Volume

A Metal Plum. That's what i feel. Even if maybe is the quince to predominate in this composition. I ve bought blind buy cause the note list was similar to Romeo Gigli Uomo (the first) and I wasn't wrong. They are quite similar. Sure RGU is more complex and torbid deep. Volume is Very nice. Well blended. A tropical cocktail. Lime and sugar plays that sensation. Sillage is strong. I recieved more complimemts and attentions with this fragrance than the Hermes or Guerlain I own. Easily unisex. Remember me Kenzo Power or Kenzo Power Cologne.

Love the way it smells on me. I love it and now trying to find a scent similar to this one. My friend give me a sample of Ferrari and I have to say that they are 90% similar but I can't remember exactly. But I think Volume is better than Ferrari fresher and stay longer. I don't know how Oriflame discontinue such an amazing perfume like this. Such a nice scent.

Volume is one of the best compositions that came out of Oriflame and if only it had more power it would definitely be a hit. In the excellent opening we are greeted by sour lime enhanced by quince and bergamot and this sourness of citrus is juxtaposed with the sweeter scent of Peruvian balsam which gives a very interesting sweet and sour effect. Cedar is interestingly woven into this mix giving a sharper, coniferous, green impression. It really smells great. Then, when the scent moves to the heart notes, sour citruses recede to the further background, the aroma becomes warmer and spicy thanks to the large amount of spices. Cloves and nutmeg resonate beautifully here together with Peruvian balsam. They create an almost festive, winter atmosphere. There is also a lot of sugary sweetness which is enhanced by rum with plum. Musk adds a bit of coolness and spaciousness and patchouli adds heaviness. It is tasty, aromatic, spicy. The notes are blended so well that Volume is a universal scent and can be used in almost any season. It will work well both on a summer evening because it has a lot of refreshing, sour citrus, but also in December, before Christmas thanks to the large amount of spices and sweets. A great scent, which unfortunately has one drawback - not very good parameters. The composition is begging for more power. I know, it's Oriflame so you can't expect too much, but with this scent you would like more. Longevity is max 4 hours and the initially moderate projection quickly becomes close to the skin. The bottle in the photo looks interesting, although it was ripped off from Hermes, in real life this plastic ring looks cheap. Despite these average parameters, I made a stock because it really is a very good scent. 8/10

This fragrance is a positive surprice! It is placed in the scentgroup "chypre fruity" and I was curious to try it. Oriflame doesnt have that nice reputation here in Sweden. Its been sneezed at like some second or thirdclass brand. But my opinion of this brand has change completly. Volume is a nice, fresh and longlasting scent that is probobly ment for younger guys then me but has that ever stopped me from trying? No way. It starts with a blast of nice fruity citrus blend with nutmeg. I love the smell of nutmeg and the nutmeg stays with you all the time until the scent fades away. The drydown after the blast of citrus is abit more softer. Stil very fruity with the nutmeg constantly there. In the end the cedar and the musk is more prominent and the scent is abit more woody in its character. You can probobly use this scent after workout but also when you go to a club for a night out. I have used it at work, while out having fun and flirty moments. It gets almoust the same attention as Roberto Cavallis "Just blue". Its probobly ment for sping/summer but I have used it now in autumn and it has never let me down. The stayingpower of volume is amazing. I spray it on 6 am in the morning and it is stil there at 10 in the night. Its not loud and screamy but potent enough to get attention. Great price, great smell but the bottle itselfe is a disaster. Very plastic.

This is a fairly typical fruity summery fragrance. Not as sweet and perfumey as Oriflame's Urban Lovers for men - Volume is slightly woodier and more masculine. Both Volume and Urban Lovers are probably aimed at a younger target group than me. Starts off with strong citrus with a smudge of slight nutmeg. It is quite sweet and fruity throughout. Later on the woodiness is more noticeable. There is just enough nutmeg and woodiness to stop this being too sweet and sickly for me. Lasts very well. With 4 sprays, rather than my usual 2, it still projects at 6 hours and lasts closer to the skin for around 9 or 10 hours. This was a lot better than I expected. A casual, easy to wear, youthful, fruity, slightly masculine summer fragrance that represents good value for money and lasts surprisingly well. Good for everyday wear and I might well buy it again. Easy to pick up very cheaply - mine cost me £3.
