It smells fresh, clean, and almost juicy, carrying a quality that whispers, I’m a water sign. If I had to rename it, I’d give it the name of one of the water signs. The bergamot here isn’t sharp; instead, it feels rounded and beautifully airy, in line with the refined style Ormonde Jayne often brings to this series. There’s a tea-like facet that recalls a soft morning ritual, calm and effortless. Effervescence blends gently with the dry tobacco, and the florals are handled with elegance, adding lift without becoming overpowering. Of the trio, this is the most masculine-leaning, though all three remain perfectly unisex in their character.

Tried Montabaco Cuba in the middle of a hot day and it just clicked. The citrus and florals open bright and breezy, never heavy, then it eases into smooth tobacco, woods and a soft vanilla glow. People around me noticed straight away, got a couple of compliments without even trying. It’s easy to wear, yet has that little twist that makes it stand out. Feels refined, sexy and effortlessly addictive. I don't have anything like this in my collection. Best of the Montabaco., better than Verano or the Intensivo. It was between this and Intensivo but my gf preferred Cuba.

This quickly became my daily reach. I work 12 hour shifts in a healthcare environment and so I have to be mindful of how my fragrances affect patients. I appreciate that this does not project too much and potentially trigger nausea among patients. Whiffs of this scent gives me calm and pleasure (and a touch of escape). The longevity is long enough to get me through my shifts. Not quite sure it's my signature scent yet. I am considering buying another bottle in fear they change something about it in the future.

I love this. I found the original Montabaco Intensivo to be pleasant when i sampled it, but it had a slight sharp note i did not like. This version is a bit more floral, less harsh and the drydown is somewhat more sweet. Longevity is excellent and the scent changes a whole lot through its duration.

Smelt almost every scent from this house, wouldn't say this is the best of the house, but definitely in my personal top 3. The opening is bright, citrus and floral stand out quite a bit, followed by woods and tobacco leaf, and dries down to a pleasant vanilla scent.

Actually, when I watched many YouTubers, I heard them say that this perfume was different and that even if it was the original version, it was definitely worth buying in Cuba. I don't think so. The original DNA is definitely very similar, the only thing that was done here is to make it more unisex. While the original version was more masculine, a woman could wear this one with ease, I think that's the difference. Frankly, I had high expectations, so I was disappointed. I wanted to say that I definitely don't think it's worth buying while the original is available. I can't give a negative rating because I'm in love with this DNA.

Cuba is a nice floral scent, but it has neither originality nor uniqueness — just an ordinary, clean floral fragrance. Even the sharp Verano is better than this, and Intensivo surpasses them all.

So the article of this fragrance has different notes listed. Which one is correct? Article states: Top notes of orange, bergamot, and juniper give way to a floral heart of magnolia, jasmine, and freesia. The base adds depth and sensuality with tobacco leaf, sandalwood, and vanilla.

Feels lighter and slightly less gourmand than my 2023 bottle. Maybe it hasn’t had time to macerate fully. It’s still an absolute stunner though. The florals really lift this.
