Darkincense

Darkincense is the latest release from Panah London and like some of my other faves from this Brand like 24k Citrus and Pink Champagne Truffle, this is another stellar offering. Darkincense is very spicy up top, blast of nutmeg and pepper mostly. The opening of this is reminiscent of Tobacco vanille or Phaedons Tabac rouge in vibe but dont let that fool you. This then transitions very differently and goes off to do it's own thing. The Heart is all honey. Rich, thick, smokey honey with a hint of dryness from the leather. This concoction then kind of flows into the base notes of Incense and ambergris mostly to my nose. The Ambergris dominant base here is very similar to something like Tauer's L'Air du desert Marocain. This Honey Ambergris combo is Rich and goes on forever and is just a joy to wear. If you like Ambery, spicy or incense notes, this will check all your boxes. Projection and Longevity are both excellent, lasting 8 hours plus easy every time I have worn it. This fragrance constantly reminds you with whiffs all day. This is one of those frags that smells incredibly familiar but different at the same time. It's like Christian Carbonnel has taken the best bits from frags like LADDM, Tobacco Vanille, Pure Havane or Naxos, Francesca Bianchi's Under My Skin etc and whipped up an alchemical Elixir of epic proportions. If you like any of the frags I have just mentioned, get your nose onto this. 9/10

This is a great and unique fragrance. Weirdly feels watery incensey in the best possible way. Perfect if you want a lighter incense fragrance; maybe best suited for evening time in autumn, winter or spring. It’s quite potent on the opening and lasts approx 4-6hrs

I absolutely love it.only wished it came in 100ml bottles so I could make it my every day fall/winter signature scent.
