Rose Bouquet

Orientica seems to be a new line from the masters of Arabian perfumery Al Haramain. I love this ‘Rose Bouquet’ oil in its tiny pink roller ball bottle. It smells exactly how the bottle suggests, pink and cute (but not childish nor sweet) it’s a perfect rendition of a true rose. It’s transparently pink like Turkish delight with a little musk. Yes it smells like old lady rose soaps, but that’s comforting, pure and bursting with rosey love. It very much reminds me of Arabian Oud’s ‘Musk Motassalik’ but no where near as expensive (and not quite as good in terms of quality). It’s so much better than Jo Malone’s ‘Red Roses’ and heaps better than Perfumer’s Workshop ‘Tea Rose’. I wish I’d found this years ago when I was in my old lady, aldehyde, rosey soap phase. I going to use this for layering when I want to add some musky pink roses to the mix.

Love it! It's a strong very strong rose scent but a good one. You really have to love the smell of rose otherwise it's not for you. Projection and longtivity are very good. It lasts the whole day. Even the next day i can smell it in my heart. So power bomb rose scent.

It smells like a handmade glycerin rose soap which I completely dig. Not a very complex scent but sometimes I'm actually looking for the exact smell of my soaps and shower gels.

It's alright, a really strong and vivid rosy scent, maybe a little bit too strong (I personally don't mind, but it was pointed out to me by someone else, so it might be irritating to others). I actually like rose and geranium scents a lot, but the only reason I give Rose Bouquet just an "OK" grade is that Orientica has two others rosy/flowery edits, which smell richer, more vibrant, and have more to it, and I prefer them more. This one is a bit "flat", monotone, there are not many notes in there, just plain rose. If that's what you're going for - you will like it. Anyway, these oils are an amazing value for money.

There is something salty in this scent I cannot stand . I just can’t get past it. It just turns sour on my skin . The rose is in the background but all I can smell is a rose covered in pee . I know 🥲 I wanted to love it but .. it has to go ✌🏽

Delightful to see this Orientica line uploaded at Fragrantica! Orientica's modern and often oud/gourmand centered line takes a decided turn to old fashioned here. I once had a jar of little rose soaps left over from my great grandmother's bathroom stash. The scent was almost missing and a little stale, but the overall effect rather similar. Rose Bouquet is mostly a DRY, SOAPY rose!!! It smells quite like soap that is scented with rose, in fact. Similar to the Rose scented Chinese brand soap called 'Bee and Flower'. Powdery with a completely unsweetened, dry feel and mostly invisible musk. The downfall could be that you are expecting a Tea Rose or sweet kind of rose. Nooooooo. This is sharp and soapy and starchy, all in one. Some people may also envision ironing starch, scented with rose soap. This is the kind of aura - clean and almost abrasive - that Rose Bouquet creates. Overall, Rose Bouquet smells to me like a rigidly corseted Edwardian, white haired woman who has just finished bathing with rose soap and powder! LOVE It, even though I actually enjoy it most of all layered with a touch of vanilla or something musky-sweet.

This smells like a very nice, fresh, clean rose soap, as other reviewers have noted. I bought it mainly because I like aldehydes, and I didn't have a floral aldehyde scent in oil form. Rose Bouquet is definitely worth buying if you're a rose aficionado! You can sweeten it up by layering with other rose scents, and it's also lovely on its own. I applied it early this morning, ran errands, worked in the office all day, took a walk, and cooked dinner - and I can still smell it. This is going to be a favorite in my rotation this summer. Update: I don't like the Orientica bottles at all. The glass vials are encased in little silicone sleeves that can keep the lids from screwing on completely, and this caused my bottle to leak. So I peeled off the silicone sleeve, and now I have a nice clear glass bottle with a pink cap, which is fine with me.

This to me is one of the best rose perfumes out there .. only use a tiny roll of the ball or it will initially overpower you and everyone you come into contact with, less is definetly more !! This is a true rose with a subtle powdery drydown in the background. If you dont want to be smelling entirely of roses I find the best way to use this is to quickly layer with another tiny roll of Orientica white musk. These two combined will last all day, With compliments
