It’s funny when I first reviewed this back in 2024 I wasn’t too impressed by it then I ended up with a bottle of early last year after retrying it and loving it. Now it’s been over a year since I’ve had my bottle and it has quite the dent in it, almost half done and that says a lot when you have many fragrances. It’s an easy reach for me. Whenever I don’t know what to wear, I’ll wear this and I often crave wearing it multiple days in a row. It’s so pretty and it’s one of my most complimented perfumes by both men and women. It’s like a magnet for compliments lol. I seriously get asked what it is ALL the time. I’ve even recently set it as my signature as it seems I’ve become associated with this scent in the places I go as I’ve gotten repeat compliments saying “you’re wearing that beautiful perfume again”. It’s just so funny because I didn’t think it was that special when I first tried it and now it is quite special to me. Just a reminder to spend more time with a perfume before writing it off. I’m also happy to report that the performance has gotten better over time. I thought it was light when I first got it but it’s pretty strong honestly and lasts long too, even in hot humid conditions which is important to me considering where I live. I’ll agree it’s not the most ground breaking unique scent out there but why does everything have to be? Asking myself that too because sometimes I’ll forget how something simple done well can still stand out amongst the crowd. It’s also why this is a great choice for an everyday, easy reach because of the simplicity of it that you don’t have to question if it’s too much but trust me it has enough character still to turn heads. TLDR; youthful but not juvenile, flirty and fun but also elegant at the same time, bright but has some depth, pretty girl rose perfume with hints of almond, heliotrope, non cough syrup cherry and light vanilla and sugar elements running throughout on a base of gorgeous sandalwood.

This is soft & pretty but didn’t stand out to me amongst the crowd. Referring to the reminds me of section: Doesn’t smell at all like duchessa (hate that fragrance) or Delina. More in the ballpark of Le petite robe noire as mentioned by the previous reviewer. I owned that fragrance and many of its flankers a long time ago and that’s what 18-12 reminded me of, a niche version of it if you will. From memory 18-12 lasts longer too. This has moderate performance - wears on the softer side. Update: Yeah I’ll have to eat my words a little bit on this one but I finished my decant and wore it outside instead of inside and liked it quite a bit. I was in the mood after trying a lot of heavy scents, for a lighter one that didn’t disturb too much so I doused myself in the rest of my sample, went about my day and to my surprise, out in the summer heat it came alive! It still wore softly in terms of scent profile but it fits the scent. It’s light, feminine and airy. Has a slight clean vibe to it as well. Perfect for summer and spring months. While it is light, I found it performed much better than my first try. I could smell it radiating off me for a few hours before getting closer to the skin. I still think it gives me some vibes of niche LPRN but I’m picking up more differences now and as the day went on I really fell for this one and guess who has a bottle of it now? Me 🥰 haha

This is the smell of an elegant woman's vanity in her closet: the scent of cosmetics mixed with the remnants of luxury perfumes that she sprays liberally while the scent of her expensive clothes and leather handbags ever so slightly make itself known in a very subtle way. An instant love for me. It is not beastmode by any means and I do wish that you get more longevity and sillage for the price but i'm willing to compromise since the artistry in the scent is one of a kind. There is something beautifully nostalgic about it and you think you've smelt it before but not really and no matter how many times you try to find something similar, you can't and probably will not. One critique I have is that the top of the bottle should have been pink or red or something very feminine instead of teal since this perfume is very feminine.

so here's the thing about this house - it's all about timeless elegance, it's conservative and refined, artsy but not too edgy. A very conservative and traditional but very niche at the same time - is that possible? I think that's what they are going for. I imagine wearing 18012 for a high-brow festive occasion. I want to smell feminine and elegant, classy but not too vintage, sweet and seductive but not too girly. Of course there will be whiffs of classy rose and powdery heliotrope, yummy sugar and almond but some citruses to balance it out. it will be strong enough but never offensive or overpowering - you'll get to smell it when barely touching my cheeks when we greet each other. it's very pricey... I'll be thinking long and hard about this one

I got a sample set from this house and I am so stunned by how amazing every scent is. On paper, I didn’t smell anything so when I sprayed it on skin I was completely shocked by how beautiful it is. The opening is a blast of bubbleyum being unwrapped: the sweet powdery bubblegum scent, drying down to a beautiful cherry almond on a bed of purple flowers. I cannot get enough of it, I’ve gone through my sample in a matter of days. It’s bubbly and youthful, but also classy and complex.
