So classic, elegant. Nothing like anything currently on the market. The fragrance industry needs to go back to the drawing board and re-create the classics--there is a market out there! Everything today smells like fruit, spice, or something I would wash my floors with.

I used this for a few years in the late 70's and early 80's and loved it. Would love to smell it again.

Bought this for my Mother about 15years ago from a drugstore/chemist in the Netherlands. The reason being she loved the original Jean D'Albret version in the 60's and 70's but it was discontinued or the company disappeared. The Orlane version smelled like a pale imitation of the original.Now this too has gone. My advice is to look for the Jean D'albret version but you will be chancing that the smell is fresh after all these years. You can tell by the Orlane bottle that it was produced as a cheapie. From what I can remember my Mother gave it away because it smelled so cheap and didn't last at all . Also the smell was a bit likened to a poor version of Coty L'aimant.

Soapy iris, sweet yet fresh almost aquatic lemon---- very clean smelling with mild aldehydes. It reminds you of something that in today's perfume world would belong to the "Clean" perfume line sold at Sephora. I really like Orlane's version, although I have not smelled the vintage Jean D'Albret version yet. I would purchase a larger bottle of this which is no small feat considering that even the Orlane version has been discontinued and is considered a vintage. Overall it's a very well blended and surprisingly modern in feel scent.

I tried this years ago, loved it...then it disappeared. Reminded me of chanel no 5, just a bit different...elegant. Bring it back!
