Viride

One of my favourite fragrance from Orto Parisi! Smells amazing, this masterpiece smells exactly like fragrance what i want to find for a long time and finally I found it. All i know about this fragrance before: Green fragrance, bring someone good memories or bring back to childhood. So i don't expect anything really good or gorgeous. HOW IT SMELLS: I will not say exactly, as I am writing from memory. Well, to begin with, it smells like a real forest, everything I wanted to find, as I already said. The forest composition is played beautifully, masculine, and most importantly realistically! Compared to my other favorite forest perfume, Orlo by Mendittrosa (you can view the review in the profile) it is more realistic, but not at all sweet. While Orlo smells like a sunny meadow of flowers in the middle of the forest with a little bitterness and an earthy undertone, Viride smells like the rawest forest after the rain,in which you can feel the wet leaves on the ground, the moss on a fallen rotten tree, to be honest, I didn't even believe that it was a perfume, and not the smell of the Slavic forests to which I am so used, I don't want to keep quiet about how this perfume changes over time, and I can't help but compare it to Orlo again. At the end, these two aromas become different, harsher, Orlo loses the sweet accords from the flowers, and becomes just a dry harsh, maybe tropical forest, and Viride becomes woody, dry, the shades of foliage and moss weaken a little, the smell of streams and wood shavings appears, it resembles a sawmill, and this does not mean that it becomes bad, it becomes niche and unique, maybe someone will find a note of medicine, somehow the perfume is very earthy and forest, so it can resemble various medicines that are made from the roots of certain plants, but it doesn't smell like medicine to me. If you're wondering what kind of tree it smells the most, I think it's a pine or any other conifer. Now I feel like I don't have enough words to describe the beauty of these two fragrances... But now I understand people who say that this perfume takes me back to my childhood, this perfume reminds me of my father's deserted village where I used to spend time. CONCLUSION: Worth every penny, the unique aroma, persistence and trail adheres to the standard of perfumes by Alessandro Gaultieri, one of the best perfumes for spring and from the entire Ortо Parisi line (for me it's either number 1 or number 2, only Seminalis competes with it). RATING: LONGEVITY:10/10 SILLAGE:10/10 (Idk for sure, it's based on the characteristics that were on the paper blotter) SCENT:10/10 Top notes: 10/10 Dry down: 9,5-10/10 (it smells only a little worse than at the beginning, maybe I'm trying to find negatives where there are none, and all because I'm sure that Orlo can't be that much worse (2 points)) OVERALL:10/10 Hmmm, it turns out that Viride is better than Orlo, seriously, I wouldn’t say so, Orlo is certainly a little worse, but not by that much, not by such a margin of 2 points out of 10, especially since I can’t say exactly about the train Viride. If I have something to add later, I will definitely write about it.

First of all I must say that I am in love with this scent, and somehow that makes it far more difficult than usual to describe - as though the associations and emotions cloud my nose. I'm happy with the performance overall, but I had hoped it would have a similar extreme longevity as others by Alessandro Gualtieri (Nasomatto Pardon for an example of one I've tried) but on me it sits about 3-4 hours (edit: my partner says he can still smell it on me after 6 hours, but he can't really make out notes only that I am wearing a scent). Initial spray brings a wave of established bohemian garden, not a flower garden but a verdant and cooly humid earthen space. The greenness is fairly mossy which I love, and it reads perfectly unisex to my taste. It evokes a slightly fantastical image of a classic european forest growing inside of a warm wooden house where you sit by the fire with someone you love. After 30 or so minutes of unfolding wandering scent it stabilises into something new that reminds me of tree bark after rain, folded jumpers in hardwood drawers, but not straight up resinous woods. There's a light hint of animalic in the dry down, but nothing at all offensive to my taste. When it blends with my skin I sometimes think I'm smelling the tiniest bit of spice tempered by dirt, and at other times a faded hint of petrichor as though travelled through the halls of an old building. Suffice to say that I don't agree that it's just a linear, old fashioned, cookie cutter fougere as some negative reviews seem to find it. It's a fougere with a few secrets hidden down the garden path, and I'm happily chasing their shadows. Edit: Having now received my FB, I have to add that the packaging and presentation, bottle, and cap, are all of absolutely exceptional quality. I feel that Gaultieri strives to invite a sort of reverence or ritualism to our engagement with the application of scent here, and that it succeeds at least in the unboxing. I am hesitant to dispose of the box! But I will be strong, as I must not become the type whose sentimentality fills rooms from floor to ceiling. This scent reminds me of that, with its hay-harvest un-soapy cleanness (not that it isn't quite a dirty smell at points, but there is a herbal cleanness that evokes unpolluted nature and organic agriculture) - as though whispering from my wrist "you don't need clutter". The more fragrances I smell, the more I love this. It's unique. It's perfect. Also, it has better longevity than I first thought, in that after it's faded away I ocassionally get a brief delicious whiff of it when moving my arms.

You wear a Berluti suede jacket, its deep brown hue blending with the earth, while your boots move soundlessly, the quiet crunch of leaves beneath you the only sign of your passage. There is a stillness, a reverence to the forest, as though time itself pauses to allow you to take it all in. The fragrance that clings to your skin is Viride by Orto Parisi—a scent that mirrors the forest itself, both fresh and ancient, green and raw. It opens with the sharp bite of green notes—clary sage and basil—like the crisp air you inhale, the first touch of nature as you wander deeper into the woods. The scent is alive, effervescent, like new growth breaking through the earth after the first rain. There’s an earthiness, a warmth to the fragrance, as the fresh green notes start to settle into the heart of the fragrance, where moss and cedarwood begin to emerge, grounding the scent in the deep, woody richness of the forest floor. As the fragrance deepens, it takes on a darker, almost animalic quality. The musk and patchouli combine with the raw greenness to evoke the deeper, wilder parts of nature—the uncharted, untamed places that lie beneath the surface. That's first and foremost patchouli. It's a bit earthy, a bit chocolaty (not much), but first and foremost green and fresh. It’s not musty, not punchy, very clean green woody and soily, bitter. There's also some eucalyptus-like freshness in the opening (delicate, not aggressive) and the lots of the minty aspects of patchouli. I'm surprised, I’d bet my hand on it that there’s incense in here - a lot of it (or maybe it comes from cade oil?). The base is overdosed on cedar/pine/juniper and palo santo notes (and, of course, the patchouli). Don’t listen to the ‘minimalist approach’. This is very complex, they just have untrained noses. I’ll add sage, rosemary, even some oud to the mix, a bit of animalics, some leather, thyme, tonka, star anise, geranium, carnation, clove, Vetiver, oak moss, tarragon - and I’m sure there’s more, I’m just forgetting something or can’t distinguish it. This does smell A BIT like those thin mint-filling pralines (After Eight these are called in my country) especially in the opening before it gets incensed and ever more soily bitter. This very slightly reminds me of Imaginary Authors' Cape Heartache, except the fact that there's no fruit in here, and Cape Heartache has lots of strawberry. It's not the same, but if you forget the fruit and wait an hour these are in the same ballpark. Not office safe, not everyone likes patchouli. To me that's a spring, early autumn fragrance, daytime. Will last you a whole day, but the projection becomes moderate in about 5 hours. Now, a very personal note - this screams clean, bitter, green masculinity. Of course, nobody can tell you what you can, or cannot wear but me personally? I know not a single woman that fits this fragrance’s profile. This is a very green woody Fougere.

Viride – Orto Parisi I reached for Viride because I read: "green, herbal, forest-like, wild." And yes, I got exactly what I wanted. Only in the version: an abandoned garden after the apocalypse. The first hit smells as if someone took freshly cut grass from an old cemetery, mixed it with wormwood, mugwort, and lavender, then threw it all into a damp cellar where nobody has opened a window for twenty years. After an hour it becomes genuinely beautiful — a dense, feral, obscene forest. As if you walked deep into a spruce forest after rain, where the soil is wet, needles stab your ankles, and the air smells of rotting leaves, old tobacco, and the musk of a rutting stag who has just finished ruining everyone's peace. In the base, that classic Orto Parisi green dirt appears: wet bark mixed with the sweat of a man who spent all day turning soil with his bare hands, then wiped himself with nettles and sage. The whole thing smells like a grandfather's abandoned garden after nature finally took legal ownership: everything has overgrown, everything is rotting, everything reeks of life. There are no flowers here, no powder, no "fresh laundry." This is raw, bitter, green nature with its teeth bared. Longevity? Like an absinthe hangover. On skin it sits for twelve to fourteen hours. On clothes — until the next wash. On the psyche — for life. Marketing says "Aromatic green fragrance." They should have written "For people who want to smell like a wild forest after animal orgies and botanical decomposition." Rating: 10/10 This is not perfume. This is wet, bitter, green poetry about how nature would absolutely destroy us all if it had thumbs. I will buy another bottle as soon as I finish therapy and bury the last polite remains of my femininity.

Kupiłam Viride, bo przeczytałam „zielone, ziołowe, leśne, dzikie”. No i kurwa... dostałam dokładnie to, czego chciałam. Tylko w wersji „porzucony ogród po apokalipsie”. Pierwsze uderzenie pachnie jakby ktoś wziął świeżo skoszoną trawę z cmentarza, zmieszał ją z piołunem, bylicą i lawendą, a potem wrzucił to wszystko do starej, wilgotnej piwnicy, w której od 20 lat nikt nie otwierał okna. Po godzinie robi się naprawdę pięknie – pachnie jak gęsty, dziki chuj w lesie. Jakbyś weszła głęboko w świerkowy las po deszczu, gdzie ziemia jest mokra, igły kłują cię w kostki, a w powietrzu unosi się zapach gnijących liści, starego tytoniu i piżma jakiegoś napalonego samca jelenia, który właśnie skończył rykowisko. W bazie pojawia się ten charakterystyczny „zielony brud” Orto Parisi – jakby ktoś zmieszał mokrą korę drzewa z potem faceta, który cały dzień orał pole gołymi rękami, a potem wytarł się w garść pokrzyw i szałwii. Całość pachnie jak opuszczony ogród dziadka, w którym natura wzięła sprawy w swoje ręce: wszystko zarosło, wszystko gnije, wszystko śmierdzi życiem. Nie ma tu kwiatków, pudru ani „świeżości prania”. Jest surowa, gorzka, zielona pizda natury. Trwałość? Jak kac po absyncie. Na skórze siedzi 12–14 godzin. Na ubraniu – do następnego prania. Na psychice – do końca życia. Projektanci napisali „aromatyczny, zielony zapach”. Powinni napisać szczerze: „Dla ludzi, którzy lubią pachnieć jak dziki las po orgii zwierząt i rozkładzie roślinności.” Ocena: 10/10 To nie jest perfumy. To jest zielona, mokra, gorzka poezja o tym, jak natura przejebałaby nas wszystkich, gdyby tylko mogła. Kupię drugą butelkę, jak tylko skończę terapię i pogrzeb resztek mojej damskości.

A few months ago when i tried a sample of this i wasnt impressed and i kept the sample bottle...Then i tried Halston Z-14,which i thought was just alright but very one dimensional and boring to use more than a few times...I started reading reviews about Viride and i was more intrigued...Smelled the sample at home again and decided to - i gotta be honest,impulsively buy a full bottle and it was worth it..This is one of the tamest Orto Parisi/Nasomatto fragrances i tried,but you must try it on skin...I might be insane and anosmic but now after trying this on paper it smells exactly like Phillip Plein No Limits..On skin it starts very green and sharp,reminds of a healing/cooling gel you would apply after being sore from training..I also get light rosemary in the background mixed with alot of spicy herbs..This gives me a similar vibe like Encre Noir but with way more herbs and plants...If EN is a church in a forest, Viride is the actual dark and deep forest with no sweetness...Around 30 minutes in it dries down to a classy green Halston (obviously 50x better)....Very light compared to other OP scents so i go around 5-6 sprays with this one,aiming a few to really get on my shirt...Lasts around 6 hours on skin with heavy projection first 2 hours and 12+ hours on clothes...Bottle is beatiful and the copper cap leaves a smell on your fingers...Really original niche feel so just own it..Any ocassion is good but the perfect would be a warm summer day while you drive to the forest away from town to chill with friends..You can use it any season,it doesnt bite back like the rest of the line so you can overspray to boost longevity...I highly recommend

If you are looking for a perfume that embodies the concept of primordial green, . The Green you don't expect, not the green of classic "green" perfumes that are fresh, light or smell like cut grass from a suburban garden. Viride is wild, profound and almost ancestral. The name itself derives from Latin and recalls not only the color, but the vital force of nature. The beginning is bitter and balsamic. Absinthe and Artemisia create an almost "medicinal" and pungent aromatic sensation, only partially balanced by Lavender, which here is not relaxing but intense and earthy. The heart is glorious, the declared Jasmine is almost imperceptible as a single flower; rather, it serves to give a slightly creamy and "alive" texture to the heart of the fragrance, preventing it from becoming too dry. The Bottom, the secret forest: This is where Viride shines. The mix of Fir, Juniper and Cedar evokes the smell of a humid coniferous forest. My second Orto Parisi fragrance besides Stercus. I bought this because my gf cannot stand heavy animalic smells and Viride seemed like the mosta pproachable, even Megamare and Bergamask are too strong for her and for most people as a acent profile so I thought this would be a great fragrance since I love Alessandro Gualtieri's work. I love it so far, it starts off with aromatic green notes that remind me of sage, lavander and mint perhaps. It truly evokes the image of greenery but the drydown is quite unexpected. The first time I wore it, I picked up some damp, earthy notes that reminded me of the fallen leaves which have been soaked in the wet soil, which makes sense since it was inspired by a Yemeni floral crown and greenery itself. However, today, I detected some sweet and musky notes that really intrigued me to be honest, I like how this fragrance shows something new everytime I wear it. It belongs in the fougere family imo, aromatic and green but also a bit heavier than most scents in this category. It is very masculine to my nose on my skin, this is a more mature scent but really makes you think of nature and earth. Really refreshing and wearable in the Orto Parisi line, it's not funky at all and it's very complex. I would highly recommend it if you love Gualtieri's style.

Alessandro Gualtieri fragrances never declare any of their notes, but we might as well do away with the Fragrantica notes list as it is so inaccurate and incomplete. At the opening, I detect something unmistakably green that quite literally tickles my brain. There's a slight rush I get from sniffing it up close, like when you sniff eucalyptus. Then, as it dries down, the patchouli takes center stage as a middle note, 100%. It gives the scent this sweetness, almost reminiscent of sweat from sun-kissed skin. It isn't funky, fecal, or body-odorish at all, but I find that it gives it a slightly animalic quality—making it lean even more masculine. It has exceptional longevity and projects moderately throughout, but as the top and middle notes fade with time, a musk and sandalwood base remain, giving this a wonderful, creamy quality after several hours. I have not smelled Dries Van Noten's "Santal Greenery," but I picture that to smell similar to what this smells like after four plus hours. On the note of fragrances that feel similar, the immediate throwback for me was Polo Green, my dad's signature scent back in the day. This was actually my first ever blind buy, and I was very pleasantly surprised. I love this.

This is top level perfumery, a niche florist salon in a bottle. It literally smells like if you walked into a flower shop where florists are creating awesome bouquets of flowers with the scent of snapped leaves and the smell of earth lingering around and filling the air. It filled a gap I was missing from my collection with a green scent that brings a vibe like the freshness and the birth of life in nature after winter ends and springtime comes. Performance is great for a green fragrance, though it's not a super fresh green scent, it's got much more depth than the usual freshies and it's very artistic, projects well beyond arms' length and lasts 12+ hours on my skin. Should be very careful of spraying as especially the opening can be quite overbearing, for an office day 1 spray on the chest under the shirt is just enough for all-day long. I love Gualtieri's imagination both when it comes to Nasomatto and Orto Parisi, this scent is quite easy to wear compared to his other creations and it's super inspiring. Fun fact is that I messed up an order and this arrived instead of Terroni I was planning to buy, but I love it so much that I decided to keep it and order Terroni later.

Viride by Orto Parisi Viride is a dark, foresty type of green. It’s not fresh-cut grass or crisp herbs, this is more like deep wilderness. The fragrance is extremely complex and has a raw, earthy character that makes it one of the most interesting scents I’ve tried. Out of the whole Orto Parisi line, this might be the most wearable, and honestly one of the best. The fir and juniper give it this sharp, almost metallic edge, while the wormwood really pushes the green aspect into overdrive. It paints a picture of a forest where nature has taken over—overgrown trees, thick moss, broken stone, and wet roots. There’s also a bit of tobacco buried in there, adding a smoky, slightly dirty vibe that gives it texture and weight. Now for the downside: the opening straight-up smells like piss. No way around it. It’s harsh and unpleasant for the first few minutes, but thankfully it settles into something a lot more enjoyable and complex as it dries down. Projection is moderate. It doesn’t shout, but people close to you will notice it. Longevity is solid, I get around 8 hours on skin. Rating: 9 / 10

I come from the interior of Canada so call me a little biased, for foresty evergreen scents but This fragrance is just gorgeous. In the opening your nestled deep in the undergrowth of a temperate rainforest, fog weaving through the trees and there's a strong smell of petrichore and damp cedars in the air. The dry down is where Viride really shines. In the dry down the raw scent of the forest gets beautifully balanced out from what I would guess is the tobacco and lavender. It softens the dark and almost somber tone of the forest floor into a beautifully composed symphony of sweet yet slightly smokey evergreen. Theres something atmospheric about it -it feels like your alone in the temperate rainforests of Canada. Quiet, a little mysterious, a little somber and when the rain passes and the sun breaches the forest canopy, its sweet. Others my not like this scent but for me its less of a scent and more of a place I recognize, my home.

Pardon + Absinth = Viride I didn't understand why people compared this to Pardon until now, this has that same medicinal, almost aniseed-like sweetness from Pardon with Absinth's fresh greenery on top, creating an extremely nice fougère in the process. Brutus focuses on the chocolatey patchouli, this instead is much greener and aromatic, more shaving cream-like. Very clean, refreshing, masculine but not too mature and definitely not outdated. I'd love to own this but I got tired of Pardon's medicinal sweetness so I'd most likely get tired of this as well, I might get a 5 ml decant of this and I'll be sorted. This is also my new favorite from the Orto Parisi line. Performance is really decent in general. Moderate to strong projection, moderate sillage you'll smell for a few hours without a problem. Longevity is an easy 8+ hours.

Very reminiscent of pardon but goes into a fresher green minty direction. This constantly plays between warm spices like clove and fresh spices in the dr-down. Deep into the base it’s mainly a bubblegum-patchouli accord like pardon but with the addition of Ortos signature musky base and some additional green notes. Overall I find it to be spicy-green take on patchouli and don’t see it as a fougere in the slightest. This honestly made me quite miss my old bottle of pardon that I got rid of because performance issues that ironically I find this to be very similar in the sillage department. Despite that I love pardon and this equally. My main criticism with this fragrance if I had one is that this plays it almost too safe. I’d love the musk accord and to be ramped up

Big love. Very verdant and warm and a little bitter/herbaceous. Does remind me of a forest. Smells sorta similar to Polo Green but this has a lot more sweetness from the tobacco and lavender, also much stronger. I haven’t smelled Bracken Man so I can’t compare to that one. To my nose the tobacco is the major player besides the green notes which all kinda blend together. Definitely masculine leaning but I think a lady could pull this off if it was her thing. I kinda dislike most feminine frags anyways. Projection is potent, from my bottle two sprays is more than enough, any more would be overwhelming and choke out a room. I don’t think I’d wear this to the office or a wedding, but this would be great for an outdoor bbq, camp out, or similar thing.

I hate most green fragrances, something about how they are perfumed.... yuck. However, this one really stands out, and I honestly enjoy it! This is the first one I have tried from the brand, and it did not disappoint. Really piney, earthy and fresh. Reminds me of being out in the woods on a early fall afternoon, surrounded by pine trees, with debris everywhere on the ground. Now here writing about it, smelling the strip, I need to pick this up. Really reminds me of my childhood, being outdoors and just messing around with friend, a really calming fragrance, and that is what I love about perfumery. One single bottle can bring back hundreds of memories. Lasts really well and projects nicely as well. 8.7/10

Just got my full bottle after testing a decant. I love this, I am a huge fan of fougere, green, aromatics, traditionally masculine scents, even though I am a woman. I was looking for a green scent suitable for colder days, not something fresh and cologne-type of perfume and Viride it is. Smells green but foresty, earthy and spicy, it is perfect for colder weather. I am surprised cloves are not listed as a note since I can smell them more than other notes such as jasmine. I enjoy the juniper as a base note, it goes well with the cedar and fir without smelling christmasy, but more like a dark damp forest. So not an usual green perfume, but a green aromatic masterpiece that can only be Orto Parisi.

Beautiful green scent. Start of as very green/herbal and with what i can smell on my skin to be some sort of blackish peppar. It dries down to a more woody body scent. It projects just as i like it. first 2 hours it really strong almost potent like strong. But then becomes a body smell that last 8+ hours. The dry down is much more "comfy" and not so aggresive. People say its a old mans fragrance but i don't agree (a lil biased because i just got it) but i belive if you use it in the right situations and are able to wear it. i think that also younger men can wear it. lovely smell overall, really detailed and not like any other green herbal smell that i have tested out. 8.8/10

don't get lost in the marketing sauce. this fragrance is really wearable and super safe! smooth leafy-green top with a creamy musk backbone, lasts all day. it's moderate projection which means nobody will get offended, making it wearable in enclosed spaces and at work - unlike some other nasomatto/orto parisi scents! works in all seasons; spring summer really brings out the fresh greenness of it, while fall winter accentuates more of those sweet musky base notes. as with all of his scents, alessandro gualtieri did a great job making an all-around likeable fragrance, sprinkling in some of that marketing magic to make it seem way more difficult than it really is!

Now this is a fragrance i like. Green and fresh in just the right ways, leaving you smelling like you went bananas in your grandparents herb cabinet. I feel a heavy minty feeling on this, even though it is not listed as a note. It makes the fragrance much more suitable for cold weather, even though the rest of the fragrance does not correlate to that, at least in my opinion. It is supposed to smell like the country of Yemen, and i think Alessandro hit it on the spot. First time i sprayed this on, i felt like a whole new man. All around a beautiful fragrance, you could call it a masterepiece. Bought it for 160$, and i think it was worth every single penny.

Gorgeous super green, dry Fougere/aromatic. Only reason I didn’t buy a FB is it’s extreme likeness to Histoire de Parfum 1828. Almost a dead ringer except not as smooth and drier, slightly muskier as if someone crushed some stems with it. 1828 is a touch more syrupy and sugary. That and it’s relative closeness to Miller Harris Fueilles De Tabac made it hard to justify. I have all three on me at the moment lol. If I was on a budget and could only have one it’s be a tough choice. All well made, all strong with delightful sillage. Maybe 1828 would be the choice for me ultimately but if green sweet Fougere is your thing you’ll have to give these a try...

This is my favorite springtime fragrance. It smells like herbs and wood in the opening and dries down to a calm, almost creamy, forest. I get pinecones, cedar, juniper, and resins in the opening, and then lavender, cedar, and a clean musk in the dry down. Above average sillage and longevity. I get around 9 hours, with a good, but not too overpowering, sillage throughout from 4 sprays. Many people say this is a mature mens fragrance, but I have to disagree. This could be worn by a calm person of any age. I'd even go so far as to say that if you like the smell of a pine forest and want to smell like one, this is blindbuy safe.

I had been looking for something that encapsulates a tree smell really well. Ethel Cain recommended this so I ordered a sample, and it did not disappoint. The fir and wood smells mixed with a spicy scent make this fragrance incredibly alluring. I imagine a beautiful woman laying on a bed of spruce branches sipping warm cider. There is a fascinating way how the warmth of the spiciness of it cuts through the wintery coldness of it. The opening scent is sharp, and then as it is worn it fades into a warm hug. Love it and definitely will be something I wear often. I want to try layering it with a smoky fragrance.

You are in 5th grade and you go on a school trip to camp in a forest. Clouds cover the sky and heavy rain pours on the entire area. Lightning strikes and its getting dark already, You take shelter in a tent and your dad lights a cigar next to you while you slowly fall asleep. You wake up and take a look around to see fog, and the petrichor of the wet trees dancing around your nose. Its the colour green shoved into a bottle. note that its quite heavy on the spice at least in my opinion. 8.5/10 Very pleasant and harsh in a good way.

Damp and herbal, and of course very green. Maybe the greenest of all green fragrances, its also balanced perfectly with tobacco and lavender. This doesn't project as much as some of the other perfumes from the line, but the longevity is still great, usually 10 to 12 hours. Like the rest of the Orto Parisi line, Viride is very visual, it takes the wearer into a dark forest with dewdrops on the ground and tall trees overhead. A comforting sweetness emerges in the drydown. One of the most perfect scents I've tried.

This is a very interesting smell, green, foresty, herbal scent, that for me is perfect for the Spring, lasts very long, almost a whole day, sillage is not too strong, but for this kind of scent it doesn't need to be strong. When I first smelled it, I smiled a little, it evoked some kind of innocent memories, like the sent is hugging me, telling me everything is going to be alright in the end. I think this is my most beloved scent, the more I wear it, the more I love it

It's such a nice fragrance, personally i thought it was light and smooth, not to mention it's a more of a mature smell. I'm relatively young but i feel like it really fits my enviroment and personality. I'd say this is a personal use fragragrance meaning that you probably wont get compliments outside. it's more of a personal smell if that makes sense. It really depends how close other people are to you. Anyways, def worth the buy it's sweet, green and playfully mature.

Alessandro Gualtieri is actually extraordinary, thus I've been so excited to try this one. And it definitely did not disappoint!! How I picture of this perfume is basically when you cross the damp lawn and enter an old library on a rainy day in England. An old gentleman with tobacco scent on his trench coat walks pass you and you get all the smells at once. So amazing!! However I would not consider buying it because it smells old, best for 40 yrs old man.

If you like a green scent, then look no further. Viride is somewhat overlooked in the brand, especially online, but I find it to be one of the best; it ranks #2 in my ranking of all of them, just behind Terroni. It is very aromatic and woody, with a slight, damp, forest-like scent. It also has an herbaceous sweetness to it. This dries down to a dry, woody kind of element. I love wearing this to nights out where you want a bit of an elevated scent.

Possibly the one and only green scent I enjoy. I've wanted this in my collection for a hot minute and I'm glad I spent the money. It comes across sort of piney and minty to me and I have no complaints. Only thing that seems sort of odd is that it's overpowering at first and mellows down quite quickly. Seems to last me the entire day or night however. If you're picky about green and woody fragrances I'd definitely give this one a chance.

A significantly elevated version of all those stereotypically masculine perfumes that people buy for their dads as a gift. It has all the usual masculine elements, but delivered with a much softer touch. This perfume actually is what all fragrances with that “for the rich, sexy man” marketing schtick try to be. Good projection without being overwhelming, and amazing longevity (over 8 hours on me, from a single spray on my wrist).

whenever i smell this perfume i am immediately transported into a mossy forest where the sky is white and the oxygen saturation is high. energy is flowing everywhere around me. the oxygen is suffocating, i am going to die but in the best possible way. girlfriend doesnt like it as much. she says its very present and assertive in any room. lasts a bit less then other Orto Parisi perfumes, i'd say around 8 hours. 10/10 for me

got this today and is my second orto parisi, first was terroni which is amazing. - i get green herbal notes mixed with deep woody notes. feels a bit oriental with a slight spice to it. - would recommend only if you have tried the orto parisi line and sample others first. - long lasting and is pretty powerful but not too intrusive, the only off putting thing may be the price but it was worth it for me. 9/10!

I reach for this one when it’s grey and stormy outside, wet leafs blowing from the trees... this is autumn in a bottle! It also has a certain coziness about it, which makes it so nice to wear indoors, when it’s gloomy outside. It is also the perfect one to wear on a forest walk during indian summer. I’m getting great longevity, especially on clothes. Very unique blend, true niche imho.

Turns into a subtle and beautiful sweetness on my skin. Picture a dark forest in the green mountains. Rain, damp earth. A woodfire was burned a while ago and the sweet smell of smoke is still in the air. This is what I like to imagine my soul looks like and therefore this is what I like to imagine my soul smells like. Orto Parisi might just be becoming my favourite house <3

I dont find this harsh green its has like patchouli sweetness in it but really green masculine scent I kinda find this similar to brutus its been 4 hours now and its skin scent but this is really good now I dont think its green scent its smooth clean version of brutus because of patchouli. There is %100 patchouli in it I love it

Green fresh and honestly nature in a bottle imo lol I love this... it’s really nice and honestly everything I want in a “green” a Fougere fragrance. I like Tis a bunch, but honestly it doesn’t stick to me for very long. It’s nice nd unique I genuinely enjoy it. I just kinda wish it stayed for longer than 6 hours.

Bought a sample of this recently and am thoroughly impressed. Somewhat masculine with a strong pronounced cedar smell in the beginning with some sweeter notes mixed in. The dry down was great, very sweet and earthy smell overall and I will definitely be purchasing this soon in the near future.

Wear it and you will step into a mysterious rainy pine forest. Its green and earthy.pine is very loud in this one but it feels good.not fresh at all but beautifully blended however you may have your old man’s perfume vibe from 80’s.performance is pretty good though. 4/5 Age:+35

That's a very beautiful green fragrance :) like you walk in a forest after the rain, longevity is very good i get 10hrs longevity, but sadly the projection isn't beastly it's just moderate. Def worth checking out beacuse it's a very welcoming step on a niche world :)

This scent is NOT for summer, please save it for fall and spring, this one smells much better when it's cold outside, it also lasts longer. So yeah, don't be like me, don't waste your... I wore mine around 17 times, my bottle loose little bit less than 1/4...

Many years ago i had a dream of getting lost in a forest early in the morning. The crisp air, grass covered in dew, moss and old coniferoua trees. Then i discovered an abandoned dusty moldy stone tomb deep in the woods. It’s all in this little bottle.

One of my favorites aot, what a masterpiece. Incredible performance and it smells so amazing, I love green scents and this has the added tobacco that makes it absolutely beautiful. Will 100% but a full bottle whenever I get the chance.

Very minty, very coniferous, like a pine tree smeared in toothpaste, if that makes sense. First fragrance I thought of when I smelled it was Bottega Veneta Pour Homme, it's just a stronger version of it, smells almost the same.

When the scent is sprayed for the first time, what first comes through the pipe contains heavy smoky scent. When you wait a few days and spray again, you will reach the real scent. It is a light pleasant precious fragrance.

a green, woody perfume. reminds me of Pardon by Nasomatto because of the oud scent. i think there's a trace of pepper and aromatics and smoke? absolutely love it BUT this isn't a blind buy!
