Royal Amber

This is a warm sandalwood scent with cinnamon mixed in. It's soft and spicy and very unisex. It doesn't scream masculine to me as most cinnamon scents do. Easy, everyday wear perfume that's versatile and comforting. Sits fairly close to the skin but is still noticeable. Good blind buy.

For me it is ok for layering, it is a bit too balsamic on it's own

I wanted to like this. Looking at the notes, I should have liked this. But the opening is super synthetic, sharp cinnamon. It smells like Big Red gum, or like the cheap cinnamon pine cone air fresheners they sell at Christmastime. After that, it was sweet, but not a nice sweet. I can't describe it. And then by a couple of hours in, it just smelled like oily, bitter incense. I like spicy scents, and I like incense, but not Big Red + head shop patchouli. It's just bad. Add to that the fact that my bottle leaked - which has been an issue with both of the Orientica bottles I've had - and now my whole closet smells faintly of this scent. Yuck.

I don't smell cinnamon or oranges. All I smell is a bad, sharp, plastic and synthetic smell. I wanted to like it given the notes in the list, but I was disappointed

I really wanted to like this the notes should work with me, but this is really weird on my body chemistry. The opening is sweet, really sweet, it stays at artificial non-descript sweetness until it drys down then the patchouli and sandalwood just run the show and it suddenly becomes masculine. Now I smell like a pick n mix stand in a head shop...Yuck.

Warm cinnamon and gentle sandalwood. Good unisex weekend scent. Relaxed and inviting, would pair well with worn-out jeans and favorite sweatshirts.
