A gorgeous 'red' scent. The cap on the bottle is the perfect shape and hue. Rose plays a role rather than appearing as a distinct note. It blends with the floral bouquet that supports the Tagetes (African Marigold) and gives some complexity and texture to the Currant-Peach-Citrus (grapefruit and bergamot) melange. All of this is warmed up with the vanilla, benzoin and tonka. I have a hard time identifying the patchouli, but patch is such a shape-shifter its likely doing some magic that is beyond my olfactive intelligence. There is a little bit of an affinity with Bal d'Afrique here. I think its the spicy Tagetes being featured strongly in combination with juicy stone fruit and citrus. I would not says its 1:1 at all however. Yvonne is way more 'red' and fruit-forward. The longevity for Yvonne is not as good as other Ormaie scents — it quickly settles into a soft, fruited, floral aura that is quite unique. Even though its perhaps a more feminine-leaning scent I would still consider it unisex. And I love the comment about this being a great 'dandy' scent...

I disagree that this is not a groundbreaking fragrance; on the contrary, I find it very unique. It has an ozonic quality, which I love. It is not too fruity or flowery; it is so well blended. It doesn't remind me of any perfume; even though it is not weird, it has a classical feel and beautiful brightness. It lasts 10+ hours on my skin, and the projection is decent. This is what I like; I hate rude, in-face perfumes. It could be day and night perfume, but I am unsure about summertime; all other seasons would work well. It is a very elegant, pretty girl perfume, and men love it. It's a compliment-getter. Beautiful.

Upon first spray this brought a picture of raspberry wine or sangria in my head. Sweet, boozy, fruity, intense. I get why there are some votes for likeness to Flowerbomb - it's the patchouli/sweet combination. But other than that, not much in common. Tagetes definitely gives it an intersting twist here, it tights the sweet/ sour notes really well, gives an exotic feel, a bit like Bal d'Afrique-exotic if you will. I'm really enjoying this one and contemplating a full bottle...

Beautiful fragrance. Strangely it reminds me of that "hot" fragrance that Jeremy reviewed about a year ago: Boss the Scent Private Accord For Her. It is a familiar combo of gourmand citrus, flower, and chocolate/tonka. To me it smells sexy mature and feminine, but agree with the rest that the scent is not necessarily original. So far my favorite from the beautiful Ormaie line is Papier Carbone, which is spicy, woody, complex, yet fresh and discrete.

I absolutely love this one, but the longevity/projection is terrible on me given the price. Even when I douse myself in it. It's a gorgeous, fruity, playful scent without being gourmand or immature. It's joyful while still being sophisticated. Sadly, it wears off within 2 or 3 hours. Ormaie better get their sh** together if they're going to charge that much for perfumes upon being a newcomer to the scene.

People have asked what perfume I wear multiple times when I leave the house wearing Yvonne. Even when I can no longer detect the scent on myself after 3-4 hours, it seems the perfume lasts longer for others to know and comment on. Starts off with a flowery fruity note, and melts on your skin for a sweeter, warmer scent. Perfect for everyday wear.

Homage to the classic fruitchouli, reminds me very much of Badgley Mischka. Berry flavoured red lipstick, rose, jasmine and patchouli what I get. Super feminine, little old school and oh so pretty.

Delicate and feminine, this fragrance can be a signature scent. Perfect for all seasons, all ages, open space compatible. Fruity floral perfume with notes of rose, peach, berries, with a touch of vanilla. It is a complex scent. 8/10

It’s unique but not a love for me, unfortunately... The opening smells a lot like a fizzy fruity drink, something like tinto de verano or sangria. I don’t get much from the floral notes, it’s pretty much all peach, black currant and grapefruit to my nose.. smells like a strong fruit punch on my skin, and although it gets lighter once it dries down, the patchouli in the base turns it into something a bit too vintage for my taste. Not bad, just not for me.

The opening is very similar to Santal Kardamon with that orange spiciness of pink pepper and citrus. This however soon calms down with sweet, fruity and creamy nuances of currant, peach and rose. In the drydown I have mostly vanilla and an orange sandalwood. More during the day, but you will hear traces until night! Feminine, without pretensions to turning heads. Easily forgettable.

rose + orange blossom + pomegranate sour juicy fruit + florals it does kind of smell like some kind of a middle eastern concoction but absolutely not my jam do not recommend blind buying this at all, not that it's bad but there's a syntheticness about it that may not be for everyone

I was hoping it will be great because I love the name...but nope.

So I really, really like this fragrance. It's not groundbreaking, but it's well done. It's a jammy fruitchouli with a citrus that gives it a beautiful freshness. It never feels heavy. In fact my main problem with it is projection. It barely makes it off your skin. I actually think it does have longevity, as I smelled it on my sweatshirt a day later but it is so so faint, it makes me feel like buying a full bottle would be irresponsible. I see that they made a extrait version, which i'm hoping may help the projection problem, but I worry it may lose the brightness that makes me love it.

Juicy black currant and bergamot, a lovely rose heart, and a subtle but palpable aromatic background (the vague feeling of moss, patchouli, labdanum). It definitely has that contemporary chypre vibe--something created from the skeleton of those classic fruity chypres--even including a fabulous woman's name! Lovely, but not earth shattering and doesn't stand up to some of the contemporary chypres to beat like Rue Cambon, Jasmine White Moss, or Au Dela.

I enjoyed the two sprays on my inner elbow. It reminded me of my 2008-2012 years, but I couldn't figure out why. Then it came to me. It's not a dupe, but it is Coco Mad/Miss Dior Cherie-esque. I wore those fragrances heavily during that time of my life (late 20s). This is a more mature version. I've ordered a decant. If you too, enjoyed those fragrances, but are now in your 40s (don't say that too loudly) maybe Yvonne is something to check out.

People mad just know these are natural based fragrances, natural oils, not alcohol and synthetics amping them up like regular designer fragrances. Your paying for the experience and the art, the bottles are high end as well. Not saying you need it but just saying do your research before commenting ‘this isn’t worth the money and doesn’t last!’ Stick to easy designer stuff.

Smells pretty but doesn't do much for me. I enjoy the deep drydown the most when it smells like other patchouli fragrances. I'm smelling this now lacking words to say since it does smell rather basic and I see where the top comparisons are coming from. If I had to pin down something unique, it would be the almost cola like drydown that comes from the resins and tonka.

It smells red. I’m not that keen though and my arm has started burning too, so I’m gonna have to wash it off. It’s a bit fruit and a bit rosy but nothing special imo.

Anatomy of a 2000's designer fragrance - but can't pin point which one - so perhaps it's just general vibes. Pretty but evokes "throw back" to me.
