I’m actually SO glad that it doesn’t have the Baccarat Rouge nuance that others have mentioned that they found in Burberry Her. It’s exactly why I didn’t like BH, and ordered this one. I also stay away from any perfume that has that BR vibe to it. Strawberry is one of my favorite notes and I’m happy to finally have a perfume with such a smooth version of it. Most come off artificial and plasticky. Thankfully, I do not get that in New York. New York is clean, effervescent fruit, soft musk, and a gentle dollop of vanilla bean crème fresh. Uncomplicated, happy, easy reach, so damn elegant and just undeniably pretty! Perfect for spring and summer. New York is very feminine, and gives vibes of high tea in a floral print dress while eating scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream. OR a brunch date in the sun with the girls while sipping mimosas and eating fresh strawberries with whipped cream. I blind bought the 3.4 oz bottle for a really good price and I’m so very glad I did! It’s yummy without being gourmand. And the more I wear it, the more I’m enjoying it. 👗👒🍓☀️🌸

Don’t sleep on this if you are the type of woman that likes a good fruity, preppie smelling perfume. This perfume has a fluffy vanilla sandalwood dry down with a sparkling strawberry and pink pepper opening. The rose is not a dominant note on me at all- it’s more of a soft background note that feels like a powdery rose ( soft and sweet and not green or sharp). Like the other reviews have mentioned the “doll head” plasticky vibe is there but in a good way - that smells comforting and not cloying. It’s reminiscent of Burberry Her EDP but to me Burberry Her smells more synthetic and cloying than this fragrance does. I have been looking for something like this for a while because it’s fruity and very buttoned up and proper and doesn’t have dark heavy base notes. I’d say it’s a great year round scent because it doesn’t have any strong base notes that lean into that winter or fall vibe. It also makes me happy to finally smell a good soft strawberry perfume that doesn’t smell cheap!

Wow. I absolutely love this. I can see the similarities with this and Burberry Her, but Burberry Her smells a little artificial for me personally, but I do like it. This is a beautiful floral yet sweet mix, and I am so so here for it. Will test out the longevity of it, but first impressions, beautiful.

Even though this perfume might not be the most original, It is truly a beautiful perfect summery strawberry and the vanilla is taking a backseat yet its so refreshing.Think sitting in a cloudy swing with bubbles blowing in a hot summery day, that's what this perfume does.

Absolutely lovely scent, this is what I thought Burberry Her would smell like. It's such a shame it only lasts about 3 hours on my skin and the scent bubble is close..

The performance of the fragrance is not too impressive, it may require a refresh to keep it going. It has OK sillage. The only minor issue I encountered was the cap. It can be a bit difficult to remove, but once it's on, it stays on securely, you can even pick the bottle up by the cap or travel with it without fear of it coming off.

Received this today and my first impression is that this fragrance is super powdery with rose and strawberry’s. Reminds me a bit of Burberry her elixir, PDM delina and Ariana Grande cloud (the pink one). Those 3 is not the same, but it got me thinking of all of those. Not sickening sweet. I’ll think this is a safe blind buy if you like powdery, sweet, feminine strawberry rose fragrances. So far I like it, even if it’s not my usual type of scent. This reminds me of pretty, innocently feminine girls with with floral modest summer dresses

My brother got this for me for my birthday 😊 I love the bottle, as for the scent it is a girly, elegant strawberry musk with powder finish, not too sweet or childish. It smells lovely specially in cool weather

It's a beautiful strawberry scent with rose. A blooming berry-floral scent. It has the similarity with Baccarat Rouge, but without any nauseting notes. This fragrance more reminds of Burberry Her for me. It's pleasant, delicate, feminine, but simple and flat. A good everyday scent, but nothing more. Longevity and sillage is moderate. I have to reapply it during the day. Simple, but wearable, nothing special.

Musky strawberry on the powdery side. Not my kind of scent.

I haven't done a review on here in a while. I feel like people are sleeping on this perfume. I bought the gift set from Amazon for $78. I am really enjoying this perfume. I get a small hint of the original Oscar De La Renta perfume 1977, it's the sandalwood that's familiar from that perfume, that's also in New York, but that's the only similarities between the two perfumes. New York is more of a modern perfume. The floral and sweetness are a perfect balance, and they blend together perfectly. I also agree that this perfume is good for day and night. I would like to see a flanker of this, I would love to see amber added if a flanker is ever made. To me this is the best Oscar De La Renta release since the original Bella Blanca came out in 2018. When New York dries down there is a slight powdery smell that is familiar and that's where I am getting that original Oscar De La Renta perfume, I am not sure everyone will smell this. You have to have some experience with the original to smell that.

I just blind bought this at Ross for $20 for a 1 ounce. I do see the comparison with Burberry her however I actually prefer this I own Burberry, her elixir and intense and I am selling all three I much prefer this composition a softer less synthetic strawberry note Mix with soft florals that is very wearable and not too sweet. I highly recommend trying it.

Burberry her without the Baccarat as princesskitana has said. It's a lovely, natural smelling strawberry-floral, very easy to wear. I was hoping to for something to replace the original valentina, which this doesn't do, however I have no regrets as it is a fresh, sweet, fruity-floral and the bottle is very nice.

Sweet, fresh yet bubbly and musky ! This is great for the summertime, nothing groundbreaking here just a really nicely done designer freshie that is almost soapy on my skin Wich I love. Got the 1.7oz for $17 at Burlington in Florida, that was a win ! If I find the larger bottle I would definitely repurchase.

Strawberry done right. No cream or utterly sweet stuff. This is a fairly sweetened strawberry, a little spiceness and a tad powdery. Absolutely gorgeous. It will be loved by all

To me it smells very much like Burberry Her but without this ,,Baccarat factor'' Upd: it smells even more like Optimystic Her FW!
