Donna Margherita

It starts out smelling alot like Tocca Florence which I love despite it being too fruity . Tocca Florence stays pretty linear with its white floral and fruity tones and there’s nothing wrong with that cause it’s simply beautiful . However I felt Donna Margherita is composed of better quality ingredients which didn’t smell so synthetic . I have a bottle of Tocca Florence but now wish I got DM instead . It’s so well made and it’s the first perfume that didn’t disappoint me with either the top notes or the base notes . I can agree the dry down smells quite similar to Nasomatto Narcotic Venus . But I’m so glad it doesn’t last that long cause the spices in NVenus is what lost me . Way too peppery. With Donna Margherita , the white florals are consistently classy and refined and I know I could safely wear this for any occasion so I’m willing to fork out a bottle Got myself a bottle now . Love , love it ! Will be visiting Italy in June next year and will definitely try a few of their other scents . Update - year later and found the DM to be too peppery as well and didn’t reach for it much during the year .

Mmm...sweet narcissus... Donna Margherita is a lovely romantic and feminine, linear and spring-like perfume. It's created around the flower of narcissus, taking out the cold powdery note of it and giving a nectarous twist. It is sweet and juicy, botanical and natural. It's not a complex fragrance, but it's beautiful and joyful. Too bad that it doesn't last as long as I wanted to.

Some of the fragrances in the This Reminds Me section smell a lot like this fragrance, particularly Nasamatto's Narcotic Venus, Nishane's Tuberosa and Profumum Roma's Taget. I'll also add Monegal's Kiss My Name to that list too. The major difference is this has a very sharp lily of the valley on opening, (not listed here but on manufacturer's website), that I don't care for. Fortunately, that doesn't last long before the gorgeous narcissus and jasmine show up, but they are soon eclipsed by a sweet and creamy tuberose which is softened with a little amber. It would have been nice and not so similar to the other fragrances I mentioned, if those notes were a little more prominent. Unfortunately, they're not, as they take a backseat to the tuberose. Outside of that one discordant LOTV note and my minor disappointment that the other floral notes didn't share more of the spotlight, the overall fragrance is beautiful, and it performed great too.

Donna Margherita by Pantheon Roma is a strong and bold fragrance full of white flowers, especially tuberose. It's like sticking your nose in a bunch of tuberoses, jasmines and narcissuses, and not in a subtle way — it wants to be noticed. This fragrance amplifies the crystalline notes and gets this innocent aspect a bit rebellious and attractive. It reminds me of Narcotic V by Nasomatto, but it's more affordable, especially if you get the 100ml size.

I completely agree with francesco_grieco and her review, which for me is spot-on. I was really looking forward to trying this fragrance. I was so convinced I'd love "Donna Margherita," I almost blind-purchased a full bottle. So happy I did not. I've been on a quest to find a tuberose-focused perfume that I can wear and afford in lieu of Amouage "Love Tuberose." I fell in love with Love Tuberose. But the intensity of the perfume in recent bottles seems diminished. And the perfume is very expensive, even if purchased "second-hand" from others and/or from discounters. I agree with Francesco that Donna Margherita is not subtle, or gentle in any way. Donna Margherita is a strong & powerful, mixed white floral perfume experience. I sense an extremely rancid, bitter, sour note in the opening...almost smells like vinegar. I recognize the note as p-Cresol, a prominent element in Papyrus Narcissus. The perfume's dry-down is sweeter , more floral and a bit more pleasant than its opening. But getting to the drydown is a bit difficult for me. Disappointing.

I don’t know what to think about this perfume. It’s interesting but I wouldn’t wear it. It smells weird and vintage. Vintage in a good way.

The reviews are correct. It smells like a 60/40 concoction of Tocca Florence and Narcotic V respectively. I love both of those so to me, this was a good blind buy for a decant. Frankly though, it's quite unnecessary because I could just spray my dupe of Narcotic V and Tocca Florence on me and come up with something identical. If I run out of both bottles I might consider getting this.

Excellent high quality tuberose soliflore, the jasmine is not prominent on my skin.Great sillage and lasting power. It reminds me of Tubereuse Couture minus the banana note but in my opinion the latter makes Tubereuse Couture more interesting.

Narcissus tuberose with a rancidity of jasmine and a tiny note of amber that gives it some note of rice. feminine and it's the 2nd fragrance from this line as it describes the essence of Donna the woman that Raffaello loves.
