Bittersweet lovers rejoice. The cleanest coffee-toned scent I’ve encountered. Bitter roast beans melt into bergamot-varnished cedar. There’s dark chocolate and chilled cream too. Despite all the cocoa and coffee, everything about it feels airy and cool. A true unisex, handsomely androgynous. Primo tier scent for rainy day reading or art gallery wandering. Its only sin is its longevity, though I was still able to catch whispers of baritone bergamot throughout the day. Mental Snapshot: Your drink of choice is drip coffee. Your go-to fit is a wool trench and kid leather gloves. Your ASMR is art restoration videos. Your dream house is Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater. Your sun is in Capricorn. I can’t believe this isn’t more hyped up. I had the most delightful experience smelling coffee fragrances at Ministry of Scent in Pacific Heights - San Francisco. I went in already well acquainted with the major options and felt certain I’d be walking away with either Followed by Kerosene or Akro Awake - both great but this was exactly what I was looking for. Sweet, warm, bold, and calming. Like a specialty latte in the snow. It’s actually a lot like Commodity Book if that perfume had coffee and hot chocolate notes. I might have never discovered it had the incredible staff not pointed me to it. I highly recommend visiting the store if you love niche perfumery and picking up a sample of this one if you love coffee scents.

my mom sent me this from hk and upon seeing the bottle i totally was not expecting to be kicked in the nose with espresso. definitely not complaining though, it’s a comforting scent, like you’re sitting by a rain covered window eating a croissant and drinking a coffee! so delicious

Very nice! You can really smell the bitterness of freshly brewed coffee and the cacao is not a fudgy sweet chocolate, but instead it’s like a dusting of cocoa powder on the top of your latte. The cedar really comes through in the dry down and gives this cozy and warm woodiness. This is like walking into the most posh coffee shop in the city in the middle of autumn. I don’t find that it projects very far or wears very long, it behaves more like a skin scent.

Strong chocolate and coffee notes with this, reminds me of a cosy Korean bakery with fresh coffee and croissants. Strong projection and I tend to overspray and this it does have a far outreach. Lasting power isn't the greatest on skin but on clothes it's decent.
