the experience, but it is more like the experience of an expensive jasmine tea with rare ingredients than it is having elements that don't belong added to the fragrance itself. It's not simple, it's just been edited as it should be. Anyone who's been trained expertly in design and art understands the concept of editing down. That concept has been done here to perfection. There's nothing more to say. This is perfection when it comes to Jasmine tea as a fragrance. Something like this is what makes me want to continue in my collecting. Fragrances like this don't come around often and don't stay. The ingredients are evasive I'm sure and are Essential. I suggest we all purchase it now while it's still here.
