I'm waiting for him... ****** Oh PANOUGE! Oh, uniqueness and beauty! Aww, French chic and mystery!.. I chose this perfume for a long time. First of all, the name impressed me - my pink agate is zodiacal. Then - the ingredients - rose, incense, geranium?.. but which... metal? and minerals? Yes, MATIÈRES LIBRES!!! A wonderful niche, a masterpiece! There was no place where I could smell it, for a test word it wouldn't work... I saw that it has a very low rating. Ha! So, a mass-disliked perfume, so just for me. I ordered and waited. After 3 weeks I held it in my hands. I'm wearing it today. Well, it's great! The rose is one of those pale pink, very delicate, that grow on a bush and they become rosehips and tea is made. Geranium is indrishe (in Bulgarian) - sweet and enchanting. There is incense, but not ecclesiastical, just resinous, discreet, cool. There are definitely metallic and mineral elements, they make the scent pulsating, ethereal, playful, enticing, somehow non-static. My whole association is about a smell that hangs around the Rosebush Fairy that you smell but don't see because she hides and you don't know when she will appear - whether in the early morning... or in the evening at dusk... or in the purple darkness when the fireflies fly... It's mine! My love!

Marie is a genius! This is exquisite! Do not spray more than half a spray as it’s beast mode and lasts for days. If you spray more than half it will overwhelm you! I bought the discovery set just for Datura Amoretti but I ended up loving every other one but it. Rose Agathe is incredible! I get the geranium mixed with the Elemi, labduman and a touch of woodiness and something really tropical and intoxicating sweet. There’s something else but I can’t describe so it must be the metallic notes because it reminds me of the same smell in flowerbomb nectar that is the gun powder. This is alluring, addictive, sophisticated, mysterious and sexy! Realistic geranium fresh, sweet and pure then blended with the above notes I described. 7/10 and i would recommend and repurchase as it projects far and wide plus it lasts and gets better and better right to the end. It smells exactly like the Caribbean fruit roseapple and it’s thus tropical and exotic! It’s like Raving Rose and Rosa Carnivora combined into a cocktail of roseapple deliciousness. Natural smelling and stunning!

Metalcladd rosebud. Sharp and icecold, it works wonders in summer, when it is nice and hot outside, but you have to concentrate and work. I wonder if Womanity by Mugler was an inspiration for this newcomer, as it does sound very much the same. If you have ever wanted more metall and less sweetness in Womanity, Rose Agathe deliveres just that. Whenever I wear Rose Agathe, I feel like I am wearing a full suit of armor and it gives me strength. All 4 of the Matieres libres line remind me strongly of the perfumes I've known or own. I was hoping that it would be something out of the ordinary, given that the briefs were not specified. Still very good, projekting and longlasting.

Beautiful effervescent mineral rose, unisex but leans more feminine, however a confident man can pull this off. Not typical in terms of a rose scent, quite unique in fact and definitely worth acquiring. Not beast mode but lingers around for 8 plus hours..gorgeous stuff

I like it. There is a tenderness I never thought this would have given the way it was described by some users here. It's beautiful like a neat suture, cold like an ice queen, green like a Fae.

I was prepping myself for an interesting spicy rose, boy, was I wrong. The girly pink bottle just doesn't give away what is the juice at all! This is really green, mineral, herbal-aromatic scent. The rose is hidden in the greenest of the green fresh grass on a cool Spring morning in the mountains. Don't let the innocent pink juice fool you, buckle up for a surprise! Quite an unique take on rose, geranium and spices. I wouldn't wear it at this point in my life but I can appreciate the quality and the creativity here.

This smells like fresh mown lawn to me. I get nothing but juicy grass in this scent. Not an unpleasant smell, but nothing I want to smell on my skin all day long, so I won't get a full bottle of this.

Boy do noses differ. This post-modern fragrance is the temperature of a potting station in a metal greenhouse. The metal is strong but not cold. Perles de Lalique is a frosty rose. There are no cold notes to Rose Agathe - no mint, camphor, no herbal Lamiaceae, no clammy resin. The pepper is dry and piercing but cold? I smell dirt, too, as in smokey peak moss. Do people mean a cold emotional tone? I could imagine that take. It smells science fiction but grounded in a patch of nature. Perhaps the serre is on an alien planet, grey and mineral dense, and this is a tiny oasis of human tended plants and flowers. Or maybe the serre is in an iron submarine, Jules Vernes style. Frankly, the oxide vibe lends a menace to the whole affair. A dystopian vibe mirroring the exhuberant Amouage Figment - which is all about the Himalayas, rocks and scrub forests, and some pretty and funky lush vistas, and dreams. But Figment is Earthly and Rose Agathe is otherworldly. Perhaps it's a cyborg wearing Guerlain Nahema, an admired classic rose fragrance that is rumored to contain no rose. Maybe plants growing under blue lights in a old college Plant Chemistry lab of black slabs and pitted chrome. And I will say Rose Agathe reminds me a bit of Eau Parfumée au Thé Noir Bvlgari, which to me is the olfactory evocation of Josef Hoffmann's Palais Stoclet in Brussels with its chic S&M undertones. So, Rose Agathe is Walter Gropius in Dessau. YOU know it's fabulous, but many just see an old barebones industrial building. Rose Agathe is creative and conceptual and I'm guessing it has been hard to sell, and is being discontinued. It's avant-garde for sure. I bought it at a steep discount.

Simply horrid at the beginning. It does smell like roses, but the metallic notes are too prominent and make you leave your comfort zone for good. I perceive the first phase as abominable, since it evokes a winter barren ice cold landscape and there's only this one lonely kid on the playground, all the soulless structures around are built of metal, and old enough to have the joyful tacky hues of bright paint scratched off. Underneath is just the old, worn-out, smelly metal skeleton. It must be a post-Soviet playground, a cemetery of children's dreams. All is metal and solitude. That's this kind of vibe. The initial sprays are harsh, then the scent becomes more mellow after the first shock. It settles down a bit and turns far more mineral. Not very pleasant either, but didn't bother me. Not that it had a big chance to bother, since it only lasted around 4 hours. The last phase was a shy cold stemmy rose with a hint of soil which would be okay, but nothing groundbreaking. Overall, a hard pass. I admit, it's kind of unique and I appreciate it as an idea, but not as something I would want to wear.

This deserves more positive reviews as it’s very unique and pleasant and longlasting.I’d describe it as a metallic rose.I’m glad someone put a rose fragrance in some different perspective than a massively overdone rose/oud combo for exp.I’d suggest definitely try before buy,it’s not challenging(roses usually aren’t),but it has it’s own twist,and i personally love uniqueness among perfumes,and this one certainly doesn’t fail to impress.Welldone!

Truly peace of art. Opening I something between minerals and vegetables, green, spicy, opulent and very abstract.In dry down rose shows some kind, of gentle famine side, but in futuristic,and bit metallic way. In Painting,this is Pablo Picasso. Form is broken,but essence is everywhere.. Absolutely beautiful, performance is amazing.

It’s a leafy and peppery rose, like if you had mixed geranium (pelargonium) and rose flowers, stems, buds, thorns and roots in a blender. I smell a lot of pepper, crushed, so burning bitter, like this sichuan pepper that manages to be both hot and cold in the same time. It’s interesting and unusual. A crazy gardener scent.

The most unique and interesting take on rose. Smells like a blend between Amouage Lyric Man+Histoires de Parfums 1.3+Serge Lutens Dent de Lait. This is a sharp, ice cold, metallic and mineral green rose.Great for summer but works all year round as well. Great performance and high quality juice.
