Undergrowth

My favourite from the discovery set I picked up - brings to mind walks in misty mountains and rich, moist soil. Liking the cherry was a surprise for me; I normally find them to be overly sweet and artificial like cough syrup but here it adds a lovely sweetness to the earthy richness. Getting a full bottle as a present to myself once I finish the first draft of something I'm working on.

The cherry in this is the most noticeable note and lasts the whole way through for me. It's less of a syrupy cherry flavoured scent and, combined with the earthiness and cypriol, smells more like a cherry sapling or tree bearing fruit. Sweet but slightly moody, lovely for a rainy day. Lasts well, not huge projection but not a skin scent. Unexpected fave.

This is cool girl in dark red lipstick at the underground bar. My first impression was that ant poison stuff bc of the cherry note, but I like this a lot. Its warm, comforting and fortifying. I am not usually a fan of cherry but it just blends so well! The amazing staff at lore perfumery in melbourne added this into my order as a freebie and they chose very well :)

this is definitely an earthy musky scent the cherry i don’t get as much i get it as a sweetness but i wish it was more present i love the earthy musky amber combination in this

The cherry is fleeting. This is a photorealistic soil floor with ivy vines growing over it like a web. Think of any type of gothic/horror movie that has a scene where they are getting wrapped around by vines and dragged into the earth. This is what that smells like. If it had almond (They say decaying bodies smell like cherry and almond) this would be a body decaying in the earth somewhere where it shouldn't be, wild flowers growing on top. I loved it the second I sniffed my arm. It was a sample from LORE and I had no idea what the notes were but immiedately fell in love. When I came here and saw the notes i knew why. The earthy soil notes get me everytime. This is going on the 'To Get' list. To the person below saying this is what an alternative Baddie would wear at a nightclub. You are correct. I would be that alt baddie wearing it. It is for a darker soul who has an unhealthy obsession with Death. This is melancholic, meditative and transportative.
