You & I

I'd received this perfume as a Christmas gift the year it was released & was so pleased! As a 21 year old who's a dedicated fan since day one, you can't help but love anything these lads make! BUT! When it comes down to reality I was honestly taken aback by this perfume. IN A POSITIVE WAY! Once I unboxed it, immediately without exaggeration, the perfumes fumes released & let me just say it now. It's a pleasing, fruity/ floral scent, with a little sensuality to it, If you know what I mean... Ladies.... Guys... As I finally held the bottle, the first thing you notice is a somewhat detailed charm. It can be worn as a ring or a charm in a chain, and only just now did I realise it has One Direction engraved onto the top of the ring band which I thought was pretty neat. The lads are always appreciative of their successful journey with the help of their amazingly unbelievably passionative fans, and with that being said, there's also a quaint note from the band themselves inside the box!!! Back to the perfume, however, the bottle is shaped in a Pentagon like shape & on it's side is the perfumes name, You & I, along with the band's name in gold lettering. Unlike their last two fragrance's bottles, You & I is not a painted or artificially colored colored bottle. The liquid gives it's bottle a lovely light pinkish purplish hue. It uncaps & caps very easily which is a little bit upsetting. First spraying it, you instantly smell pure florals & fruits, which are the Top & Mid notes, of course, which mainly consists of Peach Blossom, Peony, Orchid, and Mango. Of course as it sets and sits, the Dry notes do finally kick fully in & you begin to get more of the Sandalwood, Praline and musk. This scent is youthful & sweet, I'm a very masculine type of girl who greatly prefers musky, vanilla, spicy, earthy, woodsy scents but even this perfume is surprsingly & greatly to my liking AND ITS NOT BECAUSE ITS FROM ONE DIRECTION NOR FROM MY FAVORITE BAND. You & I usually lasts for about 1 - 2 hours with a moderate sillage. It's also a scent that I think can & should be worn all year round BUT I know because it's a sweet floral & fruity perfume, it's preferably worn in Spring, perhaps even Summer. You & Ii, in my opinion, once again, CAN be worn for both day & night!!! It's a perfume you can wear first thing you wake up, BUT CAN also be worn out for girls night out with your girlfriends EVEN a date nightnighy, whether It's a casual date or intimate date, with your boyfriend!!!! BELIEVE ME! IT CAN!! It's excellent for day & night. This guy I'd been dating complemented You & I which says A LOT! Coming from a very manly and athletic/labor type of guy! So yes, this perfume DOES catch guy's attention & though it ONLY PURELY consists of fruity & florals it's still very impressive. Honestly I am in love with this perfume. It's one that will ALWAYS bring back memories & it makes for a lovely gift too. This perfume is one that can be worn for young teens maybe even young girls!! I am 21 & as said before, I do prefer stronger scents, this perfume is one I nonetheless still adore & wear for specific moments in my life.

I posted my review on this about five days ago, but as I just sprayed this a few minutes ago I realized I left something out of my review! CAN I JUST SAY HOW WEIRD THE COVER ON THIS BOTTLE IS AND THE BOTTLE ITSELF! So the bottle shape reminds me of those weird Dracula coffins you would see on TV, and the cover on this might as well not even be a cover. It really looks like an after thought on this, almost as if they got to the top of the bottle and thought "damn, totally forgot we need a cover for this" I need someone else on here to tell me they also find it so ridiculous, and random. Anyone else think so then message me lol please confirm I'm not crazy!! Lol

I found a 20mls bottle of this at Walmart for 7.99 today. I had smelled it before and really wanted it so yay for the find today :) I love this! To me it kind of smells like a scent escada does yearly-you know the kind!!!! That super sweet in a not sickly kind of way, that tropical beach weather type scent. This is one I actually REALLY love. I'm so shocked its from a boy band....actually I'm mortified lol its not something I ever would have thought could be so nice as a celeb scent!!! Love this! If you like escada type, summery fun fruity girly scents then go get this

I bought this when I was younger and never wore it since I thought it was peak luxury, so it macerated for about five years or more. I've recently pulled it back out and I can say the sweetness is very potent with a refreshing background on the florals. The grapefruit comes out strongest to me now, but I have no idea what this would smell like fresh out of the bottle. I'm gonna use it more during the summer but I also like this for a wedding scent some day haha.

While getting groceries at my local Walmart last week, as always I went into the sometimes section and right to the perfume lol so they had this one out display to try, most of there fragrances are behind the locked glass cabinet. Anywho, I must say iwasVERYshocked with how pleasant this is! It's very fruity/sweet fruit, but not in a sick way. I'm not sure I would wear this everyday but certainly would get used.

I got a paper sample in the mail and I love it and also I love 1D and like I said before I don't really care what the bottle looks like and I I don't think the bottle is really that bad

I really want to try this one because I LOVE one direction I don't really care what the bottle looks like only if it smells good and just because it one direction :):)!!!

First, I'm going to start off by saying that while I am not a directioner, I adore this scent! It starts off very juicy and cirtrusy in the opening, with a duo of mango and grapefruit.. at this stage it smells soft, fresh and slightly sweet, but not in a childish way. This scent becomes slightly more mature the longer you wear it. The peony note is in perfect harmony with the fresh and fruity top notes, while the peach blossom and orchid only play a supporting role. However, I don't really get the praline note on my skin, rather, the musk stands out for me but it's gentle and subtle, very nicely done. This would make a very nice first perfume or even summer signature. I think it works well in warm weather, and it's not overpowering or intrusive to others. You will most likely receive a few compliments because it's very likeable and perfectly blended in my opinion. I like this one for school or work, just out of the shower and for wearing on quiet weekends. Two thumbs up for me! Scent: 8/10, I prefer floral and sultry scents, as well as gourmands! Longevity: About 5 hours until fading Sillage: Moderate! Update: I'm going to be gifting this to my sweet friend Cheyanne, who LOVES One Direction. This will be going to a loving home! <3 Can't wait to see the smile on her cute face! :)

A man gifted me this in a giftbox with body lotion when it came out. I prefer more interesting and classy scents. You know there are a few icons regardless of price point but this is not it. I wore it at work, not exactly an 'office job' IYKYK.. Easy to wash off afterwards, and a mood booster while getting ready. Imagine a strip club and the girls ahre this. It also workes as an air freshener. I got tired of the heavier drydown, it enters a sweet heavy phase at the end, a bit harsh. I was told it smells like the perfumery at an airport. Haven't worn it for years, have a few drops left that I cherish for nostalgia. Today I wear it because I'm not in the best mood and I don't want to ruin my other perfumes by it and at the same time this one is both ruined and a moodlifter at the same time.

It's a nice scent. When I smell it, I struggle to pin point notes that stick out to me. I feel as though it's a confused mixture of way too many different notes, however, I seem to be alone in that opinion. This is the kind of scent I wear to work and school. In fact, I had this perfume in my work bag for a few months. I received compliments from my supervisor and manager. My manager always says that she "Smells me before she sees me" when I walk into work, so I suppose the sillage is good. I'm not a fan of the bottle. It's an odd shape, and looks a little out of place with the rest of my collection. 6/10.

Another nostalgic scent for me. I got this when it was released as a perfume obsessed 1D teen. It was one of my "I'm a barely an adult now with a job so I have money" buys. I really enjoyed it. I still have the same bottle. It's floral but also sweet with a hint of citrus. The fruity and sweet shows up more in the dry down than the initial spray- which is mango heavy. It lasted about 7 hours, and I'd say it had moderate sillage- arms length. I'm sure there's a dupe out there for this now. It was a good buy at the time, but people are insane when it comes to the pricing now.

The longevity is moderate, it doesn't fill an entire room but it can be smelled from an arm's length. The smell itself is mainly mango but I also got sandalwood after a short while, it's got a hint of peony too! I don't use this as much as the other One Direction perfumes but it's a very pretty scent that I use on special days like Valentine's day. Citrus lovers and directioners, I highly recommend this to you!

This is a light bright sparkling fruity floral scent especially good for after bath, and scenting your sheets with. It would be appropriate for someone who doesn't like the headier fragrances. Perfect for daytime lunch dates and workplace wear as it isn't heavy enough to offend others. Mild sillage and longevity.

So this perfume reminds me of a mature version of That Moment... its very fruity with slight floral. This is kind of the perfume you smelled before in Bath & Body Works. I hope they mixed the notes well or used a rare ingredients. I still buy it, its more of an everyday use after shower.

I like this one quite a bit for a "young" celebrity fragrance. It's a clean, green floral. Fresh and slightly sweet, not cloying at all. Lasted a while, at least 2 hours. I like but would not purchase as it's not very "me."

my parents bought me this when i was obsessed with 1D!!! but ok this perfume was good to wear for summertime tbh i remember being obsessed with it. there's also a ring that comes with it which was exciting

Smells like citrusy fruit with floral notes. Lots of tropical vines, and it'll get you attention if it's fresh. Terrible longevity. Definitely a summer choice!!

A very citrus opening that settles in to a charming warm fruity floral! Reminds me a lot of Pink Ice. Unexpectedly good!

I really like the way this perfume smells, it reminds me of my childhood in some way. It's a good sweet and fun scent.

Let's just all wish the scent would be mature

At first this is a nice sweet fruity fragrance with some florals. It is a bit sharp but that’s not something I hate but I know others do. But the more I smell it the less I like it and I do get a definite fruity air freshener vibe...

You & I and...OMG! Please, save me! I smelled this and I was almost choking. No kidding. I tried it on a paper almost randomly. I already new One Moment (sic) and was just a little curious about You & I (curiosity killed the cat!) I the first sniff was not awful, a generic fruity, nothing new. I kept the paper in my hand while chatting with a very kind SA about something else. In a very casual way I put the paper under my nose and I almost fainted. A little scream came out, the SA looked at me puzzled because we were talking about something else. I said: "Sorry" and felt a little embarassed. The smell was outrageously sickening sweet sugar with a dirty edge and so damn strong as I was hit in my nose by two dozen of flavour vials for cakes. The SA laughed and said: "Give it to me, this is not for you, let's go to... shelf" and she said another brand. Oh my... I must have looked insane to her. I feel silly. BTW the bottle was cute.

This is a review from a paper sample in Ulta mailer. I will say that I do have their first perfume Our Moment and I think that one is good (sweet but still nice and distinctive enough). However, this one is not for me; INCREDIBLY sweet. I am a person who usually loves extremely sweet things, be it food or scent. It is extremely sweet floral, and I guess I am just not a fan of the florals used in this. It is quite generic to me as well. There is nothing really captivating or different in this, which is currently what I'm looking for in my perfume. It could be suitable as the first perfume for an extremely young girl who is a One Direction fan, but in my opinion that is the only person who would want this. And I do stress the FIRST perfume for that person. If they have had some perfumes before this, they would see how generic it is...

I didn't buy this, I simply sampled this at Kohl's. Though due to that, I'm not going to really get into details regarding my thoughts for it... Honestly, I didn't really like the scent of this. I wanted to, but I couldn't. There was something about it that smelled like alcohol. Maybe it was just in the opening part and I didn't really give this enough of a chance, I don't know. All I know is that in comparison to 1D's first perfume, Our Moment, this was a bit of a let down. Again, I truly wanted to like this but what I picked up when smelling it made that sort of impossible. It could be due to my preference towards sweeter/lighter and fruity scents, though honestly. I do like the design of the bottle. The shape reminds me of a glass shard for some reason

Based on the notes I thought I was gonna love this. And I bought it off marketplace for $10. I believe, and it was such a letdown, there's something about it that it's just too perfumey smelling. I could see a young girl loving this, though somebody in high school, early teens to almost 20 definitely not for someone thirty plus

this smells watery, as if you have a bowl of water and add some fragrance in it, in this case fruity floral fragrance. i wouldnt say its sweet, just fresh. personally i dislike it very much

I like the bottle, especially more than their last 2 but the fragrance is a weak, body-splash like fruity scent, similar to their last one...very inoffensive but boring.

This is one of those types of purfumes when you are in high school you envy the person you smell who is wearing it. Boy bands remind me of high school girls but thos lasts way longer like a higher priced brand. Very sweet sugary floral & vanilla musk smelling. Not dry. But a juicy escada type to me escada makes me feel engulfed by a fruity bubble all day like quenching mouth watering. This is more sophisticated. Then some body spray but thsts probably why I just sold my 3 piece set with ring for $175- I still have a hard time comparing this one with another. Possibly..flowerbomb or Burberry godess like. I sprayed it on before selling & smelled it the whole next day. It's good

Oh, look, another celebrity fragrance based on fruity floral notes, who would have known? I love some celebrity fragrances (the name of the brand actually doesn't repel me or anything. If is good, is good and i'm never ashamed to say i'm wearing something with a celebrity name), and i personally really like One Direction songs, but i pray for them to stick with singing or at least making something that is not like every other common fragrance out there. Dare a little. Is not like they NEED the money. Something different, please. Is for fragrances like this that Perfume Snobs ignore celebrity fragrances.

A thin sweet, lemony frozen cocktail that lasts only a short while. Perhaps it should be grapefruit, but the other citruses counteract the juicy aspect and there's just a bite left, reminds me of tequila. There is a flowery aspect that convinces you it's a perfume, and a slight, chocolate-heavy praline sweetness as well. If you like it but want more, I suggest layering it with something else that you like the end of, but not the beginning so you get the nice lemony fun but have something to enjoy when it fades away.

It's almost unfortunate scents like this can remind you of fruity shaving cream, as all the notes in You & I work together rather nicely. I get a vibrant mango scent at first, and the dry down is like one of my all time favorites, Versace Bright Crystal. I look forward to buying other scents under the One Direction brand when I want something cute and playful. I bought this fragrance as a discounted gift set at a steal of a price for $10 at Shoppers Drug Mart.

Once again people are rating a perfume without, ever having smelled it!! Seriously people, please only rate perfumes after you have actually smelled them. I don't understand why people, can't wait until they actually have smelled it to rate the perfume, the main notes, and everything else!....it messes the entire rating system up when you rate a perfume that you never even tested!!!!

I had been waiting so long for this perfume to come out and I think it's way better than their That Moment perfume coz it smelt too much like watermelon. I have the Our Moment perfume which smells nice, almost like cotton candy but I reckon this one is more mature than the first two perfumes. I'm glad the boys have been releasing decent smelling perfumes :)

This scent was sort of so so for me. It smelled very lovely but it really reminded me of something I'd smelled before. My friend and I both thought of it as a mom perfume smell oddly enough. There is something heady that lingers, possibly the musk or sandalwood. Its appealing but it still gives me scent deja vu of something from the early 90's.

A dupe of Bright Crystal and maybe a smidgen of Yellow Diamond. Update: Even more sour than I thought. If you like the tart fruity types like Anna Sui Fairy Dance Secret Wish or Dolly Girl, this is for you. I'm one of the few who likes the bottle, it reminds me of amethyst jewels, with the cap resembling a mid evil queen's hat.

This is the third perfume from One Direction and it definitley stood out from the previous two. Our Moment is a fruity romantic, That Moment is floral romantic and then there is You & I which is more of a fun scent to me. I smell the mango, peony and praline the most and they make for a wonderful combination.

This bottle is so tacky. No thought went into the design of it like the first perfume. Saying that the scent is way better. It actually smells like a perfume not like a bottle of melon juice like the first two. I'm not a one direction fan but if a perfume smells good it doesn't matter who it's by.

Graperfuit and mango both smell plastic on my skin, not on the paper. Not a bad composition, better than their other perfume. I like the opening but as the hrs pass by I can only smell citrus and grapefruit not very pleasant.

At first all I could smell was a watery melon lemon, and cucumber. I can't smell anything than melon and nothing after the melon and lemon. The melon is quite strong and overpowering the other notes. Definitely a NO from me.

If I were in middle school I'd love this. It reminds me of fruity herbal essences shampoo. I would buy it on sale just to use on dirty hair!

You & I is a nice long lasting scent for any age group. I am not a fan of One Direction, but I like this EDP. It is a very nice scent.

Bottle looks like Elizabeth Taylor's "Passion". I'd buy this just for the bottle.

Curious about this one .. it's at marshalls for cheap but bottle looks cheap..
