Aged Tea

Well, after receiving it more than a month ago, it's finally time to review it. I've searched far and wide for the best ever tea scent, and I think... I've reached it. This is honestly, hands down, the best recreation of aged tea I've smelled so far. IMHO this smells like a liu'bao that has had around 30 years of age. It reminds me exactly of that tea I had the last round of two years ago which was pressed in 1990s. It's intimate, it's, for me, as a person whose life is dedicated to tea, it's the smell of the thing I love most in this life. Real, proper, unadultered, raw tea. Not lemon dropped, honey sugared, cinnamon bunned, vanilla scented tea, but the raw funk of the tea plant, Camellia Sinensis, in it's most wonderful form, aged (hei cha). It's the smell I wake up to in the mornings, after lighting an incense and pouring my first cup of tea, watching the droplets swirl in the mist above the cup, inhaling that most wonderful scent. The guys at pan seven have properly recreated the thing I love the most in life. Thank you. The only downside for it is persistency and price. But honestly, for me personally, price is worth it, it's an experience which no other tea fragrance has even come close to, and I own quite a few. For persistency there's nothing I can do about, I can probably layer it with molecule 01 but I'm afraid of tampering with this beautiful scent.

An exceptionally beautiful tea perfume. Gentle, quiet, smell just like the decades-old chinese tea cake. The smoky notes make it feels like a cup of hot chinese tea, which is very relaxing, even giving a sense of Zen. But it's weak longitivity is fatal. Usually scents tend to linger on my skin, yet aged tea disappears within one or two hours. May not be a good choice for day perfume, but perfect for meditation or simply relaxing when alone.

This is tea and basically tea only,but oh what a tea scent. Gentle and quiet but filled with depth and phases. Gets smokier as it goes along. Perfect for cosy evenings at home or spring/summer days/evenings. Wears very gentle and soft. Very modest.

One of the best tea perfumes I've ever worn in my life. And with this one, the scent is highly accurate to the fragrance of real aged tea. I love it so much and got complimented from a fellow tea lover when wearing this.
