Bella Blanca

a beautiful clean creamy floral it has such a unique vibe about it.. yet has a familiarity.. to some retro clean creamy powdery white florals.. from the past but it has such a new twist in having an extremely bubbly effervescent shower gel freshness about it a unique clean yet opulent dense yet airy formula ..a beauty in this day and time ..it's rare to find such a mix its usually either an extremely clean accord that flees the scene in ten minutes or sugary frutchulie that aches for hours or a burnt tar synthetic smokey accord.. i was hesitant when the lady at the oscar de la renta boutique offered me this knowing its release year! and was just not too hopeful !also because i have an aversion or some sensitivities when it comes to indolic white florals but i was pleasantly surprised.. not straight away.. but after a couple of sniffs..and on paper.. it smells like ponds cold cream mixed with something really clean and floral.. a pink/green/white soft classy/classic tangy/powdery dusty/floral accord.. it smells like a classic in a modern formula.. it smells like how i would imagine a bella blanca would smell like a beautiful cheerful yet elegant lady wearing a white hat and a flowing white dress walking in the french riviera ..maybe siping afternoon tea with scones and clotted cream!the perfume smells like it has a clotted cream accord that's very cold though! it does have some similarities to the latest modern cashmeron type of floral musky scents things like mon by guerlain or gucci bloom or the eau fraiche type of scents from different companies it has that shower clean freshness in a dense way all over it is like you smell you've just walked out of the shower and went through a floral garden and were sprinkled with scented pink vintage boudoir type of powdery by pixies and fairies ! honestly its a beauty in its own rights.. it's like nothing else i've smelled in the market in the past decade it's not your regular light florals nor is it your opulan frutchulies its a unique mix of both worlds which is not an easy task but they have somehow managed to merge the best of two worlds together my review is based on me smelling it in the shop and having it in front of me in a test paper i will definitely go back to recheck it and see how it goes ..something about the clean floral powdery acord reminds me a bit of eternity moment layered with maybe my name or delicate roses both by trussardi or baiser vole by cartier the pink floral flankers even hints from romance by ralph lauren ..its like a clean white pink almost sweet tangy crisp clean powdery almost creamy accord with translucency and opulence in an airy extremely wearable way

This is lovely. Smells amazing and much stronger when you first spray it, but that settles nicely (and quickly) into very inoffensive and light. I'm more into stronger scents, but there is a time and place for this gem. I'm loving this straight after the shower. Very office safe. The perfect scent for a young person graduating from body sprays and mists. But there isn't an age limit for perfume and I'm far from that age, and love it myself. It's winter here, I think this would shine in spring and summer. You likely wouldn't have to be so heavy handed to get better mileage from it in warmer weather. Right now, it's not lasting on my skin, but definitely staying on my clothes. My sweater smells amazing still, the day after. I do find myself having to respray every few hours, which isn't a big deal because I found 2 bottles at a pawn shop for peanuts and bought them both. The bottle is gorgeous and looks expensive but seems cheaply made, so keep it in the box if throwing it in your bag. Feels like part of the "flower" design might chip off if not handled delicately. I also wouldn't want to have to clean this regularly after it collects dust sitting out on a shelf. So I'll be keeping them in their boxes regardless. Someone said it reminds them of Elizabeth Arden's "Pretty", which i also own, so I've been layering them together and they are a lovely pair! Alone, this reminds me of Ralph Lauren's Woman. A much milder version though - Woman's little sister, perhaps. If you love the former, you may appreciate the latter... or you may cry because she's not as loud as her sister. There are moments where she is a little more synthetic, but not much and those moments don't last on me. Give her a chance, she's very sweet. Not like candy and licorice rot your teeth out kinda sweet, though a slight bit, she's more green, floral and quaint. Much easier to wear. Much less loud or offensive. I can't wait to try this in warmer months. She's clean and fresh. An easy grab, easy wear perfume. Can't see myself getting sick of this one ever. I love powdery scents and this has just the right amount to not only be warn after the bath or shower, but perfect for before bed too. A man told me I smell amazing the other day after I put this on. So there's that.

*happy sigh* I smelled this a few months ago when I also smelled Bella Rosa, but I told myself I could only purchase one, so I got Bella Rosa first. Today, I happened upon it on sale and was so excited to finally add it to my collection! Both are absolutely beautiful and feminine fragrances in their own way. Where Bella Rosa is rosy and sweet, Bella Blanca is light and fresh. If I hadn't smelled this before purchasing, I would've been a bit hesitant knowing this was classified as a "white floral" because when I think of white floral perfumes, I think of very strong fragrances with prominent flowers like gardenias (I know gardenias are not in here) or sharp green notes and it's a bit much for me to take. But to my nose, Bella Blanca is just so soft and pretty. I don't pick up any individual floral note, it's just so beautifully blended, nothing is sharp and it doesn't give me a headache. I detect a hint of pear only at the initial spray, and it plays perfectly with the florals to give it that touch of sweetness. There are certain fragrances I smell where I'm constantly aware of some note that bothers me, but this one, it just works on my skin effortlessly. I can see this being appropriate for every day, for work, going out for brunch, cocktails... It doesn't scream for attention but if you were to lean in close to someone wearing this scent, and you get a beautiful waft of fresh, sweet florals, you'll want to lean in closer for another inhale. This is fresh, light, feminine and perfect for spring and summer :) The bottle is also stunning. I love this one :)

What a loveable, well-composed fragrance from Oscar De La Renta! I've always wanted something from his olfactory arsenal in my wardrobe and finally was able to get a 50mL of this. And the display is just beautiful - my sister tested this while fragrance shopping and fell in love. She wants to get it for her wedding but I went ahead and purchase one as soon as I could afford it! Haha! A symbol of quality and style, I see "Bella Blanca" remaining in my wardrobe - it's a strong perfume and though it may lack the skanky musk I so crave at times, you know like the one in Kim Kardashian "Fleru Fatale" or perhaps Beyonce "Heat" ODLR's "Bella Blanca" is so smooth and creamy with enough complexity to prevent the composition from becoming linear and boring. Fantastic for women of all ages who appreciate a full- on floral. Excellent for day and night, just apply to suit. Lastly, the gorgeous bottle hides the colour of the juice within and I appreciate that - a full, well rounded, competent fragrance. UPDATE: Just gorgeous with a scent of a salty sea breeze, not fishy eh...just that touch of zesty sea salt wafting at you with the lovely florals. In time I will purchase a larger bottle.

Okay so when I first sprayed it I was thinking I made a big mistake in blind buying it because all I was getting was alcohol and lemon cleaning spray but I'm glad I pushed through that crazy opening. Because after that it becomes fresh but in a lovely way, very white floral a bit of the green that gives it some zest and I can't smell the pear but definitely a bit of tuberose, with a background of powdery and very light musk. Gives it some elegance without being overly immature in my opinion. Smells like a clean pretty girl, what I like to smell on my daily life. The bottle is absolutely beautiful and I love having it in display. I think for the price, it is totally worth it, it might be my next office scent in the near future, I don't even mind if I have to retouch this during the day as it means I'll get to look a bit more at the pretty bottle. Makes for a beautiful gift too as the smell seems pretty crowd pleasing.

I have to agree with the review below mine: this is mainly rose, a suave, gently woody rose with a hint of white flowers. To my nose, on opening it resembles very so Moonlight Patchouli which I equally love, with the difference that in MP the patchouli rocks the rose, whilst here the woods back it. Absolute delight! It is a nicely balanced scent, persistent without being in your face - aside for the initial 5 to 10 minutes upon wearing. Longevity is amazing (about 8 hours) and sillage at arms length, which is what one would expect of a good perfume - so it can be perceived without suffocating people around us. I highly recommend to any rosewood lover. Oscar de la Renta never finishes to surprise me with his creations. His are underestimated ones. I give this a full 10 and will definitely buy again. Winter, evening use, but could work for daily occasions too.

Funny, this to me smells like a more floral forward version of chanel chance eau tendre. I love it. It hits that spot when I want to smell clean and pretty but it’s a light scent and funny enough it has great lasting power. It’s a light thin veil of fragrance that’s perfect for my work environment. I had this sitting on a shelf at home for over a year and never wore it. I don’t know why? I just didn’t. Yesterday was the first time I wore it to work and it’s perfect. I enjoyed smelling it on me all day at work and it lasted and lasted. I could still smell it when I got home. This is beautiful and elegant fresh and clean and feminine and the bottle is stunning.

I have been looking for years for the perfect white floral dominant laundry scent. This to me is that. And it is sooo good. I consider it my dumb reach scent, but that only means that this basically never bothers my senses or feels wrong. This is so perfectly concocted IMO. So LOTV gives it that laundry, sterile sort of vibe. But where in a lot of white florals, it screeches, its very subdued here. Tuberose is warm and fuzzy, especially with base notes of musk, iris and sandalwood. Its like a dryer sheet. The pear makes it sweet, without making it a decidedly fruity perfume. It still keeps it clean. All together it's just so well done.

I just found this on a sale and I love this fragrance! It is a better version of Juliette Has A Gun Pear Inc. Starts with white flowers and lot's of pear and a hint of green and orange blossoms. After a few minutes there is a musky scent with lot's of pear and a hint of the flowers in the background. It is a subtle musk with a very beautiful dry down with it. It's fresh and not at all too sweet. This is very much the everyday scent but I could also see this as a wedding scent. The bottle is beautiful and has kind of a romantic feel to it. I think this scent should get more love. I'm glad I found it. Juicy pears is delish. :))

I bought Bella Blanca because of its purported resemblance to EA My Fifth Avenue which I love but find a tad harsh. So, Bella Blanca does indeed recall My Fifth Avenue in a more delicate way, but, alas, it has the opposite problem in that it is far too faint. I'm so sad about this because it really is such a pretty scent that, although quite similar to many of the Chance Eau Tendre style scents that I already own, has a little something extra in the scent profile (possibly the tuberose..) that distinguishes it. According to the batch code my bottle is quite new so I'm hoping that as it ages it will become stronger.

I love it so much 😍 My first perfume that's the definition of classy and elegant. This is a spring perfume no doubt. In my mind it takes me to a wild flower field in a white dress. It's fresh, clean and happy. It also smelled somehow familiar and I think there's something that reminds me of Viva la juicy which I also love. Like superrr watered down and refined, more adult and classy version of it. Also reminds me a little of Daisy wild but this one is so much better and less green. This is also much softer and feels more refined. Can't wait for spring to wear this more then!

In love with this fragrance. Maybe it’s not the most complex and unique, but that’s not what people want to smell like all the time. On me this smells similar to Chanel eau tender but more musky, creamy, and almost slight vanilla like in the dry down on me with the beautiful florals still lingering around. It’s definitely more on the fresh side. I adore it, and it actually last on me. Definitely an everyday kind of scent for me and perfect for work, while also being beautiful enough to use for dressy or elegant occasions. 10/10 Edit: turns powdery and gives me a headache

My best blind buy so far! Can't believe it's so good! Perfect everyday signature scent that I relate to! Unique yet familiar. First spray, I didn't pick up anything specific.. a bit later the jasmine came through which I wasn't so kean on, but then...it morphed into something so beautiful, light, feminine and lovable! I think this might be my signature summer scent! After Chanel Chance eau de tendre, which is my signature scent now, but doesn't last at all. Luckily Bella de Blanca is very similar.

I’m surprised again and again how different people tastes are ! To me it’s such a nice inoffensive scent. Yes, it’s not my favourite type of scents , but this one is an easy grab, nice, feminine scent. Soft and clean out of the shower. I also loove the bottles of Bella line and collecting them :) I like scents of Bella Blanca and Bella Tropical the best. No 1 beautiful bottle for me is Bella Tropical, soo beautiful even my husband loves it 😂

delicious scent! very juicy, fresh, and clean - a wonderful floral pear scent. not overpowering in strength but still very present. it’s sweet without smelling artificial or sugary in the slightest - the juicy pear tilts all of the florals much closer to fruity than herbal which makes the scent so airy and clean. this is a perfect fresh-out-of-the-shower scent, especially for spring. i’m rarely a fan of florals but this is a standout for me!

Bella Blanca smells strikingly similar to Woman by Ralph Lauren! The pear and tuberose create a fresh and sweet blend and the lily gives it a hint of green. It's so stunning. I would wear Bella Blanca for a wedding or during a romantic setting when the weather is warm. It's just incredibly feminine, soft, elegant and romantic. I really picture a woman wearing white when I smell this... Longevity is 4-6 hours on me and sillage is quite soft.

This is a solid fragrance, nothing stellar, nothing terrible. Sweet white floral with a powdery musky base. Longevity is not the greatest and projection is ok. This for the price is a decent white floral scent that is inoffensive and very office work friendly. You could also use this as a gum scent or a day date/trip. It’s just easy going and light.

This is so beautiful. Bella Blanca is what I imagined Bella Rosa smelling like before I had experienced either fragrance. I like Bella Rosa, but the patchouli comes on too strong for me. I love Bella Blanca. To my nose it’s a rose scent, subtle rose, surrounded by beautiful notes that make it just perfect.

To me it smells like as if you are living in a small countryside town, it is 6 a.m. in the morning, you just took a shower and decided to have a walk through endless meadows of wild flowers. Incredibly fresh, feminine and floral scent. Blind buy safe

This is a beautiful white floral fragrance. It can easily be worn as a bridal fragrance. On my skin, it smells like powdered sugar and white florals in the softest, most feminine way possible. Unfortunately this fades quickly on my skin.

I smell marshmallow, it's very sexy and clean and sophisticated, a sexy teacher would wear this or sexy librarian comes to mind update : so beautiful but fades in less than two hours , can't believe this is $81 for 50 ml , sad

I just purchased this beauty and I must say this is absolutely gorgeous. This is by far the best smelling combination of white florals. The tuberose is absolutely divine. I can see me wearing this all year round.

Fresh white floral with a bit of fruit and green. Really lovely but very light. A keeper for me definitely.

I must say I really like it, it is at first a bright floral, with a green undertone,,but it is like a soft dewy green, nothing sharp .it seems real easy to like, easy to wear,..i don't get much tuberose, it is like not there, I get a soft jasmin, mixed in with the pear, which gives this scent a fresh juiciness..very nicely done..the nose behind it definitely makes pretty florals..the orris gives it a down to earth quality..without being earthy...this is like interesting, not plain, not boring..it is like not classic per se, but with a timeless quality..anybody would like this, this is a crowd pleaser, without being lost in the crowd of florals out there....happy to own it, pretty bottle, it fits that sunny floral well.! I will add this isn't very strong, but it is ok..I don't think it will be my top scent, but one I will wear regularly for sure,I The dry down is definitely smelling great to my nose!

All those different white flowers listed in the notes somehow combine to smell exactly like peony. To me, Bella Blanca smells like a fresh peony perfume with a pinch of sweetness to soften any sharp edges. That being said, you probably already own something that smells just like this, i.e. most of the Victoria’s Secret body mists. I blind bought Bella Blanca simply because the bottle is gorgeous and I like to display pretty things on the shelves in my office. I’m actually pleased that the scent is wearable. I was afraid it would be too much rose, but it’s not. If someone walks in my office and wants to try a spray, I won’t have to do the awkward explanation that I’m a weirdo who keeps a bad-smelling perfume just because I like the bottle lol.

I selected this scent through Birdscent to try it before I make a commitment to a fragrance. Spritzed allover me this morning and went to work in my home office. My scent was floating along beside me. Sprayed it on and it was loud like "I'm going to be here for a while!". By my morning break I sniffed my inner wrist and found nothing, OK...maybe it's me. A huge spritzing again. By lunch break it's gone again. I've had to spray it on every 2 hours to keep the scent going. Upon first spray it's strong and vibrant florals. I waited as it dried down and it was powdery. But at the 2 hour mark the scent was flat and gone. I won't be purchasing a full bottle. Well, on to the next in my never-ending search for the "perfect perfume".

I recently tested this at Dillard's despite my usual avoidance of white florals. I was blissfully surprised! I left Dillard's with three carded samples and plan to pick up a full bottle. Bella Blanca is a beautifully creamy, slightly sweet, fresh but soft white floral of Freesia, Jasmine sambac and Sandalwood (according to the official notes listed on the sample card). I do sense a bit of creamy tuberose and Casablanca lilies playing supporting roles to freesia's peppery opening without the detergent soapiness that is often present in many a white floral fragrance. Sillage is a happy medium but longevity is fabulous! I think I'll be wearing this as my wedding day fragrance next week!

I'm a Bella Rosa fan, and have been wearing it now in mid-winter. I wanted Bella Blanca also in my collection, knowing that it has tuberose, which is not my thing. But I trusted the opening notes, I believed they can make the dry down more tolerable, and they did. I can handle the tuberose-jasmine combo. This is an ultra feminine scent, very classy. Bella Rosa is more gourmand, sweet and playful. Both have the mood lifting element in them. Bella Blanca is a very beautiful white floral fragrance. The ideal time to wear it would be spring. This is also a wonderful gift for someone (like for mother''s day) who loves white florals and classy feminine perfumes. The bottle is.. beautiful.

Lily, rose, fresh fragrance with a clean musk base. Something that you spray on to smell clean, floral and fresh. I can only smell a little watery Nashi Pear and only if you ask me to look for it. Glad it doesn't include an over ripe pear note. Lovely bottle. Bella Blanco does smell like a less complex Eternity Moment. Makes sense, because Harry Fremont curated both these perfumes. I sprayed this on my clothes today. It's utterly gorgeous! It's a white musky floral with personality. I like it so much, I went out and bought Bella Rosa too. I like Bella Blanco better than Bella Rosa to wear. I like the pepper note in Bella Rosa, but it's a tad too sweet smelling for me.

I bought this after testing a few fragrances I intended to buy, but that were not performing great on the spot. Bella Blanca was a "ooh" type fragrance. Very clean, very pretty! It is summer right now and I could imagine myself on the beach or walking in lush greenery with this on. I know some would wear this to a "wedding" and you definitely can but I imagine a wedding at a nice winery - still with greenery. I've gotten compliments of being "clean" so definitely the perfect scent for gals who are pretty and clean!! Longevity is good - I can smell it on my clothes several days later and it definitely radiates as you walk!

An easy indoor white floral, romantic, simple fragrance to go for! The white bottle really matches the scent, it's clean and creamy, nothing offensive at all, I like to wear it after a shower, and whenever I intend to spend the day at home, doing nothing but chilling and relaxing! I get the same vibe of Joy by Dior, and many others white florals based fragrances, I was hesitant to buy it, and thought I will get bored of it quickly, but I'm so glad now to have it, using it frequently, due to the comfortableness I get out of it, wonderful for spring, longevity is good, sillage is moderate!

This is such a nice, fresh, fruity-floral. It’s not harsh or sharp in any way, it’s gently sweet and overall very enjoyable. It smells like shampoo in a good way. Actually, I wish my shampoo smelled like this. It doesn’t really smell like Chance Eau Tendre to me, that one is a lot muskier and the fruit is sharper and more sour. This is a very safe crowd-pleasing sort of scent, and it’s also not overpriced. I’d say it’s definitely a safe blind buy if you enjoy fruity florals.

I really love this perfume. For some reason it reminds me of the Axe my first boyfriend used to wear (I dont remember the name though). It might be a "safe scent" but I must say I don't always want to smell unique and incredible and be the center of interest. Sometimes I just want to smell good and run errands or do an activity with my friends and the kids. That's the kind of perfume I would wear. It's lasts around 4-5 hours on me

This was a blind buy for me because I already own the Bella Rosa and love it, and I just love the bottles. This is a lovely fresh, green white floral scent. If you like Gucci Bamboo, you'll enjoy this one as well. This one is like Bamboo but where Bamboo is more green and fresh, this is more white floral but they do share similar nuances. A very nice, easy on the nose, mass pleasing daytime scent for spring/summer.

This opulent blend of jasmine and tuberose makes loving bold white florals easy. The tuberose has a fresh, mellow sweetness and stops the jasmine from being to “screechy” as it can be a rather sharp floral note. A tinge of juicy pear, an orange blossom musk, and a soapy lily of the valley note. It’s very feminine and can easily be used as a bridal fragrance as it brings to mind a fresh bouquet of white flowers!

I have this in the lotion. Before I read the notes, I could have sworn that grapefruit was in it. Its light, sits close to the skin , fruity floral that smells clean. The lotion itself is very good quality and absorbed quickly I won't buy the perfume but ill keep the lotion. Sorry for the typos and punctuation errors . I am having vision issues and trying out a new keyboard on my phone .

This has a bright almost tart smell similar to Ralph Lauren Woman. I like it in small doses, even though I’ve totally burnt myself out on lily of the valley; the pear and tuberose come through more strongly anyway. It is a bit shampoo-ey as some have said, moreso than Woman which has the hazelnut that makes it more special to me. Projection and longevity and overall quality are good.

Very pretty floral that "matches" the bottle (which is beautiful, btw). A nice, greenish white floral that's perfect for every day and office use. I have a lot of white floral perfumes so I don't reach for this one that much, but it's definitely an easy reach when I want to smell good but not overpowering. A great perfume for the price point.

Absolutely surprised by Bella Blanca by Oscar de la Renta. It’s a real high quality white floral fragrance that garners compliments with regularity. It projects really well without any single note dominating, with the exception of the lily of the valley opening. That is stunning and quite singular for a time. Niche quality without doubt.

Just got it. White floral on the sweet side. I can strongly smell the pear, a ripe one. There is a candy taste after smell. Soapy but not powdery. Refined. I don't smell the green at all. I wish there was more green to balance the sweetness. Slowly slowly I am starting to avoid tuberose. I prefer Lily of the Valley or Gardenia.

Absolutely stunning bouquet of white flowers and a hint of tuberose. That hint could be a bit stronger because I love tuberose. It's feminine but a bit too soft on the skin (even for someone who isn't into overpowering scents, like me). I mean it as a compliment when I say wedding perfume.

Another pretty but generic and forgettable scent. The bottle is lovely and unique. However, the smell is a copy. Reminds me of My Burberry which was first copied by Chanel (Gabrielle) and then Versace (Versace Pour Femme Dylan Blue)! What has happened to the perfume industry?!

The opening is pear, then a small hint of green leaves. Jasmine dominates in the dry down, tuberose is slightly there. Wish it had more tuberose which I love ! Still a lovely scent but no longevity or sillage! Wish it could’ve been more powerful.

Green juicy floral. Smells good but is quite boring and doesn't last long. Have gotten some compliments on I but never feel excited to wear it. Where I live it's also a little bit over priced if you want to get a 30ml bottle to try it out.

Beautiful, timeless and powdery. Soft and gentle and suitable for young classic souls, too: despite de la Renta being known for popularity amongst older women, this scent truly could make it to younger hearts as well.

Light, inoffensive scent. Gives that fresh out of the shower vibe at first sniff. After 30 minutes it dries down to a beautiful white floral. It's not sexy, but it's pretty... I prefer it to Bella Rosa.
