Indus

I have the 50 ml bottle It lasts between 7-8 hours with a medium intensity. At the beginning of this perfume we are going to find this rose that comes as refreshed and flavored with the tones of the fruits, here it is very important that both the currant shoots and the lychee, they will give it a very pleasant fresh fruit tone and very youthful, when we advance these tones are applied a little and the rose takes shape, with respect to what are the spices the musk, the incenses, that contain in their heart little by little the nutmeg creates an effect here aromatic around the rose spicy, then the delicious part of what are incense or little by little, it is as if they were the phases of the rose itself, it starts fresh, it opens and matures and takes shape little by little , with respect to a fresh fruit rose, which is more special incense and with a background of a plum, which is juicy, ripe, an already powerful plum and here we find ourselves then a whole world, where the rose takes body and it transforms from fresh to me adura, of course it is a perfume that is delicate, feminine, precious. Unisex? no, for me it is not a uniseex perfume, it is a much more feminine scent but of course whoever likes it uses it. Scenic? No, I think it is a versatile and easy-to-use verfume, even if the rose is not what you like the most in the world, thanks to the many fruits and textures of the perfume this aroma conquers.

Oh this is addictive. It does remind me of Delina but it definitely does it’s own thing and I find it much more easily wearable. This is a fruity floral/rose, with a clean almost slightly aquatic feel at times, but it’s deeper, especially in the dry down, you pick up some of the base notes. But this is a mood-lifting, happy scent to me. It is gorgeous and very feminine, flirty and fun but equally classy. This is my new favorite. And it has incredible longevity! A couple discreet sprays before work yesterday and I was still getting wafts after my 12 hour shift!

Really nice!! Great performance too. Very similar to: • Chloe: Chloe De Roses • Jo Malone’s : 1) Rose Blush & 2) Red Roses A soft rosé fragrance that has better staying power than the dupes listed above. It does not smell, to me, like Jo Malone Velvet Oud & Rose or Chloe original or any of the Delinas. I have all of these. This is a light frag but it last making it a better buy than the dupes I’ve mentioned. Although, it does cost more than Chloe & JM.

I’m obsessed with this. Gorgeous fruity musky heaven and yes still fresh. Agree with other reviewers. It’s so complex and beautifully balanced. It does feel like a summer fragrance but I’m in winter here and still throwing it around with hopeful delusion.

Fava Beans, below, put my thoughts into words already and I can add nothing...except to say that I love it.

Fava beans has such a great review of this perfume! I’d say that it’s exactly as described — a light litchi rose. Slightly soapy in the best way. For me, the lightness and rose remind me of Byredo’s Rose of No Man’s Land, but Byredo’s rose is more clear and has more depth at the same time. Indus is light and easy to wear whereas RONML is more introspective and evocative.

Similar to Damask, but deeper, more multifaceted. Black currant blossom is such a smart touch. I can feel the plum, incense, patchouli, it reminds me a bit of Eau Capitale. Lovely.

Very pretty, warm, fruity, oriental rose fragrance. Romantic and classy.

This Kinda reminds me of Portrait of a Lady

My goodness, a huge opening on initial spray and projects quite loudly at that. This is undoubtedly a patchouli but there’s nothing screechy or aldehydey about it - sweet lychee and black currant drowns it out. I was worried about the nutmeg making this a holiday scent but that isn’t the case. I’m finding nutmeg hard to trace. Instead there’s almost something bright and green like acorn here. After ten or so minutes the fragrance smooths out into a truly rose forward perfume. Edit: Dry down is a very old fashioned Oriental rose. If that’s your thing you’ll love this fragrance. Unfortunately, not for me. Will be experimenting with this house again though.

Indus is a pretty, fruity, rose fragrance. It's probably my favourite from the 'La Route de Soie' collection. It comes off pretty sharp upfront, and unfortunately I get much more blackcurrant than litchi. Although not listed in the notes, I believe the perfume is mainly supported by an amber-synth base, similar to ambroxan. Usually that would be a deal-breaker for me, but surprisingly I still enjoy wearing Indus. Performance is very good compared with the standard collection. If you like a strong blackcurrant note with rose, this scent is for you!

When I look at the accords, I see fruity rose patchouli. But when I think of fruity rose patchouli, I imagine something sweet, while this is dry and rose forward. I don't get get any of the nutmeg or incense. The dry down is a pleasant rose musk. I can see this working for some people, its old school classy. And while I like to have a few "vanilla free" fragrances in my stash when I need a break from that ubiquitous note, this is maybe a little too rose centric for me.

Strong green cassis with roses, and a super sweet plum scent. fresh and clean, fruity rose. sweet but not cloying. well balanced. It doesn't ruin the sweetness with chemical ambery scents that make cheap, banal scents.

Agree with violeteme, it gives off diptyque eau capitale vibes. Complex and nuanced. A joy to wear! Personally, would prefer this for cooler weather.

Unfortunately it has been disappeared from their site. It is not the only one. It was a new release though. Was it a limited edition perfume? Pity
