Oh L’Amour

A breeze carries apricot and peach, soft and sun-warmed, like the first touch of skin against silk sheets. Bergamot and pear sparkle like laughter in a Parisian café—effervescent, flirtatious, full of promise. It’s the beginning of something. You don’t know what yet, but your heart already does. Whiskey enters like a slow pan across candlelit eyes—rich, smoldering, a little dangerous. Violet blooms in the background, powdery and nostalgic, like a love letter found in a drawer years too late. The sweetness deepens. The music swells. This is the montage: stolen glances, midnight drives, the world blurring around two people who only see each other. The light dims. Benzoin Siam and amber rise like smoke from a fading fire—warm, resinous, aching. Vetiver and oakwood ground the final scene, earthy and solemn, like footsteps echoing in an empty hallway. The love is gone, but the scent remains. It clings to your scarf, your skin, your soul.

YUM! I am not a gourmand lover but oh my GOODNESS this made me question why I restrict myself in that way! Spiced, warm stone fruit, picked at their absolute prime, simmered in brown sugar and whiskey until soft, sweet, and saucy. The smoky warmth of whiskey or bourbon, accented by brown sugar and cinnamon makes it delicious, sticky, sexy and a little daring. Wore this to a wedding in South Carolina during the middle of a very hot humid summer. Shockingly still worked in the high heat. It was refreshing when it needed to be and warming in all the right ways. Got compliments ALL night and I was DANCING. So performance is 10/10, no notes. Need need need full bottle. I have yet to encounter anything like it since.

This is absolutely gorgeous, a fruity ambery perfume that went straight on to my want list! Beautiful peach, pear, and apricot blended with creamy, vanilly, ambery scent. Gourmand but absolutely lovely if you like fruity ambers. Very impressed with most of the fragrances from this house and will be getting full bottles of this and several others (Hera, Diva Behavior, Disco Night for sure).
