Montabaco Flor

It's described as "Seasonless. Tantalizing. Ravishing." And I would have to agree. This is beautiful, elegant and refined. Silk like smoothness. It takes the Montabaco dna and intensifies the florals and I get many aspects of them. I get the fluffy, fuzzy textures but somehow crisp and soft watery notes, slightly vegetal very pleasantly fragrant like petals soaked in a glass of tea. Quite the photorealistic bouquet. Now I like my masculine fragrances just as much as I like the unisex ones. The backbone of tobacco, suede, oakmoss slightly ambery keep it from leaning too feminine. I'd imagine this to be worn by a uber masculine man who you would see and think they'd be wearing Viking by Creed or YSL's Kouros but instead you smell this and it completely floors you because its unexpected one, but 2 because it works (I just described myself btw). This kind of fragrance could tone down and soften the ruff edges of the someone who might initially appear to be brazen or unapproachable. I find certain floral fragrances especially if done like this to be quite regal. And of course this would be delicious on a woman for sure. According to the reminds me of section this resembles Haute Luxe and I'm like where Sherlock 🧐🧐🧐

Montabaco Flor is quite an out-of-the-box beauty. There’s this beautiful dance between an abundance of florals, some aromatics, and a hefty tobacco base. It leaves a slightly powdery scent trail. I honestly think it smells similar to Clinique makeup powders from the 90s - 00s, such a nostalgic and comforting scent for me personally (not sure if Clinique products still smell like this in 2025). A great balance between notes, something Ormonde Jayne seems to do exceedingly well.

I blind bought this and I'm not disappointed at all! In fact, it's amazing! It's very hard to describe this scent. It's a musky floral with spicy aromatics. The most gorgeous feminine cardamom opening 💕 I'm not a floral perfume type of gal but the way it's done in here is magnificent and I think that it's thanks to the suede/tobacco combo. There is a bit of a vintage nuance to it that some people might not like but my goodness it's so good. I highly recommend you get a sample first. Seems like a year round scent, perhaps not the best for summer days (yes for summer nights). Performance could be better.🫤 I will update this as I wear it some more. 🙂

Nothing common with Roja Haute Lux, had a chance to compare side by side. Musky, fresh, floral, with spices and a hint of tobacco.
