Indian Coconut Nectar

I am obsessed with J.R Watkins Coconut Milk and Honey lotion...and I inadvertently purchased it, in spray form, with this FANTASTIC cheapie! I mean, honestly, I'm absolutely thrilled. There are just a few subtle, subtle differences...and it's only because I'm so familiar with the lotion that I'm able to split hairs here. Namely, this is a little more vanillic...just a smidgen. The bottle (the new can style, recently released) mentions vanilla, amber and coconut as notes....so that baited me in. I actually hadn't planned on purchasing this, but those notes are lovely IMO and so I made an impulsive buy at Ulta. Well, this isn't really ambery, but it's ok, because I think this scent is kind of unbeatable. It's the perfect vanilla and coconut combo. It's smooth though, and both this (and the J.R Watkins lotion) have a buttery texture. I cannot explain it, but it smells *buttery smooth*, and although the packaging is a different color, this is a soft golden yellow in my mind. I suppose "whipped cream" makes sense as a note. I really don't care about the other alleged notes here - it's basically just coconut and vanilla buttercream. Super gourmond (shamelessly, really), and freaking delicious. I like B&BW's "Vanilla Coconut", but I have always wished J.R Watkins made a fragrance form of my favorite lotion (which...by the way, I've worn solo in leiu of fragrance, and recieve insane compliments in), and HERE IT IS. I'm astounded that nobody has mentioned it already. So good. One of my favorite cheapies ever (and I'm a bargain bunny, so that's high praise). I was so worried about the reformulation ruining this scent - it's my absolute favorite summer cheapie. Thankfully, it smells pretty much identical! However, I think this version is a bit warmer and smoother than the original. Very sweet, milky coconut, an easy reach for sure. The longer it sits on warm skin, the creamier it gets. The alcohol hits me a lot harder than the older version upon first spray, which is disappointing - I'm hoping that they didn't use extra alcohol as a filler when they upped the size of the bottles. Longevity isn't great, it lasts about two hours before fading into a barely-there scent (like most Pacifica perfumes). It does last a bit longer on clothes. I wear my fragrances for myself, but I did get complimented repeatedly the first time I wore this to work.

Beautiful gourmand coconut scent. Straight up vanilla coconut milk scent in the beginning, but it gets slightly sweeter and creamier as it dries down and you start to smell the almond and it turns into a very sweet almost cookie like scent. I think this could work year round with how sweet it is. I’m excited to play around with it and see how it layers with other scents.

I can’t express enough how many compliments I get on this perfume. When I walk by I have people asking where it’s from. Although you do have to reapply frequently (every 2 hours or so) it is genuinely such an incredible fragrance. I have yet to find anything like it. 10/10 Pacifica, I’m impressed :)

I love coconut as a food but am sometimes wary of the note in perfume, as it can sometimes be off-putting to me. This is a straight up edible, sweet coconut and I love it. Such an easy reach, sure to make you feel cozy.

This is a quintessential summer scent, something you'd apply for casual activities. Flirty and playful, the opening through dry down carry the coconut, enveloped in a sweet milky vanilla. The whipped cream is evident early in the dry down, but the amber nutty notes arrive later and are tame and notable only as a skin scent. I imagine this being a great accompaniment to your poolside wardrobe. If you appreciate a summer scent that leans gourmand without the strong projection and performance that might make it cloying, this may suit you. TSA approved bottle, so its perfect to travel to that tropical vacation.

Super duper sweet!! Similar to the Coconut Vanilla fragrance from Native, the vanilla and coconut work together to create almost a vanilla frosting effect. Hopefully it doesn’t have the medicinal drydown that Native’s lotion had on me.

a sunscreeny coconut scent that settles into a creamy and sweet vanilla coconut. pretty good lasting power, but doesnt project, but for the price im okay with that!

Not much to say about this one. Smells like sweet, creamy, milky coconuts. Makes me think of coconut shaved ice.

This was sooo much stickier and sweeter than I thought it would be; knowing Pacifica fragrances! I was hoping for something a bit lighter and fresher but nope it’s sickly sweet imo. But that will work for people who enjoy their coconut scents super sweet. I get the playdoh thing for a min? But honestly silver moon really gives the playdoh (I actually love that one ha)!

I'm getting a lot of play dough scent in this. Maybe I have to let it macerate. So far the old version is much better. I let it macerate and it got WORSE! Just straight up moldy play dough!

Damn, this shit is demonic, smells like expired coconut Playdooh with bananas, I dont know if Ulta gave me something expired even if the box says is not, but has a spicy smell on it, literally spicy, like when your grandma uses the blender to make salsa and its not properly washed and you do a Smoothie, took like 1 hour on my skin to loose that spicy, is really strong and bad, at the end after drydown, you get like a Lait de coco with less milk and a blend of coconut and bananas, its not listed but strongly smells like it, its sweet, but not in a pretty way, literally smells like coconut Playdooh with banana, if you are a coconut lover dont buy this demonic fragance, im actually glad is getting discontinued coz i fell on the Tiktok hype, i wanted this one for months and buyed on a sale online, but nah, its one of the worse coconut fragances I have smelled, smells expired, and i actually think is something going on chemically coz Playdooh when expired has that spicy smell, so something must be going on

No one has mentioned that this smells incredibly similar to Phlur “Heavy Cream” for a better price and with better longevity. This is what Phlur’s “Heavy Cream” wanted to be. The new formulation of this(vs the old formulation with vetiver and too much jasmine) is much much softer and creamier vanilla-coconut. This has a drydown of “baking cookies” as someone said, like vanilla extract and sugar and a dash of butter+coconut flakes It’s a warm gourmand coconut that I find has an incredible scent cloud when you smell it on someone. You will get tons of compliments with this, this is one of the most complimented scents I have and it is oh so simple but reliable.

It smells exactly like the milk after you eat lucky charms. It's not the marshmallow part of the cereal though, it's the other part. It's got this bread like quality to it with some sugar and milk. I decluttered it because that breadiness was too realistic. I will say I did like this version more than the first one but that's cause the first one was almost synthetic coconut.

Honestly better and stronger than the older version. Less play dough and more toasted coconut, reminds me of cream and coconut syrup, but... what are these uglyyyy bottles?? Like WHY fix something that is not broken. I loved the old bottles:( Should've just made them bigger if they wanted to increase the ounces

just bought this at target for 26$ and lemme say it’s amazingggg, it smells almost identical to comptoir sud pacifiques vanille banane and that makes me so happy because sephora stopped selling that brand and i just ran out of my bottle. im so happy with this purchase
