Otto Kern Cool Contrast

This should be my review of Cool Contrast by Otto Kern, and the first on here. Unfortunately I'm not wearing Cool Contrast, but my carpet is. Allow me to explain. This particular fragrance sample was of a very clever design. You have to pull up a small tab, which in turn squeezes the small internal pouch, thus giving you a .3ml blast of the smell within. Unfortunately this is not what happened. I tugged up the tab, nothing came out. I tugged a little harder and it spat out it's small contents; up in the air and down onto my bedroom carpet. Not wishing to miss out (no, I didn't scrub my face into the floor) I had to pull apart the package and wipe the tiny damp patch onto my wrists. From that miniscule amount of smell I think it may be nice, very nice. A sweet vanilla with a woodsy afterglow. Had I not liked that small bit of fragrance I probably wouldn't have bothered with this review. Now I'm left with that feeling of what could have been. Could this smell be the one? I shall drop Otto Kern a line and see if I can get hold of another sample, something a little more substantial this time. Hopefully they'll take pity on me and help out. In the meantime I have the nicest smelling bedroom carpet in England. Probably.
