Strawberry Delight

While buying gourmands people forget basic rule where gourmands perform the best i.e cold weather or winters. Not to mention restrict usage of woody notes as used in classical gourmands. What you are now left to play with is heavier elements and florals . ( balance this ! ) I tested Strawberry Delight back when the summers was at peak and had to out it aside due to the overwhelming strawberries or shall we say overripe strawberry vibes. However during my trip to Canada the fragrance just turned on my skin to something I would ideally consider a very well balanced strawberry based gourmand. The silage in the air was wonderful and exactly how ripe strawberries would smell with lactonic undertones and touch of chocolate. Fruity notes especially Strawberries are incredibly difficult to balance in a perfume without making it sickly sweet .. Sometimes one needs to appreciate a perfumer who does her job well (Kedra Hart). After watching Yana's review I can confirm it does smell like Milka Strawberry in the base note. This is not a fragrance for people who expect twist and turns . It is a straight forward gourmand which is to the point.

I love this, this is a perfect gourmand delight. I am getting a strawberry marshmallow filled with strawberry jam all topped with dark chocolate coating. Very realistic and strong. It is so sweet, almost like sugar in marshmallow was crystallised. Also just a perfect amount of sourness, to make it more realistic. There is some barely noticeable rose, but it is not bothering me (and generally I'm not a fan of rose perfumes), but rather adds more dimension to the scent. Pure perfection! 🥰 Lasting power is impressive a sillage is good too!

This is one funny fragrance to wear... Sometimes I get more chocolate, the other day I get more strawberry... Maybe it has to do with temperature, I'm not sure. The chocolate dominant days reminds me of Milka Strawberry Chocolate, while the strawberry dominant days remind me of strawberry jam that I dearly love back when I was a kid and my grandma was still alive. I just want to say, that I have a lot of fun wearing this, with great silage and projection, and stellar longevity.

My sweet boozy strawberry baby 🥺 I own this and pink champagne truffle, wouldn't say they smell the same. This is definitely more girly, still boozy but not as much as PCT. Sillage and longevity are fantastic, I can still smell it on clothes 24 hours later. I even wear this in 100+ degree heat and it doesn't feel suffocating (at least to me) but you gotta be a real gourmand lover I think for that 😂

This is the most perfect sweet realistic strawberry scent I have ever smelled. It is sweet but not cloying, and it doesn’t smell synthetic at all. Strawberry, chocolate, rose and vanilla. I wish there was a 100ml bottle. I’m going to buy a few backups of this fragrance, it’s been a long time since I’ve smelled something so gorgeous.
