So Jelly

I will start by saying this is ‘just my opinion’ 🤣 because I don’t want to offend anyone or lead anyone to disappointment by rating this so high... but I am currently in love with this. I splurged on ‘la belle’ JPG and I bought this very very cheap on a random whim, they happened to arrive the same day and I was much more impressed with this!! And sorely disappointed with la belle 👎. It’s incredibly cheap, the bottle is not my cup of tea at all! but in its defence, it is nice solid glass which feels good to hold and with a very decent sprayer! It is a gorgeous warm vanilla scent!! It is definitely edible sweet gourmand cupcake-like vanilla but it’s not totally one dimensional, I get some fruitiness (although not in notes?), and musky amber - must be the ambroxan. The dry down on my skin is lovely can’t stop sniffing myself when I wear this, It also projects and it lasts! Husband liked this too on me. Great for layering and great on its own. I have layered it with a spritz of Dali agua verde (Fig, grapefruit, nutmeg, sandalwood) so-say mens (but I say unisex) and it is *chefs kiss* two cheapy blind buys making me far far happier than the splurge I was most looking forward to! I have now bought all of them I can get my hands on and will test and comment on them when I get a chance. So far been impressed with TBH, YOLO and sorry not sorry but need to try them out a bit more. **Quick ad in - I’ve bought a new bottle back up of so jelly. Had the first for a while (but just been added to fragrantica yesterday) spraying the new bottle just now I’m getting quite a lot of alcohol initially, I think it needs to settle, as didn't get this with the first bottle I bought at all!! Will see how it is after storing for a bit hopefully it smells as nice as the first bottle I bought.

Strawberries and cream? Yes, please! Or maybe, a helping of strawberry jello ambrosia salad, fluffy with cool whip. I’ve had this for about a year now, enough time for it to sit and quietly gain strength. I picked it up on a whim at Marshall’s for $12. So Jelly is so cute! Very fluffy vanilla, and I swear I get a hint of strawberry in there, too. I also have and love Yara, which has a similar strawberry milkshake creamy lactonic feel, but with added tropical fruits. Big love for such a cheapy on the fly buy.

perfect for sensitive noses !!!!!!!!!! got as a super cheap venture into more musky scents and omg i loooooooooove. have gotten more compliments from friends with this than some of my more expensive fragrances which is always nice! of course it doesnt last very long but ive found it to be great for sensitive noses. you can spray a good amount without overwhelming yourself or others. I initially got it to try and layer with other scents but honestly i just really like it on its own.

Update: I was happy to see this back in stock at TJ Max/Marshalls but it does NOT smell the same at all. It smells like powdery old makeup mixed with oil that has gone BAD. The musk is much more present. I wouldn’t recommend the new formula. Scent notes listed as Vanilla Souffle, Skin Musk, Ambrox. The original formula does smell similar to cloud with a hint of strawberries and whipped cream.

This was on sale for $9 at Marshall’s and it was love at first sniff! It does smell like strawberries and cream, overall a delicious smelling vanilla. I do wish it lasted longer and projects better, but at that price I bought 2 backups 🤪

Hello! I'm going to upload a video review to youtube about this. This fragrance is an awesome budget fragrance. I bought this for $12.99 CAD, for a 100 ml EDP!? That is CRAZY considering the longevity and how nicely blended this is. According to the brand's website, the key notes are "vanilla soufflé, skin musk & ambrox", which are slightly different from fragrantica notes. If you are girly and you like the colour baby pink, you are going to love this fragrance. The colour of the bottle is how this smells. Light. Musky airy vanilla. Just wonderful. Radiates an arm's length for a good 8 hours if you spray on skin & clothes. Great quality for price. If you can find this at TJ Maxx or Winners/Marshalls, smell the cap and give it a try. Super versatile gourmand that is work safe! Also a compliment getter. Cheers!

I had high hopes for this because of the name. So jelly... In other words, SO JEALOUS. Nqv, as if! So NOT it. It smells very VERY cheap. Cute aesthetic bottle, that's about it. But it's a hard pass for me. I tried to layer with other perfumes, tried to make it work, but NOPE, If you like this perfume, good for you. In my honest opinion, it's extremely cheap. Good stuff ain't cheap, and cheap sh*t ain't good. Just saying. I could never be fake when it comes to perfumes. BISOUS

Plasticy, musky strawberry jello. That’s it! It smells like a really strong cheap strawberry version of Ariana’s cloud😭 the musky artificial tone is extremely strong... smelled it at TJ Maxx and was trying to figure out why I didn’t care for the musky plastic smell.. it’s the ambrox ! You know, the unisex almost masculine scent... I didn’t get it. But if you like Cloud with a musky strawberry kick then this may be a good blind buy for you!

This is actually a pretty misunderstood fragrance I find, from the reviews I was expecting something much worse than what it is. This is an ambery vanilla-cloud type perfume with a hint of something artificial vanillic plastic baby doll head. The slight plastic note is NOT unpleasant at all however. It does dry down to more of a skin musk. This is for people who like fragrances like Cloud, but find Cloud to be overbearing and lacking in the vanilla department. This is also one of those perfumes that when you spray it on yourself, you might not smell heavily but when you walk into a room, people DO notice and compliment you on how good you smell. It’s sort of like Glossier “You” in that way, it’s subtle to the wearer usually but people smell something delicious and vanilla when they’re around you. I don't like the bottles, and the '2010s teen slang' names don't appeal, but I suppose I'm not the demographic. Although it says a 2023 release, there is a reddit thread from two years ago that mentions 'So Jelly', and it was seen in Marshalls a year ago. Sephora in the UK has three of the brand's fragrances for less than £10, and although I haven't smelled them I'd have low expectations considering the cost of real vanilla. But then at the price, it could be worth a blind buy...?
