Oros Pure Leather Gold

This is a very interesting fragrance in my experience. I was really impressed, and I’m not going to review it by comparing it to another perfume that it might be considered a dupe of. I’d rather judge it as a fragrance in its own because it definitely deserves the credit, there’s a more here beyond “just a dupe.” In the opening, I get a rich and dominant scent, exactly what you’d expect from a fragrance with notes like these. The opening is strong and punchy, and I actually like that unlike a lot of people. Honestly, I’m never put off enough to write off an entire fragrance just because of the opening, though I can understand why some people might be. After a short time, it starts to improve and becomes smoother, more pleasant, and genuinely enjoyable. after smelling it and then checking the note breakdown, the notes describe the scent very accurately. This fragrance is perfect for winter nights. It leans to be masculine but I can still imagine it on a woman because of all the rose notes. Longevity and projection are good and it’s worth the price. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments when wearing it, and I really hope they keep producing it because unfortunately it doesn’t seem that popular. I think the best way to describe this fragrance since it’s from Armaf, is to compare it to Club de Nuit but not because of the smell. Club de Nuit is a dupe of Creed Aventus, and it almost managed to outshine it, especially in terms of value for money and performance. Sure, a lot of people complain that the opening is harsh, but I honestly don’t get why that matters when the opening sometimes disappears before you even make it out of the house. So overall, I think this fragrance delivers a scent and a value for money that’s absolutely a worthy competitor to the original.

I think my nose is broken. At first this smelled very leathery right out of the box. Now that I’ve had it a week, it smells IDENTICAL and I do mean 💯 exactly identical to Sehr Al Sheila by Swiss Arabian. Just a teensy bit less strong. I mean yes, it’s still very nice since I own and love that one, but this is a head scratcher for sure. Hoping it’s a phase and will be different in a week. Will update later if it changes. Update: OK now if I sniff the cap, it smells exactly the same as Sehr Al Sheila and Areej Al Sheila layered but once sprayed after a few minutes, it smells more leathery and more its own thing, but still reminiscent of the two. Fine with me, love the profile. Very nice. Doesn’t smell cheap at all. Hoping maceration will improve performance but might be going blind since it is very strong. I do love this fragrance.

What a banger, 10/10. I also have two other clones. Lattafa ombre nomade privee couture and paris corner Lueur D’espoir Ambre. While lattafa is around 80% close, paris corner is around 90% close to oros. In the opening armaf smells more expensive, has that depth that the other two are missing. The sweetness in oros is delicious. While lattafa kind of falls apart later in the dry down, paris corner actually gets similar to oros in the dry down but it takes time to develop, while oros just keeps on going and holds the consistency from the get go trough the dry down. You can tell there are high quality oils in this perfume. If you can find oros just get it. I paid 100 euros for it and it was so worth it because it is extremely hard to get it and smells amazing. If you can find the paris corner clone it is also a great buy.

So, I own this, and Ombre Nomade, and obviously the OG is better because of the quality of the oils that are used. That being said, this is no slouch, and the performance is nuclear after a little maceration. I would say the raspberry is more apparent in the OG, and the oud stands out as well in the OG. The leather in Oros is more prominent, and it's a nice leather. I would say this is a great substitute, as the price difference is huge, and Oros has massive performance as well, but not as well blended, and perhaps has rougher edges. I tend to agree that this hovers around the 80%-85% similar to the OG. Great frag.

Beautiful fragrance very long lasting beautiful blend very strong projection basically Ombrè Nomade but I prefer this alot more

Amber woody leather slight sweetness from the raspberry Oud is in the background long lasting has a high oil concentration

This is basically 1:1 LV Ombre Nomade and costs a fraction of it. I pity those who can't get hold of a bottle of this.

Insane quality for the price, it has all the right nuances for a great oud scent.

Super colon of omber nomad 10/10

Amber, wood, mildly rubbery rose and leather. Smells like a purse. This one is a lot like most Middle Eastern cheapies I’ve owned; better but still in the same league. Maybe I just can’t get into these leather based scent profiles. I understand it’s a quality clone of the LV inspiration. Masculine, strong projector. Longevity is eternal ☢️.

I just got it today and it definitely needs to macerate.. I sprayed it about 10 times and now will put it away in my closet. I will revisit it after 4 weeks.

Blind buy. I don't like it at all. The scent is so strong and overpowering it makes me sick. I regret buying it and hope I can still sell it.

I am a big fan of Ombre Nomade and bought Oros Pure Leather Gold based on some of the reviews. To my nose this is quite similar to LV Ombre Nomade in the dry down but they are not identical though. When I smell them both side by side on my skin, the opening of Leather Gold (LG) smells very synthetic when compared to Ombre Nomad but no surprises here considering the difference in the price between the two. After about an hour, they start to smell about 80% similar but LG is also little rough around the edges and is not as refined as Ombre Nomade. As the name suggests, I also find the leather note a tab bit more prominent in LG in the dry down. However, I am happy with the purchase as I plan to use this more often instead of reaching out for Ombre Nomade, so that I don't burn a hole in my pockets.

I have been able to compare this over many wearings with a large sample of the OG. In addition, I have or have owned many similar frags such as The Woods Collection Royal Night, Scorpion Intense, Oud Noir, and Lueur D’espoir Amber. Hands down, Oros PLG is the best dupe of LV ON. This frag is of very high quality from start to finish with no chemical or alcohol smell at all. I am very impressed with how smooth, projecting, and long lasting this is. The only noticeable difference for me is that the OG projects a tad more beastly. Very Impressive. Update: Maybe I’m going nose blind but after multiple months the juice seems weaker. Looks like Scorpion Intense 🦂 is the best overall quality. The Woods Collection Royal Night is the best performing more masculine version for the $$.

THIS IS LOUIS VUITTON OMBRE NOMADE BUT IN A DIFFERENT BOTTLE, I CURRENTLY HAVE BOTH FRAGRANCES ON MY TWO WRISTS AND BET THEY ARE 99.9% SIMILAR IN BOTH THE SMELL AND THE PERFOMANCE!!!! - IT IS HARD TO FIND AT THE MOMENT, BUT WHEREVER YOU SEE THIS GRAB IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! IM NOT PAYING A DIME FOR LV OMBRE NOMADE ONCE MY CURRENT BOTTLE RUNS OUT!! - Forgive me for screaming hahah, I’m just blown away by the scent and performance of this one!

This fragrance is all you need 1 to 1 of ombre nomade LV... very strong and quality stuff worth every penny
