Wonderful perfume! Very Scandinavian and very Japanese simultaneously, fresh and deep, very contradictory and harmonious! Love it.

So high quality and niche smelling scent Really smells like you took a swim in an Iris pool for 2 hours

This scent looked very promising due to the notes and i am personally a big enjoyer of Iris and certainly gourmand fragrances however to my nose this smells lightly... off. I still very much enjoy this scent however due to the blend i dont pick up on many of the notes listed and i get more of a shopping center kind of smell. That sounds super weird and i really enjoy this brand so i want to obviously promote it in good fortune however this kind of smells like a cleanish primark to me or something or other. However its probably just a mix of strange skin chemistry and incorrect smelling or something as the other reviews seem to endorse this quite highly so take what i say with a grain of salt. edit: Okay its been over a month since i posted this review and ive been wearing velvet iris more and ive come more to terms what its really about. This to me opens with a beautiful sharp yet not piercing bitter orange. Velvet iris carries this orange throughout the whole life of the fragrance however develops into a more iris, floral woody fragrance to me. The best way to describe this is that its a freshish floral with a beautiful orange with a slight dryness in the background that comes from the wood. I still find chocolate and caramel hard to detect for me personally however this is a really nice sweet fragrance. Like i said this was not an immediate love for me. I couldn't really pick out any notes and just thought it was weird however with time and thought ive actually wrapped my head around this and can defo reccomend to people of all ages for both male and female

I don't get much dark chocolate, I think it's the non-reformulated version. Quite earthy notes predominate. A rooty and fresh iris, grassy vetiver are very obvious. I don't think it's sweet. As the fragrance progresses, the woody notes grow and a note like dry cocoa begins to emerge. It is very unique and magical. The only problem is that it quickly fades and completely vanishes in one hour :(

used to wear it at work to hide how sweaty i was at 9pm in 30 degree weather. iris always smells like old lipstick and grandmas purse to me, so those woody notes were definitely needed to make it less vintage-smelling. pretty good, pretty comforting. its a strong smell, but that price definitely doesnt match the longevity.

Lovely, I would have bought a full bottle if only performance was good, it's honestly really poor with this one which surprised me. Has some similarities with tbe erba pura DNA. Scent 8.5/10 Performance 5/10

Strong flowery scent. Girly and playful, but still feels elegant somehow, probably the powder. Very pleasant and fun, but definitely a female fragrance

First of all this is one of my favorite brands. I bought the original sample two years ago and now I've bought the full bottle, but I'm very disappointed. The old sample performed very well and the iris was very prominent and fresh, that's why I bought a whole bottle now. But in the current bottle, I can't find any iris notes. These are two completely different perfumes. I only get a bunch of dark chocolate,the quality of the new version of Iris is so poor. For those who want to buy the whole bottle, please think twice.

I am a very big fan of this brand, but this fragrance is really not on par with the rest of their offerings. This is pretty much a very weak skin scent right out of the bottle. The longevity is also really poor. Due to how weak this fragrance is, it is very hard to pick out any notes. The scent itself is not bad, but the performance is one of the worst I have ever encountered.

Expectation exceeded. Juniper and the Vetiver stand out as everything else is bitter. Luv this particular different Iris note, might be Iris roots, it's not the Iris one knows in most fragrances, it's a dark Iris. Fortunately to me Mint's close to absent, barely noticeable. Warms up in the drydown but still remains a bitter scent. Supposed to not perform well but to me it's pretty dense, with the generous attomizer it's set up well. Not versatile but very niche. As a darker scents seeker, very pleased I found it. Was supposed to be a blind buy, got to try it out in the store, instantly knew it's for me. About to dive deeper in Pana Dora's, can't wait, luv the houses overal approach, mature, stylish, unique.

Dark bitters opening, just the bitter from the citrus, so nice, get dark chocolate and vetiver. Flares up with a burst of lively, the way this maturated in like two years or what happened is phenomenal, sheer positivity add-on, neat highlights in the amalgam. Not Iris centered, it's all fine touches of own lane, pleasant real niche, flows smoothly, wearable.

Very impressive first impression. High quality ingredients and nice blend between Iris and woods. Subtle and stylish. I’ll need to test this out more.

This is unreal. I need it. But for the longevity, I don’t need it; it’s very weak. Price is not justified..

Smells almost identical to bebe perfume by Francis Kurkdjian.
