Felce Azzurra

Musk, yes, but just as the top of the iceberg. I am no expert, but I do have a nose. I smell iris, lavender, galbanum, moss or even vetiver, carnation or cloves with a dash of cinnamon. It's very powdery and slightly reminiscent of the fresh barber shop dandy-ness, sunday clothing, ladies with hats, pearls and gloves. My sister is a great user of talcum powder and this one is one of her favorites. It's a fragrance of the bygone era, when powder was used in abundance and perfumes were not marketed as male or female products. I love the fact that Felce Azzurra did NOT change the quality of their products (no allergic reaction ever!), fragrance or their packaging for at least 30 years. Update: I had a nice chat and a hug from a spunky lady in the middle of the supermarket. She smelled like Felce Azzurra. It was perfect. The body care is also perfect base for Habanita. Body lotion or talc make me feel fresh and comfy for hours, all year round, the spray is just a novelty thing.

That is how I found it too.....first the bath stuff....but I fall in love whit the scent then and there, many years ago........... I am talking about Felce Azzurra Classico because they came up whit different scents since then....Powdery smell , a little sweetness, a bit musky ....clean kind of scent.....I have body powder, the entire bath collection and the home products too.......I love it.....It has that comfort casual kind of smell....for when you go out just to relax, chilling whit your closed friends or whit your family, cozy moments in everyday life......it's a scent that stays all day and all night whit me if i am out of the radar.......You find it in Europe, mostly in Italy and at a very good price, good quality ....I recommend it for mothers to be , children, an everyday scent to wear when you don't have your perfume on....

For me Felce Azzurra is not just another perfume from the past; it's part of my childhood, it's beloved aunts, it's summer afternoon naps after hours of playing with my cousins at the beach, it's Mediterranean sunsets, it's holidays. I never run out of the Classico liquid soap and the soap bar and I still spray my linen with the ironing spray. But today I was lucky enough to find a rather new product and I purchased it without hesitation. It's the Classico reed diffuser! It's fresh and lovely and with only 3 rattan reeds my quite large living room smells better than an 5-star boutique hotel lobby and a wellness spa together! What else to say? I'm in love!

I LOVE this one !! This is the PERFECT replica of the talco, which is just perfect itself !! I found it by chance in a specialized Italian store here where I live in Belgium : I sprayed it on my arm, just divine !! Even my mother commented that I was smelling so good. Still I can't value longevity and sillage, but they seem quite good. And the price is such a excellent value : 4,60 € for the bottle. P.S. : This is absolutely unisex. Edit : Longevity is really good : I did one spray at 5.30 PM, it's 00.50 now and I can still smell it. Sillage seems almost correct, even if I have to test it in my neck to judge it.

I stumbled across this gem by accident while searching for another fragrance on eBay. It was so inexpensive and the reviews here were positive so, I went for it. I don’t know why the only notes listed here are musk but, there is more to this scent than that. Upon first spraying on I was transported to my happy place of a log cabin in the mountains listening to the water in the creek while smelling all the evergreens surrounding me. A beautiful burst of evergreen notes followed by a beautiful watery musk dry down. A great refreshing scent.

Very Italian, very weird and I love it. It smells like everything in Italy. Freshly washed streets in the morning, old ladies in black lace and just showered young men in white, little shops, hotel corridors and luxurious bathrooms. I wouldn't call it musky, but talcumpowdery, soapy, aromatic and unisex.

I too used the excellent quality bath products before buying the EDT.This gorgeous mossy,powdery fragrance should be listed as unisex. Perfect for everyday wear,when you just want a soft,clean scent.

My husband was cleaning out one of the third-floor closets, and he found this tiny, ancient, half-full vial of Felce Azurra perfume. I'm not sure if the remaining perfume is still true to its original fragrance; it was in the dark, but the temperature extremes have been pretty dramatic over the decades. I'm almost certain that it must have belonged to someone who died in the 1980s, and the bottle looks like it might be considerably older than that (maybe 1950s). When he showed it to me, I said, "I bet it's an Oriental, in the vein of Shalimar," and it turns out that it is. I definitely pick up on the powdery and musky notes, but I can also discern a bit of pine and possibly rosemary. It's nice, but a tiny bit goes a very long way.

Best perfume for shower gel & shampoo. Nothing smells like this. I also have body powder, deo spray. The deo stick I toss it because it irritates a lot and it has unpleasant & harsh alcohol smell. Now the eau de toilette is excellent for everyday use. The smell is divine and more appropriate to men I believe because of the strong smell of musk it contains. 80% day / 20% night perfume. It has the same smell as the body wash and the powder. It lasts 5-7 hours the best and i kept 5 bottles in the bathroom to have it for many months. Fabric softener is a disaster, its smell is very different from the "classico" perfume and does not stay on clothes after washing.

i think im one of the few Brazilians that had the chance to try this fragrance, i own the talcum, it was giving to my grandma in the 80s, and in 2025 it was giving to me, and i absolutely loved, it's simple, cozy, calming, reminds me of something, probably my grandma, it's literally a blue scent, notes of lavender, cold air, cozy sheets and hugs, i love to have this in my collection, specially being so old, and so rare in brazil.

In the late 90's I went on a three week trip to Italy as a first part of a sort of exchange program between schools. The beautiful, stylish, very sweet and confident blonde with whom I partnered used Felce Azzure in the shower gel formulation. The smell was so unlike the scents marketed to girls my age in America - it almost had a masculine, woodsy, sharp quality to it, and was very vibrant and fresh - and I was so captivated that even though her blue bottle of shower gel was used up, I kept it just to squeeze the bottle and have scented puffs of Felce Azzura air to sniff. Even the bottle seemed at once vintage, yet current; exotic, and most certainly foreign. I just ordered a bottle for myself today - yay, Internet shopping! <3 - and I love that the packaging resembles what I recall from 14 years ago. Update: What a trigger!! It's exactly the same as I remember, and it still has that amazing sweetness that kicks in after the first fresh crisp notes bow out. I forgot about that :) What a beautiful return! So happy :)))))

I'm not a fan of this one as I'm not a fan of the whole bath & home line. I like the classic soap bar. Since I can remember felce Azzurra talc was a staple in many Italian families. Supermarkets in lower shelves always have the 3 talcum bags: Felce Azzurra, Borotalco and Spuma di Sciampagna. They all make an Eau Fraiche now. An Eau Fraiche of Felce Azzurra is not something I ran out for buying. The smell is sooo typical that I cannot even say the notes. For me and for many it's just Felce Azzurra! Nothing else smells this way. I never smelled the post war version of perfume, but the present smell, well... it smells like someone that tries hard to be extra-clean, if you know what I mean. They also meake deos and I can smell people wearing that. Musk? Not really. It's more like a laundry powdery smell, like a powdered NR Essence maybe (that BTW smells nothing like real musk) or like Lolita Lempicka minus the fruit&sweet. It smells cold to my nose and like an acquired taste, not a love.

I bought the body powder in this scent and after powdering myself with it I realized even if I came across this EDT, I wouldn't need it. The powder's scent lasts. I put it on 10 hours ago...I can still smell it and not faintly either, it's crazy. This body powder is serious and if I use it I won't wear perfume that day. It's a very familiar, comforting kind of scent. Unisex to me. Sweetness, powder, maybe lavender, light and beautiful musk. I don't feel like I need to smell of this very strongly and have it project really far. But to have someone notice it when they sit really close to you or when they hug you is great. It's just lovely to me to have skin smell like this.

It's clear that musk is not the only note in this old European classic, but it's never clear what the notes actually are. Not only does Felce Azzurra offer this scent in their body care products, there's also other things. Like fabric softener. I'm mentioning the fabric softener because it actually has a note pyramid written on the bottle. I thought that was interesting. So the notes are as follows: Top Notes: orange, pine, rose Middle Notes: lavender, patchouli, petit grain, spices Base Notes: lemongrass, coumarin, musk edit - I can also confirm that the fabric softener doesn't hold a candle to the actual fragrance. The scent isn't recreated well at all.

Ordered a gift set today with the whole shebang, shower gel, shampoo, talc and eau de toilette. Excellent price! Hoping this will be my at-home, just-showered, fresh summer smell. Can ́t wait to receive it, will update. Update: While undeniably fresh, I have to say this is a tad too musky to be my everyday at-home scent...also, my teenage son has adopted the spray and says that in his opinion its a manly smell (much to my disappointment, its smells more appropriate on him than me...) The talc sprinkled on your mattress and clean sheets is still pretty awesome though.

Their redesigned bodywash bottle has the following info: Top: Orange, Rose, Pine Heart: Lavender, Petitgrain, Patchouli Bottom: Musk, Lemongrass That said, I have gone through a number of them (as well as talcum powder) and they're always the same: very unisex, very peaceful, very natural smelling. I enjoy them, and so do multiple generations of my family.
