I really get the candied fruit and there is something what I call "discordant" in there that rubs against the sweetness to stop it from tottering over into cloying territory. It reminds of two things 1) the smell of freshly applied nail varnish 2) those Marvellous Creation chocolate bars that have the unlikely paring of chocolate with popping candy. One of those fragrances where you think you regret buying blind and yet find yourself going back for more to try and "figure it out". Edit: returned to this after some time as it smells just like SJP's Lovely!

Gives Club de Nuit Intense vibes. To me it smells almost identical but not as goth.

I haven't used Narciso Rodriguez Her or Ralph Lauren's Glamorous so I can't compare it to either of those perfumes. It took me a while to get this to settle down. The first time, it was a very raucous opening of mostly oakmoss and patchouli that went nowhere. The second time was the same. I don't know why I gave it a third try but this time, I can smell the candied fruits after a little tussle out of the bottle. It has settled into oranges and mild sweetness and then the musky rose pokes through. It still isn't for me. Those first two rounds reminded me of the 80's powerhouses. This does last a long time and has strong sillage. It's also inexpensive so a blind buy was okay for me. I think it's more feminine but a man could possibly wear it.
