Divine Dark Velvet

I bought Dark Velvet as a blind buy with no high expectations, but it surprised me a lot. When you first spray it, you get an intense rose note, however this is not a typical or ordinary rose scent. As time passes, the rose softens and transforms into a very unique, hard-to-describe but pleasant smell. The scent is definitely different, though I wouldn’t call it a luxurious fragrance. If you’re looking for something unique and unusual, I would recommend it. On my skin it lasts around 9–10 hours, and on clothes it stays even after washing. Considering the price, its performance is excellent. It is absolutely a night-time and winter fragrance.

Best Oriflame release for quite long time. Actually an Oriflame fragrance I personally accept on my skin without anything cheap on it. Deep velvet rose , strong patchouli , addictive oudy notes. Long lasting with a loud sillage , bold fragrance designed to channel Diva attitude.Reminds me of Oud and Roses by Jo Malone in best way. Last Oriflame fragrance I loved and wore so much - and this one reminds of - is M by Marcel Maringiu. A Premium release after all. Reminds me of Lattafa fragrances as well only less dusty. *There are notes missing here. Dark Plum & Blackberries and it’s actually Dark Vanilla & Baccara Rose.

I never smelled anything like this before. This is not for spring or summer...or daytime. I can only imagine it as a date night perfume or if you want to feel like powerful. The best from Oriflame.

I don't usually like rose scents, but this fragrance captivated me somehow. It reminds me of Maison Margiela On a Date, but Oriflame seems like a much more luxurious and better version to me.

Surprised that nobody's mentioning how gothic and witchy this scent is. Not in a way that there's incense or something smoky, but this is damp garden at night.

I have received it today. It is on sale on Oriflame website. It is a bargain considering the quality of fragrance. In my opinion it could be unisex. It is strong patchouli but within 10 minutes the rose is coming out , not the fresh rose, smokey type of rose and every minute it is getting more prominent. At last it is vanilla , a ligh vanilla not heavy, I guess accompanied by gardenia. It is a great perfume for its price. Luxurious feel , might be a bit harsh first, but within 20 minutes it settles beautifully. Great for rainy autumn, and winter. Funny it smells more sweet, lighter, more feminine on my right hand ,than on left( more unisex)..... Definitely worth a buy especially for the price it is advertised now. £20.40p

Finom,visszafogott,bőrközeli illat.Inkább érett korú nőknek.Elegáns szolíd illat,őszi-téli hangulatú.Szappanos lecsengésű.Minden alkalomra megfelel az irodától a színházig.Az üveg nagyon szép.

Hello vintage Tom Ford Cafe Rose! Wow! Divine Dark Velvet is closer to Cafe Rose 2012 than Cafe Rose 2023 itself.... Dark Velvet isn't sweet at all, just a beautiful roasted coffee note, gourmand patchouli and deep dark rose. The bottle is beautiful and textured. 10/10
