Eclat Toujours

Somehow i felt that the scent are very similar to Oriflame Born to Fly (For Him) It's a long lasting good scent. The smell itself is good, but nothing special to write about Better suited for casual wear. Longevity : 8 / 10 Projection 6 / 10

the first spray tells us the minty lemon..then become warm on lavender and amber note until dry-down. I like it having 8-10 sprays because the longevity is weak but the sillage is moderate. #batch 2020

When I tested Eclat Toujours a few years ago, it seemed to me a banal, average and unremarkable scent. Recently I had the opportunity to spend a little more favorable time with this fragrance. I still think it is a banal, fresh scent, but in this banality and simplicity I saw a composition that has something more to offer and it is quite pleasant to wear in spring and summer. The opening is very fresh, I feel a strong gust of mint and citrus, it is both a bit cuerpy and sweet. The base notes, i.e. lavender and iris, arrive quite quickly and although they are not strongly noticeable separately, they turn the composition into an aromatic-floral cocktail with a shy nut towards unisex. I like this non-obvious twist even more than the fresh but predictable opening. The leather-amber base is weakly defined, but a light chord of thin leather comes through from time to time, and the amber slightly warms the scent towards the end. It's nothing special, and it's still not an interesting enough scent for me to be more than a one-off, but there are more layers to it than it seems. Overall, however, these are typical Oriflame perfumes. Longevity probably depends on the weather and activity, because it seems to be short and lasts 3-4 hours, but during an active, warm day I felt it last a long time. Projection is quite good, it's not a close-to-the-skin scent. I think I will decide to test again its newer brother Eclat Toujours Intensite, which I also tested only once. 6/10

Good enough for the price, I basically got it for free. Got a few compliments, though I don't exactly love it on me. Lasts around 10h for me and sillage is just enough. I like this better in colder season. 5/10

Simple old fashioned and I can’t say in a good way. Disappointed for an Alienor Massenet creation.
