Just received this in the mail today, I had ordered it after watching the “I Like to Watch” episode featuring Jinkx! To start off, on my skin during the initial spray it’s very eugh, it’s a deep, rich, sour amber with a soft spicy overlay of woods. It’s very classy, it makes me think of a boldened rich lady who’s frail and shaky, but can pull off a MEAN fur coat whilst smoking a cigarette with her perfectly red lipstick, this perfume is one she has bought multiple bottles of and is the most used out of her collection of about 4-5 fragrances. After some time, the sourness and spiciness of the woods and amber is now the underlying base of this fragrance, mellowed out with the cardamom that transitions into a beautiful rose that is flavored by a mature, sweet, dark cherry. The old lady loves sweet fragrances and this sweetness and maturity is a reflection of her character! For an indie brand, I’d consider this price alright, it’s unique to this brand and it’s also technically a piece of merch for Mx. Monsoon. I have not explored the longevity of this fragrance yet but this scent profile gives very much LVEB (eternally lasting). I’m a younger collector and I am starting my journey with a mostly celebrity fragrances so this might be something I’ve noticed since my smell isn’t as evolved but when you initially smell this it it’s very breathy bourbon like for about a half-second till the rest breathes in. (What I meant by “eugh”) If you’re looking for something unisex and sophisticated, but not too ambery, woody; this is definitely worth the try! They offer sample sizes for around $10, support an independent perfumery!

This starts off (to my nose) as a dark syrupy cherry then soon becomes a more prominent rose note. Is there a such thing as a rose candy? if so, this is what I think it would smell like. This one isn't a love for me simply because I'm not a huge fan of heavy rose notes in perfumes, but there are enough other notes in this to make it a "strong like" for me.

I do not own this, have never smelled it, but am obsessed with it's existence
