Isfarkand Elixir

Perfect perfume for spring and summer! Completely unisex. The opening is citrusy but not aggressive and sharp. Later it goes into the realm of woody creamy citrus cedar with vetiver. Really solid and really underrated! Easy 7/10

Woody, earthy, unisex, and contemplative. Also distinctly nonlinear. The tanginess of the citrus mixes with the slight sharpness of the wood notes, creating a mulchy sort of vibe. It's an earthy and slightly tannic scent that makes me think of freshly peeled tree bark, or the husks of walnuts fallen from a huge old walnut tree the morning after a blustery autumn storm. At first sniff I find Isfarkand Elixir a bit dirty and sour, with even a slightly nail-lacquer-y harshness to it right off the top, but that only lasts a moment. As it dries down I find myself enjoying the rich, natural earthiness of it. After a couple of hours the amber accord comes through a little, with a touch of balsamic sweetness. Then by three hours in it's developed a sweet, aromatic freshness that's almost minty. For me this is best suited to spring and autumn; the weather turning, dampness creeping in, the dirt churning with either growth or decay.

A beautiful Scent that contains the Basic Ormonde jayane DNA . I used Isfarkand and was very happy with its performance and Sillage. So ISFARKAND ELIXIR was a Blind Buy for me with thought that it would be concentrated form of orignal But its a different take on orignal. It is ISO E SUPER Heavy scent which is know for main things 1. Make perfumes stick to skin more and thus compromising its sillage but increasing longevity 2. Olfactory fatigue due to large moleculer size This exactly is issue with this scent.After applying you wudnt be able to appreciate scent , but gets periodic whiffs of scent for upto 12 hrs. Its Better for Summer Season Thia scent is for those who wana have good acent bubble like in office but a person like me who need monstrous projection ITS A STRAIGHT NO.. OVERALL SCENT PROFILE : 10/10 LONGEVITY : 10/10 SILLAGE : 8/10 PROJECTION 6/10 VALUE FOR MONEY : 7/10

Great quality and long lasting, just not my cup of tea as a scent. Deep, earthy, lemon.

This isn't a glowing review but it's also not a negative review. Skipping to the end of story, this perfume is 'meh' for me. Now, from the beginning; Isfarkand Elixir opens with a heavy dose of iso e super and bergamot with vetiver trailing just behind these two as the main players. As far as iso e super bomb fragrances go this is a fairly decent one, and has classic elements to its composition like the citrus and vetiver which are enjoyable. So, overall this is a savory perfume not a sugary one which is refreshing for me as most scents these days are fruity-floral/tooth-achingly sweet with hardly a reprise or interesting plot twist in dry down. The mandarin and cedar notes aren't detectable yet and I long for them to make their appearance because the iso e super is quickly outstaying it's welcome. This is my 2nd wearing of my sample, and the first time I wore it I recall wanting to wash it off immediately then I don't recall what happened, a distraction, and I ended up wearing it into dry down then falling in love. The tiny vial went into my 'must revisit' ziplock and I'm trying my best to patiently wait for that dry down. Nonetheless, it's been an hour and even 60 minutes hanging out waiting to feel joy is too long given how many perfumes I already own that I adore from spritz to fade-out. Ultimately, this won't be a full bottle purchase for me, but I don't discourage anyone from playing around with this scent. Ormande Jayne is a high quality house of perfume and Isfarkand Elixir might be your jam.

I totally get what they were trying to do with this fragrance and frankly I would have welcomed it. They dont have too many freshies in their catalogue so another would be nice. I just dont know if its possible to use this much ISO E Super and get something that isnt just purely dominated by it. If you like Molecule 01 I actually think this would have been really close a more luxurious take on it, however the lemon does become cleaner like. I dont think the scent is unpleasant, its just forgettable. I really love ormonde jayne as a house but this one missed the mark a bit, granted it is probably really hard to beat a masterpiece like montobacco verano .

I saw that bacarrat comparison and rolled my eyes - thankfully it's nothing like it. Nice big citrussy burst, which seems to last a decent amount of time. Zesty, bergamoty, bit of vetyver but not overpowering. Refreshing and dries down nicely to a zesty wood. Impressed with the zest lasting power here. Minimal moss and cedar - thankfully!
