The lavender smacks you on the nose when you spray it then after a few minutes later it settles down to become a powdery scent Very pleasant in the dry down, easy to wear , verstaile but a little weak This fragrance is from the few that I have in my collection that I believe they did a good job making it weak , well done

lavender and wood. Lavender is a lil stronger first but the woody notes start to balance out the lavender about 45 min in, from then on is a pretty scent, a linear soft, flowery woody summer scent, I like it.

The opening is all lavender and musk making it suspiciously similar to (and having all the same problems as) D&G Light Blue PH. Once it settles it improves. But this is a little more pleasant and easier to wear than the D&G - only because the musk is less overpowering. It must be said, I find neither easy to wear. (It has a likeness to D&G Light Blue in the way that others compare Pal Zileri Cuoio and Tom Ford Tuscan Leather). If I'm brutally honest, this reminds me of fabric conditioner. Maybe smellysock's "cosiest hug" is wrapping oneself in a freshly laundered dressing gown. Having said that, it is better than that. There are people who will appreciate the absence of a citrus in the opening, and the omission of the nearly ubiquitous tonka, woods and vanilla and so forth. But in the end this comes across as a sweet lavender musk. Although at its best well into the drydown, for me it is a classic "nearly scent" - meaning that I almost like it, but sadly don't. Can't help feeling that for the most modest of additions (I'm not decided what) things would improve considerably. A little leather, or suede? Possibly only a couple of florals - like fresia, lily of the valley, or Jasmine. Something that neutralises the musk. It was a blind buy that I regret. I'll wear others I prefer, and this will make a nice room spray.

This is a pleasant but weak scent with dominant lavender-musk. Manly, safe and versatile.

This wonderful scent is unlike any other! It has its own highway upon which you can travel the frarances of rapture! It does not cross any other old paths nor does it travel parallel to any other roads in trodded pathways. Truly the lavender in this is most noticeable yet however, it slowly transforms revealing its other ostentous flavours. Its a colgone which will either be loved instantly or hated, so do make sure to try it on your skin before you capture it home.

yes..lavender and wood in a soft gentle combination, a bit classy as well...nothing to WOW you but instead just another comfortable scent to wear after taking a bath and wanting to smell clean...for the price tag..not bad at all...but as I have said...viaggio keeps being the winner from the entire private collection
