Beautiful perfume not suitable for those who do not love the rose note, many compare it with Portrait of a Lady by Frédéric Malle and I do see their points in common but they are different enough to have them both if you are a fan of the rose-patchouli combination like me (that's how I enjoyed the rose note the most) this combo that generally tends to create a camphorous accord, in none of these cases it behaves like that, while POAL is drier, smoky and spicy, this perfume has its slight sweetness, the patchouli here It appears more docile and less daring, the total protagonist rose note if you stick to the skin looking for it can be incisive but the trail it leaves is softly sweet and pleasant, part of this is due to the combination of violet-oud, a combo that For the second time I see it worked in a masterful and beautiful way (Jo Malone violet and amber absolu) the davana and vanilla add an extra touch of fruity sweetness, but very just balanced by the acidic lime and cedar. As I said, this is a beautiful and well-made composition that can be perfectly unisex as long as you enjoy the floral notes, more specifically the rose, excellent longevity and moderate to high sillage depending on the sprays and the climate.

This stuff is addictive. It reminds me a lot of poal which i own and love but this is a little more wearable. Somehow i get a spicy note on my skin. I do think you have to love rose to enjoy this though. Longevity and projection are great. I currently have a little 10ml version of this but i’m most certain i will need to buy the full bottle once i run out.

Sweet beautiful watery rose. Fine sliver of smoke. Extremely long lasting and classy, something for rich mature women or men.
