Blue Moon

This is absolutely DELICIOUS. Looking at the notes, as a gourmand girlie...I wouldn't really think twice about this scent. But having a tester of it....oh my god, this literally smells like vanilla buttercream. I have no idea how. I'm not aware of what currant smells like, so maybe that is the strong note here, but I truly don't smell water or lavender. Im not a huge fan of water scents....but this is mouthwatering (haha) I really think the notes should be re-evaluated because the smell is creamy, vanilla, frosting, sugar vibes. The first spritz and sniff is like what is smells/tastes like when you make fresh vanilla buttercream frosting at home and you put it to your tongue to taste test and it melts in your mouth. 🧁 Absolute love ❤️ but if you're not a gourmand fan, and you see these notes thinking it's safe....maybe steer clear...it's description is deceptive.

This smells so good! I got it in the discovery set and now i kinda want a full bottle. It's weird though because the notes listed is not really what I'm smelling. I don't care that much about lavender or watery scents so I didn't think I would love this as much as I do. It's also neither lavender or watery lol so maybe that's why... as with all Pacifica scents this doesn't last long enough and doesn't project after a few minutes which is a shame because I want this to smell up the room when I walk in! The price is good too!

I have a small sample of this, this is my favorite Pacifica fragrance after neon moon. It is sweet with a hint of fruity spice; reminds me of sour blue cotton candy. Unfortunately, this scent only last less than an hour which is its downfall. It's already a very intimate perfume (which I like) but it goes away so quickly that you are the only person that will smell yourself. Not sure if I would get the bigger version as this does not last long and might be a waste of money. 3/5

This is a great scent. Pacifica has a whole line of below par perfumes and a couple nice ones (this included), why in the world would they discontinue their best one. Even though I love it, I find Pacifica perfumes to be way over priced for their quality. They should charge about $10 or less for a bottle considering the scent doesn't even last 30 minutes. Maybe their target market is preteens. I am on board with the person who said they are not buying any more Pacifica scents.

Blue moon threw me for a loop but I do really enjoy it. Based on the notes I honestly wasn't even sure what to expect. It is hard to describe but on me it's a gourmand like a thick vanilla syrup. But there is this depth to it that grounds it maybe it's the lavender? I wore it this last Autumn and it worked so well with the cool weather and grey days that I absolutely fell in love with it. I don't think I would wear this in the heat it so I'm leaving it as an autumn scent.

I love everything about this perfume. I have two bottles that I bought for a hefty price on ebay because it was discontinued. It pisses me off that although they discontinued it like a year ago, they continue to sell a sample of it in their "Moon Moods" discovery set which makes no sense. They want us to discover it, but then never be able to get more of it? This perfume is my white whale. I wish they would bring it back !!!!

I love this one so much, and I'm sad it got discontinued. I've been trying to find a good dupe for it. I know some say it's similar to LDBS but although I love LDBS, they are verrrrry different fragrances to my nose. Pacifica's Island Vanilla is similar, but only lasts for 5 seconds and lacks the slightly "smoky" element that makes this one so special. I will say that the drydown of Aquolina Pink Sugar Berry Blast is similar!

The listed notes on this are so misleading! Also the seasonal indicators...this is definitely a cool weather fragrance. As the reviewer below me noted, it is very vanilla and smokey. A friend bought this for me, after we hadn’t seen each other in a long time. It makes me feel happy because of that association and of course it smells wonderful. I adore this fragrance.

I liked it. It's not pretentiously complex, I smell cinnamon and sugar too, but in a very light way. Feels right for the whole year, day and night. I'm no expert on aquatic fragrances, or any fragrances for that matter, but it smells sweet and cozy in a very moderate way. The lavender notes are really faint.

This is my favorite of the Pacifica Moon scents. To me, it smells just like a Lush store. As if you are walking down the street, and there is a lush store a few blocks away. You always smell it before you see it. This is the smell that wafts from the store.

This scent is just gorgeous. It reminds me of orange creamsicle chapstick I had as a kid, mixed with vanilla, slight musk, and allspice. It smells a little like a fruitcake actually. If you like gourmands, this is worth a try.

I like it. It reminds me of a less chemically Pink Sugar with a faint floral note. And I have a feeling this might have been Pacifica's attempt at a Vegan LDBS dupe since supposedly all the moon collection is

i miss her... cotton candy in a bottle the more mature version of spun sugar... so juicy yet such an intimate smell.. if anyone is selling this please reach out to me x

On me this is a soft gourmand. Close to the skin and not soapy at all. I don't smell any of the notes shown above. It's a very beautiful sweet perfume.

I really like this perfume. I especially use it just before bed as a nighttime usage and layering it with Zum Mist Lavender by Indigo Wild.

I'm really surprised to see the perfumes that people say remind them of this one. On me, it's nothing like Cloud, Fresh Cream, and especially not Burberry Goddess. The water notes are heavy on this one for me. it has a strange sweetness to it, with a hint of smokiness or synthetic-ness that comes off a bit plasticky. Some folks here have said it smells like a Barbie Doll head, to me it's not quite that sweet, but maybe like a sweeter play-doh type scent? I realize this makes it sound bad- but this perfume really isn't that bad. I bought it because someone said it smelled like cotton candy. It definitely doesn't come off as cotton candy on me, but I can see why people say it does. I like this one, but it's definitely not a love for me. I wish I got the marshmallow/cotton candy/bubble gum notes that others have described, but it just doesn't smell or wear the same on me. More of a smoky, watery, lavender. I recommend trying it out in the store and letting it dry down fully before buying. I do find that the lasting power is okay, about 5-6 hours, but it sits really close to the skin.

Overall: I like it so far, and it's growing on me but I have mixed feelings. I like the way it smells, but I’m not absolutely in love...I think it's because I haven't figured out when I would wear this. I am glad to have it in my collection but have to find its place in my life. Right now, I've been using it as a sleep perfume. Longevity is okay, not great. For the price, I think it's fine that it isn't super long-lasting. For stand out notes, I pick up the muddled lavender quite strongly in this perfume. It reminds me of lavender and musky vetiver or cedar even. While I find it feminine overall, it has a slightly masculine note, this touch of smokiness, but still sweet at the same time. The opening seems to have a strong vanilla/sweet note. Initially, I worried it might be too sweet/young for me. On the dry down, some of the soft sweetness is lost, there is this musky, spicy earthy note that emerges.

I don't understand this. Not the notes, not the bottle, not the name...it's a complete disconnect from the way this smells. Yet, this does smell GOOD. There's absolutely no currant to my nose, nor any aquatic qualities. It's a vanillic, warm spice and it smells like bubble gum dropped into a mug of warm milk with cinnamon. It's delectable, smooth, warm and creamy. Blue? Uhhh...more like soft light brown and beige, if you make any synesthetic connections, I think blue might be the last kind anyone would make with this scent. It is very nice and I find myself compulsively sniffing my wrist, it puts my mind at ease. I would want to wear this curling up in my favorite blanket to read on an autumn evening. I'm happily wearing this to bed, it's very cozy. It isn't heavy and might need reapplication, but it is quite affordable.

There is a flavor of ice cream in the midwest called Blue Moon. It’s primarily vanilla with fruit loop or almond/pistachio similarities. I’m not sure if it’s just because I couldn’t shake the comparison, but I swear it smelled like this. I used up my sampler and remembered liking how sweet it was, so definitely if you don’t want to be reminded of ice cream this isn’t for you. I remember not getting the doll/plasticky smell alongside the sweetness the way I did Silver Moon. Unfortunately the sampler nozzle broke so I can’t open up the empty vial to attempt to re-smell. One thing is for sure (and I am noticing a trend) - it doesn’t smell like the given notes. Will probably buy this eventually and maybe my opinion will then change overall but I am also not itching to buy it the way I was after trying Dream Moon.

I tried this out at Target this morning; it’s sweeter than I thought it would be. It starts out with the same ground-up SweeTarts sweetness that Flowerbomb does, but less obnoxious. The water notes tone down the sweetness a lot, but unfortunately the lavender in this gets toned down too. Since this scent is so light, it’s a great casual choice for warmer weather. Be ready to reapply it after a few hours, though 😅 This would be a fantastic choice for a first fragrance for preteens and younger teenagers because it’s so light and affordable.
